Wonderful update today - HMRC have told me they can't do anything as concentrix are higher up than them so who am I supposed to go to ??!

Jessbow88 · 04/08/2015 11:36

How are concentrix higher up than them? They have brought them in to deal with their workload and let's face it all of our kids could do a better job!!

twinklefrog · 04/08/2015 11:38

I spoke to the complaints department at HMRC and a guy (manager) said someone will call me back to discuss what's going on but they won't be able to do anything as concentrix are higher up and they go off what concentrix tell them so we've got no hope

Jessbow88 · 04/08/2015 11:40

What an absolute joke!

twinklefrog · 04/08/2015 11:40

This is the 7th week they've had my documents and still won't confirm they've lost them !!!!

Jessbow88 · 04/08/2015 11:46

Gives you so much hope that your personal details are safe but will be your fault if your money gets stopped because they haven't received them!! X

twinklefrog · 04/08/2015 11:46

I've spoken to so many "team leaders" and "managers" who all say that they'll sort it and will phone me but none of them have a clue

twinklefrog · 04/08/2015 11:47

They've stopped over £100 a week already as it is :(

Jessbow88 · 04/08/2015 11:56

Omg that's so bad! I hope they get it sorted for you and soon xx

twinklefrog · 04/08/2015 12:00

Thank you, me too, another manager is supposed to be phoning me today with an update on whether they have located my documents but I don't have high hopes ! Just wish they would let me send another set but they won't :-/

Jessbow88 · 04/08/2015 12:11

It's awful that they make you feel guilty over nothing by sending the letter out in the first place then lose you documents. Hopefully a manager will call you back today and get to the bottom of it xx

Scousejo1967 · 04/08/2015 12:24

What a joke twinkle .. Concentrix are a call centre who are employed by Hmrc . They can do smithing liasse with Concentrix for you. They did with mine but only by email ?!!! Wtf !!!! Ridiculous .try citizens advice and mp lovely

twinklefrog · 04/08/2015 12:59

Will just keep phoning until it is sorted, makes you wonder what would happen if I didn't chase them up, is a joke really, I've done what they asked and provided the information - they're not doing what they're supposed to and they don't care what they're doing to the people they put through this in the meantime. It's taken over my life at the moment :-(

Well letter number 3 I've sent to them this morning as they told me yesterday they wanted it in writing that I wanted my case to go to mandatory reconsideration, so have sent that along with my payslips I've got so far to prove I'm working over 16 hours a week! Part of me just wants to let hmrc put my claim in for my wtc back and leave it at that and just pay the overpayment back, at least that way it would be sorted but I don't see why I should pay a whole years wtc back when 85% of the time I did 16 hours a week and it was only through being ill I lost money! I had an operation in May this year and was off work 7 weeks without any pay at all and had to claim ESA of which because I was getting wtc they only paid me £4.76 a week!! I've told concentrix about this as don't want it coming back at me next renewal so I've even sent the letter from ESA stating what they will pay me with my letter today. When it comes to appealing HMRC said last night I had to do it through them but then concentrix rang me (yes rang me!!!) stating that my case had already gone to mandatory reconsideration and that I do all my appealing through concentrix as they have all the letters and proof, which I thought made sense! Just hoping my wtc is back next week like HMRC have said it should be.

Scousejo1967 · 04/08/2015 13:57

twinklefrog · 04/08/2015 14:46

Have spoken to them ...... Still no update........ Still no response from the scanning company .......... Think I should just give up now ! Why should I keep running around after them when they're in no rush !

Morgan97 · 04/08/2015 14:49

Great news scouse jobs xx

stresshead99 · 04/08/2015 15:58

Good news for Sousejo! I still haven't rang HMRC, I'm not sure I can be bothered with the stress. My payment went in yesterday, (was due today!). I presume my initial renewal went through back in May. A letter from HMRC would be nice but as Concentrix have closed and I'm still getting paid and July 31st deadline has passed, I'm just going to hang fire! I presume my payments would have stopped if there was a problem. I hate ringing officious people. I even hate ringing insurance companies or telephone companies! I am burying my head a bit but when I previously rang HMRC they said it can take 8 weeks and I don't want to make another 0345 phone call just to be told the same. Morgan, it seems, all our girls have came out of this ok. How much money has this Government actually wasted chasing innocent people? I guess it's keeping the guys in Belfast in a job. I still think how stressed they must be!!!!

Morgan97 · 04/08/2015 16:06

Stress when I got my first payment from my new claim it went in on a Thursday then my regular payments now go in on a tues. not sure why you got your payment a day early but maybe they've just changed you payment day. Like I said before its the not knowing that's the worst thing about this. It's frightening even thinking about how much money the stupid government has wasted on this exercise.
