@Sophiey11 glad your bleeding has stopped! Mines still going 😩 not as heavy and it's weird browny/red discharge now. Im so tired 😴. I have a follow up with the GP on Monday in regards to my mental health but im going to ask about my bloods as im certain that all this blood I've lost will have caused my iron levels to plummet! I haven't had a whole day without bleeding since before 24th September!!

@Sunbird24 so sorry your last transfer didn't work, sending lots of love xx

@ChloeN I hope you're doing okay, lovely xx

@BlahBlah36 so sorry for your loss xxx
I was really nervous for the internal scan too, mine did hurt but that was only because I have lichen sclerosis.. however it wasn't overly painful, maybe just more uncomfortable than anything. The examination just after passing the baby was more painful/uncomfortable. I'm surprised they didn't remove the scanner thing whilst waiting for someone to come and give a second opinion, they did with me. It's horrible, I can still remember that day 21st September so vividly, sitting in the waiting room with my partner talking about starting to buy things for the baby after Christmas, the possibility of names, and then 10 minutes after it all came crashing down.

@MrsC2018 so sorry for your loss xxx
I have no advice to you either as I've longed for another baby for about 2 years now but partner wasn't so keen on the idea and then when he came round to it (slightly) and I fell pregnant after 2 months trying and this happens, I'm now terrified of going through it all again, but long so much for a baby. It is so hard. Sending you lots of love ❤️ xxxx

ChloeN · 28/10/2022 18:21

@Brokenpancreas94 hey lovely, can’t believe you’re still bleeding 😖 you must be so so fed up!!

@MrsC2018 so sorry to hear of your loss lovely! No advice but just wanted to send lots of love xx

Brokenpancreas94 · 28/10/2022 18:25

@ChloeN on Tuesday I thought I'd stopped which would have been a week after passing the baby so I stupidly didn't wear a pad, went to the toilet and then there was blood on my knickers 😩. So fed up, it's unreal!! I don't know when to expect a period or whether I'll get a break from bleeding or just go straight into a period 😩🙄xxx

Sophiey11 · 28/10/2022 19:39

@Brokenpancreas94 i was still bleeding for 5 weeks. I have had a full blood count as we are going through private tests and my B12 is low and I’m anaemic. So I’m contacting my GP next week to see where I go from there! Hope yours isn’t the same :( my bleeding led me into my period, I passed quite a few clots during that time and then the bleeding just came to a stop randomly. Maybe yours will be the same. Xx

Brokenpancreas94 · 28/10/2022 19:52

@Sophiey11 it is looking like mine could be the same, I'm on week 5 now 😩. I had bloods done at the hospital last week but they didn't give me the results but I'm assuming they did a full blood count, I'll ask my GP Monday if it's on my medical record (usually it is from past experience). Xxx

tulipsunday · 28/10/2022 20:47

@BlahBlah36 hope the wait until the surgery goes ok. That's good you have your parents to cover your son he will be absolutely fine.

@MrsC2018 so so sorry for your losses that must be extremely tough ❤️

Marmite83 · 28/10/2022 20:48

@MrsC2018 I'm so sorry for your loss, that's heartbreaking that you lost two babies after good 12 week scans. I also have two children already too but fell pregnant, unplanned, in April. We were getting our heads around it and starting to feel really positive about having a third (although we were very aware it might not happen due to two previous losses) and then I lost it. Ever since, I've been yearning to be pregnant again, even though rationally I know we hadn't planned a third for good reasons that still exist. As time goes on the yearning is lessening and I'm moving forward gradually. I'm not saying that you shouldn't try again because that's a decision only you can make but if you decide not to, hopefully the yearning will lessen for you in time too!

Sophiey11 · 28/10/2022 22:04

I think I may have jinxed myself. I have just had some bleeding out of no where. I thought I’d had my period. So I don’t know what this is :(

BlueMumma2018 · 28/10/2022 22:08

Just had an erpc under general today at 10 weeks. Had experienced full blown miscarriage and spent time in hospital before. Unfortunately the sac remained so needed the surgery. It was an ivf pregnancy so it’s been a long old slog and very painful.

Looking to see how people are feeling now the worst bit is over? I feel ok but wondering if I will crumble.

also open to anyone with questions who are facing the same. If any good can come from this it’s supporting others ❤️

Brokenpancreas94 · 28/10/2022 22:25

@Sophiey11 oh no! This is how I think I will be though! Bleeding that just comes out of nowhere! 😩😢 xxx

Brokenpancreas94 · 28/10/2022 22:32

@BlueMumma2018 I have good and bad days, and it still hurts seeing other babies, or pregnant women who were either around the same due date as me or a few weeks after, it hurts/crushes me. I was told there was no heartbeat back on 21st September and then I thought I passed the baby a week or so after that so I was starting to slowly come to terms with it, until last week I was taken to hospital by ambulance because of the pain and I ended up passing the baby there so that just set me back 😢😭. Sorry for your loss ❤️ xxx

Tawny2022 · 29/10/2022 09:58

Hello everyone, looking for some advice. I’m having a miscarriage and it’s been nothing more than a heavy period with some small clots for 1 week. Yesterday I had some brown spotting with no pain and nothing today either. I was 6 weeks when it stopped growing, which was about 3 weeks ago.

Is it possible it’s all over? It seems completely different to what I have heard an anecdotally and at the EPU when I had the initial scan. I tried to get back into the EPU to confirm either way but they’re refusing to see me again for another week and a half. I’d like to move on, so I am thinking of testing and if negative then start trying again.

