If you’re going through this, you’re not alone. I’ll post some links to support organisations shortly, but feel free to post, or just read, whatever you need. Flowers

@SugarCookieMonster totally understand, feels weird to be hoping for a negative but it’s what you need to move forward.

@SugarCookieMonster i did a digital test and boots cheapie three weeks after my surgical management, both were negative. However I used a first response early 7 weeks after surgery and there were super faint lines. I actually thought I was pregnant again and has HCG bloods done which were 3. So not pregnant but enough that the FR had picked it up and not the digital/cheapies. Sorry for your loss xx

Sophiey11 · 24/11/2022 17:30

Hi ladies. I posted a few days ago that I had my peak on a CB digital ovulation test. That was Monday. Yesterday I tested again (even though you don’t need to, I know) and static smiley and positive strip tests again. Today (Thursday) I have had the exact same thing. Still positive. I didn’t think it was possible to have positive ovulation tests for 4 days straight? I’ve done a HPT and it’s negative, so I’m not pregnant. Did anyone else have this after MMC? X

@Sophiey11 have you ever used opks before now? I think some people have a long surge! I’m on a ttc page on Facebook and someone asked the same thing today as remember seeing it, this was the answer they got xx

@Sophiey11 oh wow. I used the last of the Easy@home tests I had left over which I think are quite sensitive. I’ve got some ClearBlue’s to try. I phoned the EPU and they said to test again in 5 days and call them again if still positive. The test line was so faint that I’m hoping it is just the last bit of HCG and not any tissue left over.

ChloeN · 24/11/2022 18:43

@SugarCookieMonster my easy @ home had the faintest line which finally went away when my period arrived, I think sometimes it just lingers annoyingly xx

Mumtooneboy1 · 24/11/2022 20:41

Thank you for the replies. Unfortunately after two failed medical management today I have been for surgery, they think everything was successful and although in some pain I am home now. The responses really made me feel that I wasn’t alone so thank you so much and all the best for those who have commented since with upsetting situations xxxx

B1993 · 25/11/2022 10:40

@ChloeN, I had my scan this morning, which went perfectly. After measuring over a week small at my last two early scans, baby has caught up and then some and is now measuring 12+6. I won't post a picture because I know how triggering that may be for some of you lovely ladies, but I hope that everyone is as blessed as I am to get their rainbows soon! 🌈💖

ChloeN · 25/11/2022 10:58

@Mumtooneboy1 sorry medical management didn’t work, must of been so fustrating but glad you’re all sorted now💕

@B1993 aww what lovely news and fab that baby has had a growth spurt☺️💕

Brokenpancreas94 · 26/11/2022 14:36

@ChloeN @tulipsunday I'm struggling a bit but I'll be okay. Partner is really struggling since the whole being taken to hospital via ambulance he has been signed off of work etc. Hope you're all still doing okay xxx

ChloeN · 27/11/2022 17:43

@Brokenpancreas94 so sorry to hear you’re both struggling, must be really tough😔 sending lots of love❤️

@Sophiey11 hope you’re doing okay lovely xx

tulipsunday · 28/11/2022 08:26

@Brokenpancreas94 sorry to hear you are both having a tough time x

Sophiey11 · 28/11/2022 13:18

Thank you @ChloeN still struggling majorly with anxiety at the moment. I had positive ovulation tests for 4 days. They have now gone faint again and dropped back down. So I’m now in the ‘2 week wait’ which is heightening my anxiety no doubt. But not feeling all that confident as I haven’t had a proper period etc! How are you doing? Xx

Phoenixwings1989 · 01/12/2022 14:09

Well this month I would've been preparing for our arrival at the end of the month. I know it's going to be tough as I've been crying everyday the past two months without restraint. How am I supposed to celebrate Christmas with DD and DH when I feel miserable all of the time?

tulipsunday · 01/12/2022 16:13

Hi all sadly after falling pregnant after a MMC end of the summer and thinking I was 7wks I ended up back at the EPU this morning and have been told that there is just a sac and no baby. They can't officially confirm the miscarriage yet but I know my dates so there is not going to be any positive outcome. Twice in a row is really breaking me 🥲 So sorry you are both having a tough time @Sophiey11 and @Phoenixwings1989 I was so looking forward to Xmas and telling our family and now I just feel crap

