Angry bird I got my documents back jury before Xmas and ran the 29th they said no changes to my claim. Camper love concentrix did say due to the bank holidays and backlogs no payments would be stopped over xmas not sure what will happen after Xmas.

JBEM4 · 02/01/2016 21:50

I was also told they wouldn't stop payments over Christmas - that being said they have and will stop payments if they don't receive the information they ask for and will then ask for all payments made back ....

Password9 · 03/01/2016 13:34

I know its be holiday period but this is no way to start the new year. Im now planning the worst and looking to hand over care :(

AngryBird2015 · 03/01/2016 15:33

Password, don't fear the worst. The way I see it is I have nothing to hide and every one of my bills are in my name/bank account. If they find a problem with this I will have to appeal. So aslong as your being trueful you can do no more. This does annoy me that they pick on people that are clearly working and not sitting on their arses doing f all! I could easily give up work and go on benefits and to be honest I would be better off wen I take into consideration of travel to and from work plus dropping the kids to my parents. I give up all of my weekend and quality time with my kids to slave away for minimum wage. Maybe if we was all paid more we wouldn't have to rely on working tax credits.

They are not just picking on people that are working.

I am on benefits (single mum of 2 - one 5years & one 10 weeks old) I haven't had any child tax since September & am now about to lose my house. I've already lost the healthy start vouchers for my 10 week old due to not getting child tax.

I get £130 a fortnight to live. We are all in a difficult situation that this concentric company have put us in.

AngryBird2015 · 03/01/2016 17:25

Nikki how can they stop your money that long? How are you supposed to support u and ur children? Plus It's a investigation, so how can they stop your money without a outcome? There's gotta be help out there for you, that's no way to survive. They really do not care what situation they put anyone in!

AngryBird2015 · 03/01/2016 17:26

I suppose I should be grateful that they haven't stopped my working tax then if they have the authority to do that.

They stopped it the same day they sent the letter out to me. :/

Im sick of phoning them about it. I've sent documents 3 times to prove I'm the only adult at my address. I'm currently waiting for the decision from the last lot I sent.

Even My landlord written a letter to say I am the only adult as she does random house checks every few months so Im sure I'd of been caught by her if I had a partner or another adult here.

I informed them when my daughter was born & they said they would push my case forward (that was 10 weeks ago) it's a never ended worsening situation. Hopefully they will get their arises in gear to sort it out as any correspondence with me has to be done through my solicitor as its affecting my health quite badly - I'm having panic attacks all the time worrying that I can't afford nappies or food for the children.

Luckily I have a good family & set of friends who have been putting gas, electric & food in our bellies & buying bits & pieces the kids need (wipes, nappies etc)

It's shocking how they are getting away with it all.

AngryBird2015 · 03/01/2016 18:23

It's so not fair!! You should be enjoying bonding time with your newborn, not worrying where your next meal will come through. I can't believe they're constantly turning people's lives upside down without a care in the world. Just think of that big amount they'll owe you once sorted, gotta have some positivity in all this ain't ya.

Yep, that's gunna be a large amount. I'm keeping positive by thinking how I can spoil the kids with it so far I'm thinking a holiday abroad to Disney world during the summer holidays, my baby will be 9/10 months old by then so shell find it fun too. :)

Maybe a bit of retail therapy for us, New toys, clothes, shoes etc

Just gotta keep positive til it happens

AngryBird2015 · 03/01/2016 19:39

It will happen! God knows you'll deserve it. If I've learnt one thing from all this its to hold onto all old bills and bank statements, you never know when they'll be on your back again and want loads of info at the drop of a hat. Worst thing for me is the other adult they're talking about is somebody connected to my address in 2005. Even a idiot could work out that there's no way they're connected if I've only been there 2 years myself. I assume this will always be a problem with rented accomadation.

nikkileighxox123 · 03/01/2016 19:54

Angrybird2015

Aye same. I'm lucky Ive kept all the bills for my address since I moved in, got the concentrix letter the day I was having a clear out & about to shread them all. If it was a day later I'd of been screwed massively.

Morgani97 · 03/01/2016 20:03

Hey nikkileigh, sorry to hear you're still waiting, stay positive all will come good in the end, concentrix are absolute scum doing this, maybe give them a ring in the week and see if there's been any progress, did you have to do a mandetory reconsideration,I've been following this thread from day one but without trawling back I can't remember if you did or not x

nikkileighxox123 · 03/01/2016 21:39

Morgani97

Yeah I've done my mandatory reconsideration. They sent me a letter back saying they weren't giving me my money back & then got two wanting more info. I'm fuming over it all.

I am not phoning them, they have to go through my solicitor now. I refuse to deal with them after all the stress & panic attacks & hospital visits I've done.

My solicitor is building a case against them if they reject my documents again. I'll be sueing them.

Luckymum82 · 03/01/2016 22:05

My deadline was the 9th Dec and I've still to hear back, haven't received my documents or anything yet. My problem is I'm due to return to work next week and my wee one was meant to be starting nursery. I don't currently receive a childcare element so can anyone advise what I do about my circumstances changing? It's bad enough going back to work and leaving baby in nursery never mind not knowing if I'm gonna be able to pay the fees 😩

JBEM4 · 03/01/2016 22:11

You need to call concentrix to add the childcare element. They'll make any changes until they make their decision x

Luckymum82 · 03/01/2016 22:26

Thank u,

Not entirely sure how happy my work will be if I need to take more time off as I can't afford nursery! Hopefully I'll hear something either way soon... x

Luckymum82 · 03/01/2016 22:52

Can I ask what mandatory reconsideration consists of? What extra paperwork do they need that they haven't already asked for? I'm just looking to be prepared if I get the worst outcome? x

Morgani97 · 04/01/2016 20:40

Nikkileigh, that's awful, have you appealed against their decision,if not get your solicitor to do the appeal for you and also make a new claim too. Lucky the mandetory reconsideration involves asking them to reconsider their decision if its rejected then you can appeal and also make a new claim,a lot of ladies did this I think some of them are on earlier letter from concentrix threads x

Luckymum82 · 04/01/2016 22:25

Thank u, hopefully it doesn't come to that 😩 x

Morgani97 · 05/01/2016 12:29

Hello everyone should we be thinking of starting a part 8 at some point as it looks like more n more people are joining this thread x

AngryBird2015 · 06/01/2016 14:46

I just called up after receiving documents back at the end of Dec. They said its case closed and there's no changes as they're happy with my information and they sent a letter on the 30th Dec to let me know. Can't wait to receive the letter and keep it in hand for proof.

Haggis48 · 06/01/2016 15:40