BlueMumma2018 · 29/10/2022 10:07

@Brokenpancreas94 hi lovely. I can totally relate to this, I can be completely fine but seeing a quishy baby in a pram brings me to tears every time. I was out with my husband the other day and after seeing lots of babies I went into a weird panic attack. Hi I’m definitely thinking about going to counselling to try and help this. I’ve unfollowed every person on SM who has a baby or is pregnant. I know it seems crazy but it’s too much at times.
sorry to hear you had to go back and had to go through it twice. I hope you had good care and support. Chat anytime xxxx

BlueMumma2018 · 29/10/2022 10:12

@Tawny2022 i recently experienced this. I was convinced it was all done but sadly the sac was still there. They booked me in for an erpc and in the wait I bled more but it still didn’t budge. Hope this is not the case for you but I just felt so convinced that I was so upset when I had the scan and saw it still there. I would remain cautious until you are scanned. Sending you strength in this hard time xxx

Tawny2022 · 29/10/2022 10:21

@BlueMumma2018 thank you so much for replying. It seems maybe I am being overly optimistic. Is such a long wait to go back to the EPU, I really wish I could have management options before then but they are making me wait.

tulipsunday · 29/10/2022 16:32

@Tawny2022 It could be over. I was 8wks 2 so clots were bigger but it wasn't particularly painful/traumatic in the physical sense. I had the same frustration of being at home and wanting surgery but I am glad now that I ended up having it at home so hopefully some comfort if you end up having it at home.

ChloeN · 29/10/2022 17:12

@Tawny2022 Mine wasnt too bad either, normal period type bleeding then one day where the pregnancy tissue come out, but there wasn’t loads at all!

@Sophiey11 @Brokenpancreas94 sorry to hear your both still bleeding!😔 you must both be so frustrated by now!!

@tulipsunday how you doing lovely? Where in your cycle are you? X

Sophiey11 · 29/10/2022 17:25

@ChloeN thank you. Today I had a scan at a private fertility clinic. My uterus is completely clear and I’ve passed everything. So presuming this may be another period and my cycle is just all over the place, as this is the first month since MMC. Hope you’re doing okay xx

ChloeN · 29/10/2022 17:38

@Sophiey11 oh that’s such good news bet you’re so relieved☺️ are you feeling ready to ttc once the bleeding finally goes? Xx

tulipsunday · 30/10/2022 07:22

@Sophiey11 that's great a relief for you.

@Brokenpancreas94 hope you are ok. Can relate to those feelings. It can just hit you I was at a party last night with people who were pregnant and those thoughts of why is your baby ok and mine wasn't were creeping in 🥲

@ChloeN day 19 of cycle again just flashing smileys and no static smiley or any fertile signs so am guessing not ovulated again. May do the cheap strips next month and see if any progression. Last cycle was only 18 days so hoping will be a bit longer this month and can regulate a bit. How are you?

Tawny2022 · 30/10/2022 09:47

@tulipsunday @ChloeN thanks for replying :) still nothing happening so maybe it is done, i guess I’ll wait and see what my scan says.

Sophiey11 · 30/10/2022 10:25

@ChloeN yes I am hoping to start TTC next month when I have my first proper period. I had awful Hyperemesis on my last pregnancy and was hospitalised 3 times in a space of 10 weeks. So knowing that is likely to happen again I want to try and get it over with as soon as possible.

Thank you @tulipsunday its been a long 6 weeks x

ChloeN · 30/10/2022 10:42

@tulipsunday thats so gutting😔😔 I watched a YouTube video of a couple ttc and she never got peaks on the clearblue but did on the cheap strips so definitely worth a go! No success this month, was feeling so down but have started some new vitamins so helpfully they’ll help. If it doesn’t happen by new year going to have some private tests to make sure everything’s working okay!

@Sophiey11 oh no😖😖 hopefully it happens quickly anyway!

somethingluscious · 30/10/2022 18:17

@BlueMumma2018 the week after was the worst for me & I thought I was doing ok, but had a bit of a melt down the following weekend too.

I am about 9dpo now and once my bbt temperatures dropped down my cycle seems to have gone back to normal. I started taking supplements which seems to have helped. Was planning to do day 2-5 bloods if we don't get a BFP this cycle. My cycles can be erratic so I have to try to hit any fertile windows. Once I get further into a new cycle things settle down for me emotionally, but it helps getting into and past the next one to provide a greater sense of closure from the last loss.

I think with IVF it could be harder as the process is longer and it's higher stakes. Be kind to yourself mainly is probably the most important thing.

@ChloeN the easyathome LH tests work best for me.

Brokenpancreas94 · 31/10/2022 11:33

@tulipsunday yes I have them feelings a lot! I hope they don't last too long, I know they will come back next April though around my due date.
I am still so terrified to get pregnant again!

@ChloeN I have finally stopped bleeding I think! I've gone a whole day with no sign of blood! So relieved! Spoke to my GP today as well and the bloods that were taken when I was in hospital on the 18th didn't show that I'm anaemic and she doesn't think they would have changed much in that short period of time, so I guess that's a plus! Still feel drained though but she said that's understandable after everything!

I think I possibly ovulated yesterday, I had the discharge that I usually get around the time I ovulate, it was slightly pink though but putting that down to still having blood in me from the miscarriage xx
