Don't think so baby I think it's your nearest tax credit office mines in Preston n if I had the train fare to get there I'd go with my dd and copies of what I've already sent them n wait for answers but knowing my luck I'd get arrested ha ha

babyalan13 · 23/06/2015 22:34

Auk mine probably in Belfast. Be cheaper phoning them. Must investigate to see were it is.

babyalan13 · 23/06/2015 22:37

Apparently I've an hm inland revenue office about a 30 minute walk from my house! Is that the place to go!? Jes I wouldn't need to phone them!!

Morgan97 · 23/06/2015 22:37

Hello
I received a letter early in May about my childcare costs and the threat to stop my credits if I didn't 'cooperate'. I sent them a letter from each of my care providers - one for term time and one for hols. I included a calculation of my weekly costs as set out on HMRC website. I asked them to confirm receipt. They never did. I called them and they said they had received it and scanned contents and docs and would send it all back to me. They never did. I went away for a few days and when I came back there was a very similar letter asking for bank statements as proof of payment. The 2nd letter had been sent to the wrong postcode and so I had one day to reply or threatened to stop my credits. The period they were asking about was last financial year when I was unemployed so I hadn't even claimed childcare! I called them at lunchtime but gave up after a 30 minute hold. I called again later and held for 1 hour and 4 mins. The bloke who answered spoke too fast so I had to keep asking him to slow down so I could understand. He said the letter was a standard one because they wanted further info. it wasn't. He said they had a different name for one of my chilcare providers to the one I had given them. It turned out they hadn't read the letter from my childcare provider properly. It's my daughter's school and they had the name of the local education authority listed - which was on the letter anyway. Really basic stuff they should know. They said they had what they needed to make a decision and would write to me. I have yet to hear from them. These people are being paid out of our taxes - to harass us. I found an article in the Independent about them. It's here: www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/home-news/people-in-need-at-risk-of-losing-tax-credits-after-being-wrongly-accused-of-cheating-10060745.html

I think the government know what Concentrix do and they're fine with it. They want single mums to feel ill and stressed. They think we are scum. But whatever they think of us it's unacceptable that our children should be affected - which they are.
Will post the outcome of my case when I eventually hear.
Good luck to all my sisters in the struggle xxx

zolabud81 · 24/06/2015 07:44

Babyalan13 did your payment go in ??

babyalan13 · 24/06/2015 07:54

Aye thanks! Zola it did! Big relief! Just wait of next week now! Zola we've started a new thread now! Concentrix part 4!!!

Singlemum123 · 24/06/2015 10:50

On hold 1hr20min+, finally got through. She confirmed there s delay in scanning docs onto their system. My deadline is 1st July. Gave her my special delivery ref no (signed for on 9 June) and she said if by 1July, my docs still not on their system, my payment won't be stopped.

jgrn7030 · 24/06/2015 12:50

Hey Morgan. Yes they stopped my payments the same time as you. My Mp was as useless as I expected him to be. I rather think it was a case of passing the messages through to the HMRC then reporting back to me what was said. That's it. I do have legal assistance thankfully. My case is being looked at internally to try and prevent a tribunal and the information is being requested internally by a senior compliance officer as a matter of urgency. However their idea of urgency and mine differ greatly. I have no money, no food and in just over 3 weeks no home. I am too tired mentally to even care if the truth be known

babyalan13 · 24/06/2015 17:06

Jgrn that's terrible. Was it concentrix the single claim? Have you children. This is definitely getting worse

jgrn7030 · 24/06/2015 18:56

No it was HMRC single claim, 4th investigation for the same one financial link on my credit file for a joint mortgage. All investigated and evidence accepted 3 times previously. I do have 3 children.

Morgan97 · 24/06/2015 19:17

Jgrn like you I had the same letter in 2012 the evidence I sent was accepted but not this time. Get in touch with welfare rights and citizens advice bureau they arranged for food parcels for me n my dd. please feel free to pm me if you wish. Mines gone to appeal now but on my mps advice I've made a new claim but they've replied they want more evidence its never ending but don't give up luv if I can just bout cope anyone can. Big hugs to you oh and a new thread has been started a letter from concentrix part for. Have you looked on tax credit casualties web site?

jgrn7030 · 24/06/2015 20:58

My investigations were 2009, 2011, 2012 and 2015.
Tax Credits Casualties is actually out of date, there has been a lot of changes since that was updated. I to also made a new claim but they wanted all the same stuff again. So I binned it.
2009 they stopped my claim and I appealed and won, 2011 they accepted everything, 2012 my payments were stopped to prompt contact from me, this was challenged by someone I know and the payments were restarted and I was told I would hear from them. They kept me in abeyance until January(10 mths) not a word from them then suddenly out of the blue a finalised award. Then this one. I have been investigated more than enough times now. Repeatedly for the same one entry on my credit file. The MP just doesn't seem to get it. HMRC are not budging. I can only assume that they must think if they investigate me enough times my answers will change, but they won't. Nothing to change. I don't want a relationship with anybody, I can't be bothered. I know I am lucky enough to pay no where near what private rent would normally be, but that is because I dont pay rent, I pay a mortgage and HMRC don't like that. To comment on the amount I pay is disgusting. That is between the mortgage company and myself. Not for them to cast judgement on.

babyalan13 · 24/06/2015 21:02

You not getting any tax credits with 3 children? That really shouldn't be allowed.

Morgan97 · 24/06/2015 21:22

No it's not for them to judge you or anyone else jgrn it's disgusting that they get away with this. We shouldn't be penalised for going out to work but we are! Please go to citizens advice about getting food parcels and they will help you with advice,I really feel for you love,I have one dd and its hard enough keeping her fed n clothed etc x

shazzarooney99 · 25/06/2015 14:04

Cwest88 · 25/06/2015 19:52

Hi everyone I have had a letter today from concentrix saying they need I for about my employment and hours worked ,, it says they need my last 12 month payslips and a letter confirming how many hours I work also bank statements I have got all my wage slips and work have wrote me a letter confirming hours ,, but I only do paper free online banking so I don't have any statements and I hve seen they won't accept printed ones ,,, do u think the wage slips and letter will be enough because I don't understand why they need bank statements when my earnings are all on wage slips x
