If you’re going through this, you’re not alone. I’ll post some links to support organisations shortly, but feel free to post, or just read, whatever you need. Flowers

@BabyPip96 yes, it's defo easy to blame ourselves isn't it 😢 it will get easier soon, it's still very hard. I think that's the problem with me, I think it will maybe get easier once the bleeding finally stops. Xxx

@ChloeN I will update what happens on Wednesday xxx

@tulipsunday thank you, I will be, I just want this to be all over with 😢x

Brokenpancreas94 · 18/10/2022 08:54

@ChloeN @tulipsunday just an update. The worst contractions I've had started at 4am, my partner called 111 and they sent an ambulance as I was soaking through pads, and vomiting And whilst In a&e in a side room on my own I've literally just passed the baby on the bed 😢 I feel better now but so upset. Just waiting for the a&e doctor to talk to the EPU doctor to decide if need anything else doing. Xxx

ChloeN · 18/10/2022 09:34

@Brokenpancreas94 aww lovely😔 that sounds horrible, hope you’re holding up okay❤️ I suppose in a way it’s a relief because you finally have some closure xxx

Brokenpancreas94 · 18/10/2022 12:20

@ChloeN I'm home now, they examined my cervix and took swabs because of how long it's gone on for. My cervix is nearly closed as well so they think everything is out, but to go for my scan tomorrow, and to not let them turn me away as apparently they're likely to do that xxx

tulipsunday · 18/10/2022 17:50

@Brokenpancreas94 that must have been quite scary. Hopefully some relief that they think everything is ok. I definitely started to feel better once the physical side was over. Glad you are home.

Brokenpancreas94 · 18/10/2022 18:14

@tulipsunday very scary, I was on my own too because my partner had to be with our 6 year old. It was crazy that as soon as I passed it I was feeling a lot better. Even the doctor said you look like you've perked up a bit. I'm nervous for tomorrow and the scan, more nervous of them turning me away than anything. I keep seeing the image of it just laying on the bed in my mind though 😭

ChloeN · 18/10/2022 19:19

@Brokenpancreas94 let us know how it goes tomorrow😔 sending you lots of love xx

tulipsunday · 18/10/2022 19:30

That would be awful if they turned you away after all you have been through @Brokenpancreas94 🤞 will be ok let us know how you get on tomorrow xx

Brokenpancreas94 · 18/10/2022 19:41

@ChloeN @tulipsunday thank you both! 🥰
Today's experience has made me even more terrified for future pregnancies 😢 xxx

Brokenpancreas94 · 19/10/2022 10:54

@ChloeN @tulipsunday @B1993 morning ladies, hope you're doing okay. I've just got home from my scan and everything is out all pregnancy tissue is out and all that's left is a few blood clots and blood which they said is on its way out. My womb looks healthy as well, it's a massive relief but I feel traumatised after yesterday, every time I close my eyes I can just see it on the hospital bed. I've got to do a pregnancy test on the 8th November xxx

ChloeN · 19/10/2022 11:01

Hey lovely, won’t let me tag you for some reason! But glad to hear everything is out, I had a few clots left to come out when I was scanned too but it didn’t take long! Do you wish in a way you’d never seen it? I didn’t see mine but sometimes wish I had!

B1993 · 19/10/2022 11:11

@Brokenpancreas94, I've just read your update... I'm so incredibly sorry that you had to go through that!! I'm sure it's a relief to know the end is in sight now. I wonder if they would offer you any counselling as I'm sure that experience isn't easily processed.

Sophiey11 · 19/10/2022 13:57

Hi @Brokenpancreas94 im glad that this has all improved for you. This is also the news I had at the EPU, so I feel slightly better knowing someone else also had this. I went on Friday and was told I need a pass a ‘grape size clot’ I seem to have passed this, this morning with a lot of blood. So I’m hoping that’s it now, hopefully it will be just as quick for you too xx

Brokenpancreas94 · 19/10/2022 15:41

@Sophiey11 I think I have a few clots to pass still, she did show me the screen and my womb but it didn't mean much to me. My bleeding has reduced loads today it's quite light now compared to yesterday xxx

@B1993 I have no idea if there is any counselling, I was having a google last night and there have been a few articles about the lack of mental support after having a miscarriage, my partner is currently on a wait list for therapy, he had an assessment back in July and probably won't be seen until next year, so doubt it would be any different for me. I will keep it in mind though! Thank you xx

@ChloeN Honestly I am not sure because I think if I hadn't saw it then I would be the same as you and wished that I had seen it. It didn't look like a baby though, it was in the sac still so couldn't see anything but i didn't look at it in detail. My partner kept saying to me "you shouldn't have looked" but it was hard not to because I was waiting for about 5 minutes for someone to come and help me, so it was just there. It was bigger than I thought it would be too. xxx

B1993 · 19/10/2022 15:53

@Brokenpancreas94, Have you considered contacting Tommy's? I think they have a contact number and offer support for people who have suffered miscarriage. I do think there's a waiting list, so could potentially be some time before you get anywhere, but might be worth reaching out regardless.

B1993 · 19/10/2022 15:56

I've found this page in Tommy's if it's of interest to you (or anyone on here!!): www.tommys.org/baby-loss-support/miscarriage-information-and-support/support-after-miscarriage/getting-more-support

There's a phone number to speak to a support midwife free of charge and I lest of other charges and organisations, too.

Brokenpancreas94 · 19/10/2022 15:56

@B1993 Oh, do they? I might have a look into that! Thank you! xx

B1993 · 19/10/2022 15:58

Sorry, so many typos in that last message - I hope you still manage to get the gist of what I was trying to say 🤦🏻‍♀️

**list of other charities is what the bottom bit says

ChloeN · 19/10/2022 16:01

@Brokenpancreas94 its hard isn’t it, if mine had come out and it was to easy see I would of definitely looked but I’m not sure whether it would of helped!xxx

Brokenpancreas94 · 19/10/2022 18:06

@B1993 that's okay! I didn't see your other message until just now as I think you posted it the same time as I posted my message! I understand what you meant though 🥰 thank you xx

Brokenpancreas94 · 19/10/2022 18:07

@ChloeN I'm hoping it will get better over time and because it was only yesterday it's still so raw? Which is why I remember it so vividly! Xxx

tulipsunday · 19/10/2022 18:24

@Brokenpancreas94 such a tough thing to go through but glad the scan went well and that physically things are looking better.

Brokenpancreas94 · 23/10/2022 21:58

@tulipsunday thank you. Hope you're doing okay! Xx

It's been 5 days now and I passed some biggish clots yesterday morning I think it was, bleeding has calmed down ALOT now, which I'm thankful for because these sanitary towels are really irritating me!! (I have lichen sclerosis!) anyway, I now feel like I'm wet down there? I thought maybe it was just blood but when I wipe there's hardly anything there the same as there's not really anything on my pads! Anyone else had this? I'm not particularly worried just find it weird xx

ChloeN · 23/10/2022 22:04

@Brokenpancreas94 i really feel for you still bleeding! I’m so hoping that you’re nearing the end xxx

@tulipsunday how are you lovely?? You back trying again this cycle? Xxx

Brokenpancreas94 · 23/10/2022 22:26

@ChloeN it's been just over a month now I think that I've been bleeding it really is crazy! I still can't believe it took 8 weeks for me to pass the baby, I know 4 of them weeks I had no idea baby had stopped growing but it's crazy xxx
