@Sophiey11 so sorry your feeling like this lovely😔 I have good and bad days, sometimes I’m so positive and others I can’t stop myself crying! I thought the feeling of sadness would start to ease but it just hasn’t xx

@tulipsunday how are you lovely??❤️ how far along are you now? Xxx

tulipsunday · 19/11/2022 11:23

@ChloeN it is such a rollercoaster isn't it - good and bad days. I just had a day this week where I just couldn't concentrate on work as was just thinking/worrying etc. Am 5weeks (nearly 6) have booked an early scan for three weeks today 😬 think time is going to drag. Hope everyone finds some peace this wkend whatever stage you are at xx

tulipsunday · 19/11/2022 11:25

@ChloeN where are you in your current cycle? 🤞 this will be the one xx

ChloeN · 19/11/2022 14:08

@tulipsunday oh how exciting! Should be able to really see the baby by 9 weeks!☺️ have you had many symptoms this time? I’m either 9/10dpo didn’t track properly this cycle, got a bfp this morning 🥹

B1993 · 19/11/2022 14:39

Just wanted to pop on here to say huge congrats to @tulipsunday and @ChloeN (and anyone else with recent BFPs that I may have missed)! 💖🥰 Wishing you long and happy pregnancies! 🌈

tulipsunday · 19/11/2022 19:10

Oh @ChloeN that's brilliant! Not really - tender boobs and some cramps/twinges. Need to eat regularly but not actual nausea. Would rather have a few stronger symptoms for reassurance but trying to remind myself that I didn't with my son and all was well there. Thank you @B1993 how are you doing?

TrulyMiss · 19/11/2022 19:13

Thanks @Sunbird24! I think you're right and I'm still digesting the news. I'm hoping they physical part will end soon and then I can start trying to get my head straight. I'm the meantime I am making the most of being able to have wine again 😂
@Sophiey11 I completely sympathise! Sorry I don't have a magic solution... I had much worse anxiety myself this time (versus when I was pregnant with my son) and that was only after a chemical. I can't imagine how bad the anxiety would be if I went again...

ChloeN · 19/11/2022 19:23

@B1993 @tulipsunday thank you both🥹❤️
Ive been having cramps and sore boobs which is similar to my last pregnancy, I’m just going to try and enjoy it as much as possible!

B1993 · 19/11/2022 19:23

@tulipsunday, I've been on a bit of a rollercoaster with this pregancy after some bright red bleeding and then some lighter red spotting a few different times since then. Luckily, EPAU have offered a couple of scans, and despite the bleeding, both of those have been good!! 🥰😍💗I have my 12 week scan this Friday so hoping nothings changed since my last scan, but I can't help but worry 😓 Thank you for asking!

RE symptoms, my pregnancy with DS was very much the same - only symptom was fatigue and that was it!! This one has been a bit different with nausea and slightly tender boobs but still mild, I think, compared to some!

B1993 · 19/11/2022 19:25

@ChloeN I had cramps until around 7 weeks with this pregnancy and, from what I can remember, they were much more intense than my first pregnancy! It's hard not to worry though, isn't it?!

ChloeN · 19/11/2022 19:47

@B1993 how exciting that you’re almost at 12 weeks☺️☺️ let me know how your scan goes I’m sure it’ll be perfect❤️ yes definitely!! I know cramping is so normal so if I didn’t have any I’d probably worry about that as well🤣

Mumtooneboy1 · 20/11/2022 16:50

Looking for some support and guidance.

I have been monitored for three weeks having scans to see if growth of baby, this week it was decided not enough growth or heartbeat and was showing as a missed miscarriage. Yesterday at 13:15pm I took four tablets in structured by the doctors orally with sickness tablets. I had cramping, nausea and diarrhoea and absolutely no bleeding. It’s now been 24 hours with some twinges but just hoping someone can relate and tell me hang on in there. Did anyone else take the tablets and it take a bit longer than the advised 4-6 hours. I’ve read lots on forums about it never working and needing a second dose. But just wanted to see if there is some hope yet after a truly hideous time. Thanks xx

ChloeN · 20/11/2022 17:09

@Mumtooneboy1 slightly different but I started to bleed but no pregnancy tissue come out. I had to have it in hospital so was sent home to wait a week and try again, 3 days later with some mild cramping it all came away so sometimes I do think it takes a little longer to work especially if you’ve not bled prior!

sorry for your loss and sending lots of love ❤️

TrulyMiss · 20/11/2022 17:36

@Mumtooneboy1 I'm on Ireland so it might be different but the leaflet I got said to call them if nothing happened. They also gave me a second lot to take 2 days later to minimise the chance of needing further surgical management. I would give them a ring. Hope you're doing ok otherwise.