Sophiey11 · 01/12/2022 17:31

@tulipsunday I am so sorry to hear this 😔 I had everything crossed for you. Have they said what are the next steps for you? Or are you going to wait to see if anything happens naturally. It’s heartbreaking, it’s just so so unfair. Today my friend from work gave birth to her baby 2 weeks early. I was due in march so we were looking forward to having a few months of maternity together. There is something every day that punches you in the stomach.
I am 9 dpo and testing negative. Although I know it’s early, I’m pretty positive I didn’t catch this cycle. Which has added to my anxiety as the last time I caught the first time we tried. Thinking of you too @Phoenixwings1989 i feel exactly the same. I have no Xmas spirit what so ever. I even hoped maybe I would have got pregnant again before Xmas to at least ease the heartache a bit, but so far no joy xx

tulipsunday · 01/12/2022 17:43

Thank you @Sophiey11. Just a waiting game now to see if/when I pass the sac. They have booked me in for a scan for two weeks time for if nothing happens just to double check the situation hasn't changed but have been warned it's unlikely to be a good outcome. If bleeding gets heavier they will see me sooner and scan again to confirm the miscarriage. I just feel cross that I have had to wait to 7 weeks for this to happen as meant I had built up some hope 🥲

ChloeN · 01/12/2022 17:44

@Sophiey11 i felt the same as you when it didn’t happen first month, I was absolutely gutted and thought there was something wrong, didn’t happen the next month either so fully sent me into panic mode 😔 it’s just awful

Sophiey11 · 01/12/2022 17:55

@tulipsunday just so unfair :( sending you love xx
@ChloeN how many months did it take you to catch again? I’ve had a full hormone profile done since my MMC and it was all normal. My period was almost non existent this month tho, so clearly not quite back to normal yet and guess I’ll just try again next month. I had convinced myself this month I would. I’ve had one sided pain all day today, but I’m starting to think I’m even imagining/exaggerating symptoms because all I want is to get pregnant. Xx

ChloeN · 01/12/2022 18:31

@Sophiey11 3 in the end, I did try in august as well so 4 I suppose but unsure if I actually ovulated that month! How many periods have you had since mmc? Xxx

Sophiey11 · 01/12/2022 18:38

@ChloeN i had MMC in September. Had a really heavy period which passed the last of my clots, then had a super light one this month but was hardly anything xx

tulipsunday · 02/12/2022 16:50

How are you doing @Sophiey11 can you tell me about the full hormone profile you had? Was that through the NHS or privately? Just trying to seek some info regarding tests/next steps to consider now I have had two consecutive miscarriages.

tulipsunday · 02/12/2022 17:03

Hope everyone ok today. Think if my husband says one more thing today 'trying to be positive' I think I will strangle hjm 😂 He thinks he is being helpful. I just wish he just acknowledged that this is shit give me a hug and leave it at that.

Sophiey11 · 02/12/2022 17:40

Hi @tulipsunday still struggling with my anxiety, and still testing negative on my HPT. So doesn’t look like I caught this cycle :(
we paid privately for the tests. I’ve had 3 miscarriages. 2016 & 2019 (unplanned pregnancies, I was on the pill, but some how I caught) they passed naturally and I was very early on. My most recent was in September where I was 12 weeks and a planned pregnancy. MMC, failed medical management and ended up having surgical management. I went to a private clinic in Cardiff with a specialist who specialises in recurrent miscarriage. I had a full hormone profile which checked my follicle stim hormone, LH, testosterone, sex hormones etc. they all came back clear. I also had a Thrombotic Risk Profile and the only thing that identified is that I have the MTHFR gene and will need to take aspirin next time I’m pregnant. As I could conceive okay he didn’t want to check anything with my husband. Hope that helps. If you need anything else let me know xx

ChloeN · 02/12/2022 17:47

@tulipsunday have you both took some time off work?🙁

@Sophiey11 gutted to hear you’re still not feeling great, ttc is one of the worst things I ever had to do I really really struggled
