Hi all i've been dipping in and out of this threat since it first appeared on MN all those months ago, I wonder if anyone who has been in a similar situation could help me?

I got the childcare letter I'm pretty sure the deadline was first/ second week in June (so long ago now!) I renewed online and I sent what documentation I could didn't really think much of it as I hadn't done anything wrong. Fast forward a bit and I get a letter from HMRC asking for the same documents I'd sent concentrix (originals!). So I spend the mandatory 1hr on the phone asking for docs so I can send to HMRC but Con said they are dealing with the case. Fine, was still getting payments (in fact they had gone up slightly since earnings were lower last year).

Deadline for the HMRC doc letter passed 3 weeks ago and I haven't recieved any payments since that deadline!! I couldn't send original docs in since Con had them and Con said they were dealing with it! So I phone Con again, and the man checked everything for me and closed the case down, said docs would be returned and I'd get a letter. I double checked it was all sorted and payments would be turned back on which he confirmed.

Week after still no money! £170 a week down at the moment and I haven't paid the nursery Sad. Phoned HMRC who said they couldn't even access my info as Con had it locked!! Another 1hr on hold to Con, definitely closed this time, payments will restart etc for sure. Well this week still no payment!! I'm having to borrow money from family members and the cupboards are getting extremely bare. And the worst thing is when they eventually do start back up I'm pretty sure the £170x3 is just averaged out accross the rest of the year its not like i'll get that money back to pay off what i've borrowed.

Has anyone else been in a similar situation and knows how long it takes for the payments to be restarted once they have stopped? I'm starting to feel sick now wondering what will happen if nothing is paid next week Confused

I don't ever want to have to rely on Tax credits again, it's absolutely shocking how they can play with peoples lives like this Sad

I got back from familys house late to find a letter from lancing, felt like Charlie bucket hoping for a golden ticket, not much chance but hope.
I GOT A GOLDEN TICKET!
Same letter as scousejo, letter dated 30th,
We've completed our check on your award to 5th April 2015, we don't need to change your award.
This is the case closed.letter I presume? Absolutely didn't expect this outcome.

Hateconcentrix · 05/08/2015 00:57

Hamiltons, I'm so.Sorry for posting my post, just read the other posts and saw yours. I hope you get good news soon and they sort yours out.x

12fedup12 · 05/08/2015 07:17

Yes hate concentrix that is the case closed letter, so pleased for you x

Dollygem · 05/08/2015 07:37

Morning all, well after being told Monday evening by HMRC what my new payments were going to be and having to reclaim wtc over the phone I've checked my bank this morning and nothing has gone in at all!! Not even my child tax credit that they said wouldn't be affected, so waiting for 8am to ring them to find out what's going on! Do you think it could be late due to them recalculating my claim to add the wtc back on?? He definitely told me what this weeks payment was going to be and then said the computer couldn't tell him next weeks anymore (it had told him before I added wtc back on) as it would be different as wtc should of been sorted by then! No idea what's going on now

Hamiltoes · 05/08/2015 09:24

Hi Dolly,

Same situation with me, absolutely no payments! Am also going to phone, thats three weeks in a row now Sad I don't even know what I've done I sent them everything before the deadline and have been told repeatedly the case is closed, why are they messing with peoples lives!!

MissE84 · 05/08/2015 09:46

Hi ladies, I don't think they know what they are doing. It's driving me crazy.

Dollygem · 05/08/2015 10:23

Hi hamiltons the thing is they told me Monday that my payments had gone down and exactly how much I would get this week, then they put in for my wtc again as concentrix had told them to take it off even though I'm working more than 16hrs! Anyway rang this morning and told they sent the payment Friday for it to be in today which they always do and it's definitely been auctioned and excepted by my bank, they also told me my claim for wtc has been excepted and I should get a payment Friday and what my payments will be from then on. So rang the bank and they can't see the payment for today but got to wait till 12 lunchtime for the bank to refresh again to see if it's there then and if not HMRC told me to ring back so they can try and trace the payment!! So in one way a lot of mine has been sorted and I'm just appealing against the overpayment from last tax year now but in another the bloody payments have gone missing!

MissE84 · 05/08/2015 10:27

Dollygem that's good they accepted your new claim.

Scousejo1967 · 05/08/2015 10:46

They have not got a clue what they are doing . I know it costs for phone calls but keep on at them to sort it. Absolutely discusting treating people this way. Mine took 14 weeks to sort. Hmrc check took less than a month . Hope you get sorted soon girls big hugs to you all waiting xx

MissE84 · 05/08/2015 11:04

Scousejo1967, did concentrix refer your case to hmrc or what? So saw that hmrc check took less than a month.

Dollygem · 05/08/2015 12:46

HMRC have only gone and sent my money to the wrong account!!

MissE84 · 05/08/2015 13:18

Oh nooo dollygem

Dollygem · 05/08/2015 15:09

They have sent it too my old account which I changed the details with them at the beginning of June and they have been paying into since then!! The account is closed so I can't get to it and the lady at HMRC has said they have to wait for it to bounce back to them before resending it back to me! Just when you think you take two steps forward, you get pushed back

MissE84 · 05/08/2015 15:21

So your money hasn't stopped than they just been going back to your old account @Dollygem

kayleighdean198615 · 05/08/2015 15:44

i am devastated looks like theyve lost my documents the lot all originals i cannot believe it i burst into tears on the phone..they are scanning up to july 21 apparently mine were sent before that..ive got to send them all again!! i sould cry 7 months pregnant and 3 month down the line nothing i am furious going to take me two weeks easily to get it all again!!

Scousejo1967 · 05/08/2015 15:59

No miss e I had the sane check last year from Hmrc Kayleigh can you not speak to Hmrc complaints .. Can't they scan or email he info for you as you have waited so long, I feel for you love what's the check for ? Xx

twinklefrog · 05/08/2015 16:22

I'm in the same boat Kayleigh - they've had my docs signed for since 19th June but they haven't been scanned yet - only difference is that they haven't confirmed they're lost they just keep saying they're waiting on the scanning company to come back to them on where they are so they won't let me send anymore docs.
HMRC won't help as its a concentrix issue - I've spoken to 3 managers at HMRC who say they have no power over concentrix to intervene and I have to just keep taking it up with them direct and nothing HMRC can do

Scousejo1967 · 05/08/2015 16:27

The only thing they can do is find out what's happening for you if you put in a complaint they will give you a case worker . Mine was helpful I did get compensation for calls and post etc. good luck girls

kayleighdean198615 · 05/08/2015 18:09

hi all sorry ive been on the phone trying to sort this mess out for hours of my life il never get back.. basicly i was told that they have caught right up with the documents and are now scanning 20th of july which defo means mine have took legs and walked either at the post office or at concentrix no who my money is on idiot here only sent 1st class not tracked so i have no way of confirming whever theyve been lost due to them or royal mail. i was put through to the manager all the douments i sent were originals he was sympathetic and said he would keep a special eye on my case and try to make a decision within the next couple of weeks but it will be diffiult to do that without one bit of supporting eveidence so he will need some documents but he did say he would try avoid payments being stopped by noting missing documents on the system. also appparently there deadline to deal with all caes is august 31st so a decison will have to be made soon anyway so to get some eveidence in asap. im so annoyed with it all so ive been on to the bank council tax tv water trying to sort duplicates even the lady at the banl felt sympathy for me and waived the charge for the statements for me..now i have to start from scratch :-/

lauren132 · 05/08/2015 19:45

How awful ,but at least u have a window to send new docs in with out them closing your case GOOD LUCK x