99pctpractice · 22/11/2022 09:30

Hello everyone. I was 6 weeks yesterday and had a lot of bleeding in the evening and some mega stomach cramps. Have a scan booked for noon today but not feeling optimistic. This will be my third miscarriage 😭 this time was with a donor egg so I really thought it could be the one, and I'm feeling really angry and sad that we're back here again. Also gutted that I still have pregnancy symptoms so am feeling really sick as well as crampy. Sorry for the big moan, i feel like I want to scream at the sea but instead I'm stuck in London in an office...

Sophiey11 · 22/11/2022 12:37

Congratulations @ChloeN sp pleased for you and sending you loads of good luck. Thank you so much for the ovulation advise too. I have been tracking it twice a day as you suggested, and yesterday I had a positive strip and smiley on the digital. Hoping this will be my cycle. Good job I took your advise as my app says I’m not due to ovulate till next week, so I would have missed it! Even if I don’t get pregnant this cycle at least I know my body is getting back to normal. Thanks again.

Sophiey11 · 22/11/2022 12:41

@MamaW05 @tulipsunday @TrulyMiss Thank you so much ladies. It’s so cruel in the world that we all have to go through this, physically, mentally and emotionally it’s just the worst. I feel like the world is against me having a baby at this point.
yesterday I felt a lot better as I had a positive strip ovulation test and a smiley on the clear blue ovulation tests. Yet this morning I woke up BAM awful anxiety yet again. Before I was always convinced it would take getting pregnant again to stop my anxiety, but now I just feel I’ll have awful anxiety next time I get pregnant again as I’ll just be waiting to miscarry again. It’s a vicious circle :(

Sophiey11 · 22/11/2022 12:44

@Mumtooneboy1 so sorry for your loss. I had missed miscarriage and was given the tablets to ‘start things’ that was on a Thursday and I was sent home with anti sickness, pain killers, pads etc. I had NOTHING no bleeding, no cramping and basically spent the weekend panicking. I was admitted to hospital on the Saturday for further medication. Long story short I was one of the few where medical management failed. I had 16 tablets in total both vaginally and orally. I ended up being in hospital for 5 days and they finally agreed surgery would be the best option. It’s not for everyone I know, but looking back I wish I had the surgery straight away. If they do offer it to you if you’re still not passing enough, I would recommend it. Hope you’re okay xx

ChloeN · 22/11/2022 14:20

@Sophiey11 thank you☺️ ah yay I’m so glad you got your peak, sending you lots of luck that this is your cycle🥰xx

Brokenpancreas94 · 22/11/2022 15:45

I've not really been on here much so sorry I haven't posted sooner but congratulations @ChloeN and @tulipsunday and also anyone else I may have missed. Wishing you loads of luck! ❤️

tulipsunday · 22/11/2022 17:51

Thank you @Brokenpancreas94 how are you doing? Great about peak @Sophiey11 really good sign that your body is regulating 🤞this is the month xx

ChloeN · 22/11/2022 19:13

@Brokenpancreas94 thanks lovely! Been wondering how you are? Xx

SugarCookieMonster · 24/11/2022 07:57

Can I ask how long it took for anyone to get a negative test after surgical management?

Had my surgery 3 weeks ago and got a really faint positive this morning. We’re not trying again so I know it’s not a new pregnancy. I’m debating whether to keep testing over the next few days or call the unit.

Sunbird24 · 24/11/2022 08:09

@SugarCookieMonster I’d test again in a couple of days just to be sure, then give them a call. Only on my third one with physical intervention did I still have retained tissue and need another go. Don’t worry if you do, they’ll try medical first, and only if that doesn’t work will they suggest another surgery. My consultant said that doing two in the same cycle was no higher risk, and that’s where I ended up but it was absolutely fine

Thank you @Sunbird24. I was really hoping I could just draw a line under it all today so feel very deflated. I’ve had to buy some more pregnancy tests which I didn’t want to do can’t bloody afford so that’s annoyed me too!
