Update on mine, finally received letter from concentrix this morning saying case closed and no amendments, what I did was renew again online last week via hmrc as still had the reference number although I had sent renewal to concentrix I was worried with the deadline of 31st July approaching and thought I had nothing to loose by trying that and it seems to have pushed it along and finally been acted upon, if anyone is still waiting to hear and sent renewal to concentrix and still have there reference to renew then do it online with hmrc, that should hopefully speed it up for you, good luck to all waiting xx

Hamiltoes · 07/08/2015 13:10

Just an update on mines, after three weeks with no payments and absolutely no explainatuin I spoke with HMRC today who said it should be going in on my normal payment date and if nothing in a weeks time I'm to call them back, no explaination, nothing Hmm

She can't tell me if i'll get the three weeks missed payments back or if they just get averaged out over the year as the calc takes 48 hours apparently! Absolute nightmare, I've borrowed money and no idea if i'll be able to pay it back and no one can answer why this has happened. Sad

Catmto3 · 07/08/2015 21:56

Still haven't had a decision on mine and they were received on 22nd June. Had money cut, hubby is off work on so K and just this week been sacked. I'm literally more stressed than I ever thought possible. Now I have to call hmrc to say he is unemployed which I'm worried will put it all back further.

So pleased to read that some of u are starting to get letters etc confirming no change ????
Xx

MissE84 · 07/08/2015 22:54

Catmto3 omg this must be very stressful for you. Just hang on hun everything will be fine.
They will just deduct it out of your future tax credits.

Catmto3 · 07/08/2015 23:06

Well I'm hoping that cos he is officially out of work Monday they do a 2 week (or so) run on so by then it will be sorted and we won't owe money. Just completely feel in limbo atm.

Scousejo1967 · 07/08/2015 23:50

Mumdad that's great news. Fingers crossed for you other ladies. Keep strong and keep fighting them all the way . Complain to Hmrc and at least get money back for phone calls Etc

jammy1000 · 08/08/2015 08:31

Hi ladies, ive been following this thread since the beginning. . Iam after what your thoughts on what my letter could say... I posted my documents back the beginning of june for a employment check... phoned yesterday as iam going on hoilday today, just what to know the outcome.. told they had been scanned on the 10th july but hadn't been look at, the lady said to phone back last night as she would get someone to look at them... so I phoned quarter to 8, to be told a letter has been sent out to me, but she couldn't see what it says! Confused ive phoned again this morning so the computers will have been updated to be told the same thing.... worried why they cannot tell me what it says...

Morgan97 · 08/08/2015 08:33

Good advice scousejo to everyone one her keep fighting the fight. The waiting and not knowing what's going to happen is the worst thing ever. Keep supporting each other and stay strong x

Scousejo1967 · 08/08/2015 08:36

Jammy... ciara had the same thing they wouldn't / couldn't tell her what the letter said, on Monday ring Hmrc as when you're cased is dealt with the update on the computer and Hmrc finish you're review. If you can't wait I would ring Concentrix back and ask to speak to a manager .

Sallysarah85 · 08/08/2015 11:27

Hi all,
I've been following this thread since June as I got THAT letter (another adult blah blah blah) was so worried because I've been on my own since moving to my address 4 years ago and before that when I lived with my mum. My father lives here and my sister used this address as a postal address as she was homeless. Kind of feel like I've been accused of being in a relationship with my dad or my sister!! Ha! Anyway I rang them and got through after ten mins, this was a strange accurance. My docs have been scanned and awaiting decision, I've been told (by a very nice lady) that I should recieve a decision in the next few days. Not that I'm worried or anything but it's a big of a nightmare isn't it? I've not really worried about it because this year has been hell (but still smiling) so my mind has been else where. Just like to say this thread has helped too. Thanks ladies I hope you get the out come you need. We've got another 5 years of this government so it's not the end but keep fighting the fight comes from within. Good luck xxx

jammy1000 · 08/08/2015 15:14

Sorry.. meant to say thanks scousejo1967 lol not ciara..

jammy1000 · 08/08/2015 21:45

Having problems posting... it hasnt posted last msgs, I'd asked to speak to a manager but was told they wouldn't be able to see also..looks like I'll just have to wait 7-14 for letter. Hate this waiting game.

Morgan97 · 09/08/2015 07:40

Jammy it's the waiting n not knowing that's the worst thing about this. I'd do as scousejo says n ring hrmc and see what they have to say. Good luck.

Hi im new mumsnet but have plenty to say about concentrix, i have been investigated by them and they have remived my WTC element which is most of my TCs. I work 16 hours term time and btw i have checked with HMRC and i am entitled to them, after looking at my wage slips that i sent in concentrix said i dont work 16 hours i tried to explain to them my pay is averaged over 12 months so i have a regular income so they said it was too late and i had to put in writing i wanted a redecision along with proof of my hour worked from my employer. I sent them off 21st july they were signed for next day then sat in thier mail room backlog for over 2 weeks last i was told they were scanned onto system and one call centre worker told me they would be looked at in the near future. I have been to CAB they told me i was entitled even a man at HMRC advised me to write to my MP of which i did also i have wrote to HMRC, sorry about the long post
Im so angry

mc1970 · 09/08/2015 14:59

Hi sorry new to mumsnet not really sure were i should be posting and on what thread !! I an the same they have taken £120 off me i am so angry

Scousejo1967 · 09/08/2015 16:14

They have not got a clue what they are doing . If they take money off you put in complain and then mandatory reconsideration . Get mp and citizens advice involved . Ask to speak to a manager or phone Hmrc they can deal with you're case once Concentrix has finished . I got a reply yesterday to my complaint letter to Hmrc saying my renewal is being completed for lady year and sorry about the delays etc and if I wasn't happy to go to financial omnibudsman . Please girls even of you're case has closed complain complain to both Hmrc Concentrix mp everyone . Or it will carry on and next year we will be back on the roller coaster

mc1970 · 09/08/2015 16:42

Also as you all know concentrix are impossible to get through to then systems are down so they cant comment, i always ask for advisors names but quite a few times the response is "why do u need my name" ive read they were only given 3 weeks training for the job Dont think they have had any !!

Morgan97 · 09/08/2015 17:03

Scousejo are you a clone of me,I was going to write exactly the same thing lol. mc1970 don't let them intimidate you on the phone,I had the same thing happen to me the why do you want my name? I just told them straight it was for my own records in case anything went wrong with the call and I got cut off. Blimey they know all about us so what's the problem when asking for their name. Don't it make you bloody angry. Totally agree with you what ever training they've had it's not for their social skills that's for sure.
