Hi to all the new ladies - hope you manage to find some advice and support here.

Quick update from me - I have nothing to update! I'm waiting until the last minute to send off the extra information they've asked for (needs to be there by 18th) so that if they choose to stop my payments it probably won't be done until after xmas ... Why I have to write to tell them what date I took over the shop is beyond me but hey ho!

JBEM that's what I did in November..timed it so they only just received my documents before the deadline so payment would continue. We have to be as clever as they think they are.

Hawaiiturtle101 True I just posted mine today £4.40 that was just for recorded. money due tomorrow. Poxy council or post still not received my bill ordered it on 19th nov.

Posted my documents last Wednesday by special delivery my deadline is tomorrow and looking they have a back log don't want to ring as its caused me to much distress if they not scanned them yet will my money be stopped next Wednesday do u think ? Xxx

Also I have a job interview and been given the job but not got a start date yet so coming off benefits but still need tax credits as I am not earning a great deal who do I ring to inform once I have a start date concentrix or HMRC thank you xxx

Sassie if your case is with concentrix then you need to call them. HMRC won't be able to do anything with your claim x

i wish i had of known sooner and could have too stalled them, but unfortunately not!! never knew a thing until the letter said that they had already stopped my money. I sent them the info recorded delivery on Wednesday and hope when i call on Monday they have some progress. If i had of known i would have budgeted my monthly wage as best i could even though its Christmas and budget is never great when you have three children on your own to fend for. This has been such a hard week and has made me feel so low and down about how i am going to keep me and my children a float until i am paid my wages. Have not cried this much in a long time and feel like a complete lowlife begging off family and friends for petrol to get to work, food, gas,. electric, school dinner monies and now i am in arrears with my nursery fees and have had to cut my hours, and gain beg people to have my youngest so i can go to work. And no doubt this will be the same again next week. i cant believe the way they carry on and do this to people with no support offered, financially or through advice. I am trying my hardest to smile for my children but inside i just want to scream!!

It's so wrong just to stop money. It's like a punishment. I hope you get some joy on Monday Donnabonna and they reinstate your money. Did you have documents to send off? Was it the usual, someone linked to your address letter?

Hi everyone, not been on in a while as after everything that had happened it all just got too much. Am pleased to now say after 26 long weeks my case is now closed! Thank you to all those who commented, gave me advice and support when I needed it. This group really helped me. Good luck to everyone else waiting for news & merry Christmas xxxx

Hi can someone give me some advice I've been going out my mind all day still am now can't sleep. I've now recieved this dreaded letter from these bloody concentrix people today saying they've got information on another adult living with me. I'm a single mum always have been my daughter is nearly 28 months old. They've gave me up until the 6th January to provide all the info they are requesting bank details from 6th April 15 to now. Electric water gas and telephone bills from then to now. Now I av a problem I'm unable to get a bank account in my name n when I had my baby child tax refused to pay me n said I needed a bank whether it be a family member or friend so my brother in law has 2 bank accounts he gave me the card n allowed me to get all my benefits paid in. So I did n I have been using this card with no problem since this time last year. I needed the billing address changing to my address which my bro did. I read somewhere on here that someone else is in similar situation with bank details. Do yous think it could be this what's causing me this problem? I'm confused but I know full well I dont have a man living with me n never have...n never will! I rung them today soon as letter arrived....n well well well as I've heard on hear god knows how many times...their computers were down n couldn't get anything up but still managed to give me a right mouthful over phone made me out to be a benefit fraud n made me out to be a liar n said basically they've got evidence on me... but the computers arnt working are they so how would she know that. She refused to give me her name again cos she had gave it to me at beginning of call but I obvs didn't hear her cos I was just ranting about them stopping my money. I'm so confused. So in end she jus put phone down on me after saying if I don't comply with what they've asked my child tax will be stopped n it will be put down that I wouldn't comply with the checks n would look even worse on me. I never once refused to comply I just wanted to know what me sending such personal info was going to prove whether or not I had a another adult living with...all that proves is bills are in my name but if they use credit referencing agencies to determine all this then they would see that the bills are in my name anyway wouldn't they :/ I'm baffled

my advice is just send what they ask for. If all is in your name..that's all they are looking for. I've just been through it and didn't communicate at all with them..just sent in all the bills in my name and my bank account. having an account in your brother in law name is not a crime and does not prove anything. do you have gas, electricity and council tax in your name?

They received the letter they asked for this morning so going to phone later to make sure they have it on their system by Friday's deadline .... Looks like it'll be going into next year before I get my decision though x

Hi everyone.

I'm in a right state. Basically I had the dreaded concentric letter back in September its been 14 weeks since I had child tax for my 5 year old son. During the 14 weeks I have given birth to my daughter (7 weeks old now) & had her added to my child tax case (had no money for her either)

Today I received a letter from concentrix asking for my tenancy agreement from April 14 - April 15, gas bills, water bills , electric bills, phone bills, any loan credit or store card statements for that period also. They are also asking why my council tax bill for last year doesn't have single person discount on & why my daughter's father has active accounts at my address.

The situation is ridiculous, my ex (daughter's father) is currently homeless & has been for a few months so I let him get post here as we are on good terms, and he's been visiting everyday since I found out I was pregnant in april due to a very complicated difficult pregnancy. It just seemed easier for his post to come here as he can collect every day, He has never lived with me, I pay all the bills out of my money & he has never paid anything not even maintenance.
I am starting to panic over this as I don't know how I am supposed to prove he's homeless & I don't know why the council tax bill doesn't say single person discount on as the 2013-2014 one does :/ and so does this year's.
Concentrix have given me til the 4th January to get the information to them. Does anyone have any advice for me please? It would be much appreciated
Also my landlord is now threatening to take me to court as I owe £600 rent top up due to not getting the child tax. My healthy start vouchers for my daughter's milk has also been stopped :/ I will have none left as from next week & I don't know how I'm supposed to survive & provide for the children on £100 a fortnight

Poppz send everything they've asked for include a covering letter explaining the bank account,make sure you send it recorded delivery too. The next time you ring them get their name before you ask or give any info. They think they can get away with this and it's wrong. Also when you ring try to remember what date n roughly what time you rang before and tell them you wish to make a complaint. None of us on here are criminals yet we are/have been treated like one. They're disgusting the way they are on the phone. Please let us know how you get on and please try not to worry,we've all been where you are now x

Nikkileigh,send them your bills,ask the council tax to explain why there's no single person discount on your claim they should be able to help with that one. They don't need to know your ex is homeless it's nothing to do with them,and if they ask about where he lives just tell them he has no fixed address n stays with friends/family. How come they stopped your money 14 weeks ago? Have they only just asked you for information? They stopped my money for 14.5 weeks after they decided my evidence wasn't good enough,I took my case to appeal and won. Please go see your mp also the citizens advice bureau and tell them your situation. Good luck and let us know how you get on x

Morgani97 I got the usual "we suspect someone living at your address" letter 14 weeks ago, and I sent them all the stuff they asked for then. I've waited 14 weeks for them to do a mandatory reconsideration. The letter ove just received says that they have decided someone does live with me & they want prove that my ex doesn't. If I send in the stuff they are asking for the second time then I might get the decision reversed.

I'm going to citizens advice again in the morning. I've been nearly every week since I got the first letter and my mp knows what's going on. He isn't doing anything about it as far as I'm aware.

I'm literally on the edge of a mental & physical breakdown
