I can breath again Letter arrived today confirming no amendments. I will be shit hot on paperwork and accounts from now on. O and declare Interest earned as didnt but they didnt say anything about that.

Luckymum82 · 14/01/2016 16:44

Hi all,

I called normal tax credits office today to update my childcare and she never mentioned concentrix at all so I'm assuming all is well now. Told me my new payments would probably kick in next week and it turns out I'm probably due more money as they didn't change my income when i told them about going onto mat pay. They had my salary at over 7k more than it will be for this tax year. Silver linings and all that..

Fingers crossed to everyone still waiting. xx

ElasticPants · 15/01/2016 16:59

I received a letter today asking for proof of childcare costs, and how I worked out my average costs.

I printed off bank statements and highlighted the nursery payments for each month and sent them off with a copy of the nursery fees list.

After googling this company I'm now slightly worried Sad

Password9 · 15/01/2016 17:09

Hi risk but they are legit.

JBEM4 · 18/01/2016 09:53

Called them this morning to amend childcare costs and was told a closed letter had been sent out on the 15th!!! Didn't need to send my savings account statements after all!!

So so so relieved that it's finally all over Smile

Good luck to all those still waiting x

Hawaiiturtle101 · 18/01/2016 10:19

That's good news. I hope this isn't an annual thing for us all.

987leigh654anne · 19/01/2016 16:45

Hello everyone,

I got a 'no change required' letter and my case has been closed. I have never felt so relieved! I didn't realise how much it was stressing me until it was over, however I was lucky to still get payments.

The day I got the letter I was hysterical worrying I was going to have to go to court and prove my situation, I had no idea it was a 'fishing expedition' by concentrix. After I read this thread I calmed down. It has kept me sane and seeing the positive outcomes helped. Good luck to everyone still waiting! :-)

JBEM4 · 19/01/2016 17:56

Lovely news Smile

987leigh654anne · 19/01/2016 18:33

It is! And for you too 😄 There seems to be more and more positive outcomes and that's really good to see

Luckymum82 · 19/01/2016 21:12

I finally got my letter in post, even though I had been told over the phone I was still worrying. Feel like framing the letter! Great news for everyone, hopefully we'll be left alone for a while now xx

JBEM4 · 20/01/2016 15:16

Had my letter this morning - fingers crossed they'll leave us all alone this year 😕

sophorifichobnob · 20/01/2016 16:41

Marking my place in case I get a letter.

Freeandsinglewater · 20/01/2016 20:38

OMG.
I've just got a letter from theses people are they real?
Is it a fishing scam?

Hawaiiturtle101 · 20/01/2016 21:03

Yep. I had no one attached to me or my house. I sent the documents, never contacted them to find a mystery name and case was closed. They are definitely trying to scare and catch people out.

Freeandsinglewater · 20/01/2016 21:09

Ug... They are asking about my childcare. Any tips are very gratefully received.
Should I copy everything? Send it to via post? Via recorded delivery? Phone up?

HELP!

Hawaiiturtle101 · 20/01/2016 21:58

Just send what they ask for..
nothing more. send it recorded delivery towards the end of the deadline so you still get your payments but make sure it gets there before your deadline. I didn't ring ..just sent it in with no explanations no covering letter ..just exactly what they requested.

Freeandsinglewater · 20/01/2016 22:23

Thanks turtle, but I have a problem.
My January statement hasn't arrived by post and I don't expect it to arrive until the end of Jan.

Luckymum82 · 20/01/2016 22:35

Do you have access to online banking? If so I would just print those instead. I actually missed 2 of my bank statements as I couldn't find them and they never asked me to send them on. I also couldn't supply my mobile bills as I'm paperless with them and they hadn't arrived by my deadline. If it's childcare though a letter from your childcare provider is usually enough. I've been asked for that twice and both times that was all I sent.
Good Luck!

stressedmummy86 · 21/01/2016 00:33

Hi
I received one of these dreaded letters a few days before Xmas. I sent off 9 months worth of bank statements, utilities ect. It totally ruined my Xmas and I am constantly stressed about it. I also suffer from stress related alopecia and have ended up with 2 new bald patches! My date for sending all docs was 5th of Jan. I posted everything recorded delivery and they signed for it on the 3rd Jan. Still heard nothing as of yet. Should I be worried? I've got absolutely nothing to hide as they will see but have read others posts about them stopping tax credits despite this.

Freeandsinglewater · 21/01/2016 10:00

Crap,
It looks like I've been under paid! But I don't have a wtc5 how to work out costs of child care.
Do I put down the figure of I thought it was, or the one I've just calculated?

Ah!!?

Freeandsinglewater · 21/01/2016 10:02

stressed mummy Flowers

Melzita75 · 21/01/2016 10:16

I received a letter from 'Consentrix' too.

I'm very worried about it, as the Letters are black and white & photocopied. maybe they are saving on ink, but anything official should be of better quality? I was thinking it was a hoax and I'm weary of sending my personal details to them?

stressedmummy86 · 21/01/2016 10:22

How long does it typically take to hear back once they have received documents? I really just want this over and done with. It's so frustrating because if, for whatever reason, they do stop my tax credits I would no longer be able to afford to travel to work (15 miles) as would need to sell my car. That would then leave me no choice but to give up my job and claim benefits. I'm sure I wouldn't be the only one in this position. They are going to end up forcing a lot of single parents into hardship. Surely it's a good thing if we are trying to work and keep food on the table and a roof over our heads? I work hard and try my best, I often work late and rely on family and friends to help me out with childcare. I really resent being made out some sort of criminal.

financialwizard · 21/01/2016 13:49

stressed I got my letter last night from them. Apparently I have an invisible partner. Awesome, just wished he'd been paying the bills!!

Anyway rang them. Automated system said 28 working days Shock
