I can't believe it's August already, this year seems to be moving so slowly yet so quickly at the same time!

Managed £310 last month between Crisp and prolific. Will be looking to you all this month for inspiration as I'm in a bit of a rut and really need to diversify again.

Hope everyone is okay and survived the heat yesterday Smile

Thanks op. Place marking Smile

WildSkitty · 01/08/2020 08:07

Thanks for the new thread @Otterses.

I'm not sure of my July total but I think it's around £400 between Appen, Neevo, prolific and intellizoom.

Happy with that.

NewModelArmyMayhem18 · 01/08/2020 08:09

I didn't have such a good month as in June. Probably made £250 maximum.

Thanks for the new thread @Otterses.

Wolfff · 01/08/2020 08:29

I made around £570 on Appen and around £100 from other sources including Crisp. My hour a day job on Appen finished this month, but I still have my Malta project. August will be my last month of intensive work though, as I have a lot on in my full time job. Been doing all this over a year now!

Thanks Otterses, my life has improved immeasurably because of you!

MrsWombat · 01/08/2020 08:35

I've not had a good month. It's very quiet out there and we've been out and about for the school holidays. Thank goodness for sinking funds...

Crisp - £145. (Also approximately an extra £10 for missing value items)
Appen - £60
uTest - £24.19 (plus another £20 from the beginning of the month that still hasn't been approved grrr.)

seizethecuttlefish · 01/08/2020 09:01

Happy August all! Sounds like we've all had a quiet month.

I looked at my Appen invoice and there are only 5 hours of non regular stuff this month. That's the lowest ever for me.

I feel your pain @Otterses I'm completely stuck in a rut and this is my only income so I need to make minimum wage or I can't get my tax free childcare. This thread has changed my life (thanks everyone).

Hoping the exchange rate picks up soon but here's this month.

Potato- ~210
Appen-~ 490
Intellizoom - 30

I've got a few bits outstanding but I'll happy add them next month. Makes it look better lol.

Sonmi451 · 01/08/2020 09:12

Thanks for the new thread. I'm very new to this so am in the process of joining / registering / doing tests etc. I hope I can earn some money in August. Even £50 would be nice. Is that do-able at this stage, or will it take longer to get to that level?

Baby89 · 01/08/2020 09:14

I made £45 on prolific and £50 on a reward project about a new weight loss app , and about £27 on neevo - still awaiting more payment from them.

Mrsm010918 · 01/08/2020 09:15

June wasn't too bad, made £135 across Appen, Prolific, CW and Neevo.

Waiting on around $120 from Neevo and currently on 2 Appen projects so that should boost this month up!

whysotriggered · 01/08/2020 09:15

place marking

made 700 plus in July from Appen and Neevo. But need to try and find other things, as also one of my projects in Appen is coming to an end soon.

Good luck to everyone

justtheonethen · 01/08/2020 09:31

Didn't make much in July as I only worked (half heartedly) in the first half and had a baby in the middle Grin

£350 across Appen and Crisp

curdsandwhey · 01/08/2020 09:35

For anyone who Intellizoom suits them but they'd like more, can I once again recommend Usertesting.com (not the same thing as UTest). They pay more, $10 per test instead of $8. There's a lot more tests available although you do get screened out of a lot more, but I've getting a couple of tests per week. It also seems a bit more organised if that makes any sense, and they pay you after a week instead of 3 weeks.

WonderTweek · 01/08/2020 09:36

Happy August everyone!

I'm still starting out and the first two weeks of July were really quiet but I managed around £150 in the end. Although I'm waiting on at least $100 from Neevo but some of the jobs are still open so it might be a while. Also waiting on a few bob from Intellizoom.

I'm pretty happy with it but aiming for a bit more this month. I'm supposed to start with Lionbridge next week all being well, and have an active Appen account now so hoping to really get my teeth into project work soon.

GachaBread · 01/08/2020 09:45

My totals
Cloudworkers £650
BeMyEye £37
Roamler £5
Mystery-shopping.co.uk £10
Populuslive £50
Streetbees £5
Shoppix £5
Prolific £23.75
eBay £50

Wishing everybody here a productive and fruitful August.

margaritasbythesea · 01/08/2020 09:51

Thanks for the new thread Otterses.

I got £50 on PopulusLive and about the same frim Appen. Waiting, waiting, waiting to be added to the tool for S**a. I know they tell you to be patient but I am worried about missing something. Love an Appen hour a day (ish) project, me.

AStubbornlyPersistentIllusion · 01/08/2020 09:56

Thanks for the new thread @Otterses

Hope everyone has a prosperous August!

unicornpoopoop · 01/08/2020 09:59

I made £550 in July on lionbridge. I kept stressing over my scores after hearing horror stories of being kicked off but got my scores through yesterday and were my highest yet at 95% so I'm safe for another month.

Is anyone on lionbridge who gets to do their 20 hours a week when they want to? Eg could do two 10 hour days if they wanted to? I can only do 3 hours a day and it's annoying me as I'm not always available every day but some days I could definitely fit in more than 3 hours. It just means I'm never making the 20 hours a week because of the 3 hour restriction

Otterses · 01/08/2020 10:44

@justtheonethen

😂 bloody superwoman you are!

OP posts:
Horehound · 01/08/2020 11:05

Is anyone doing the voice recordings on Neevo for a phone command thingy like "hey Google"

Just wanted to confirm we only have to say the prompt once then submit it yeh?!

Horehound · 01/08/2020 11:15

Oh well it's done now I guess it is supposed to just be once. I managed 58 and they said work is complete

lannister · 01/08/2020 11:39

Thank you for the new thread. July was good for me. Made about £500 mainly from matched betting and a bit of crisp, prolific and intellizoom. Still waiting to cash out my 20cogs, if anyone hasn't joined this or ohmydosh, I would be grateful if you used my links below, we both get a little reward:

curdsandwhey · 01/08/2020 12:18

If anyone wants an in-the-background project where you just fill in a couple of surveys per week then YouGov is pretty good, mainly because they never screen you out, so every survey I've started, I have finished. People tend to say they cash out £50 once or twice a year, so obviously not the hugest earner, but it's one of those trundling-along-in-the-background things. dirtyfries · 01/08/2020 12:29

Thanks for the new thread!
I managed around £200 in July through prolific, testable minds, neevo, clickworker, intellizoom & UserTesting.

Still awaiting a long hoped for regular Appen project. It's been about 5 months and I've only been approved for B* which was so poor this month.

This is around my full time job - I went back to working from the office this month so I'm happy with my total.

hoolahoolahoop · 01/08/2020 12:53

@GachaBread Hello, hope it's ok to ask - how is cloudworkers to work for? How many hours did you do roughly to earn what you did last month?
Have applied after going on website from seeing your good amount. Not quite sure what I'll be chatting about or who with though...😳
