@ChloeN @tulipsunday hi guys, bleeding had calmed down a bit yesterday but it’s started up again and had some small bits of tissue, it’s not heavy. I just did a pregnancy test and it’s positive still, not sure what to do, have I tested too early because I’m still bleeding? Xx

@Brokenpancreas94 hey lovely, after the bleeding stopped mine still took at least a week if not longer to go negative! On sensitive tests it was there for ages xxx

@ChloeN do you think it's worth calling EPU tomorrow to let them know? I think I've been bleeding for 16 days now, granted the first couple of days were only really light brown spotting xx

@Brokenpancreas94 they gave me 3 weeks after bleeding started to get a negative test, if it hadn’t gone negative by then I would of had to have a scan for retained products!
Might be worth a ring though just to see what they say! Xxx

@ChloeN yes, I will call them tomorrow. It will be 3 weeks Wednesday since my scan, gone so fast 😢. My daughter told me earlier that a girl in her class is getting a baby brother, and I was just thinking that should be you soon announcing to your friends that you're going to having a new sibling 😭xxx

@Brokenpancreas94 my bleeding lasted ages! Around 3 3.5 weeks I'd say! Bless your little one 😞 I'd be having my early gender scan around now but instead I'm sitting here waiting for my fucking period 🙄 life's shit and cruel x

@candycrush789 I reckon mine is going to last about that as well then. Life really is shit and cruel 😭x

Hi @Brokenpancreas94 i tested negative on week 3. However I am now on week 4 and still bleeding. Sorry for your loss xx

Sorry to everyone experiencing bleeding or generally a horrible time. I thought I would be ovulating around now but don't think I am as didn't get a static smiley on the clear blue purple tests and now I have run out 😬 none of the usual physical signs either really frustrating hope I am wrong.

@tulipsunday what CD are you? I ovulated a day later last month and think it might be 2 days later this one! Xx

@ChloeN That's interesting I am CD 18. May just be late though just not having the physical signs I normally get so feel a bit deflated. Guess have to see... how are you doing?

@tulipsunday did you track before mc?? I have a really sudden rise in LH so can never predict till the day!

@tulipsunday @ChloeN did you both wait for your first period to start tracking again. I am 4 weeks post surgery and no idea when to expect my period as I’m still bleeding from MMC. Unless it is actually a period

@Sophiey11 I didn't do any ovulation tests before first period after MMC but noted down a few things in a cycle tracking app.

Yes I used to track @ChloeN before and used to be quite confident I was ovulating even the months I didn't conceive but now I just don't know 😬

@Sophiey11 I did track, but think the HCG left in my system was giving me really high results! that’s a bit of a hard one if you haven’t stopped bleeding at all!

@tulipsunday thats so annoying, and just gutting when all you want is to concieved again! Hoping for you that’ll you ovulate soon xx

@Sophiey11 hope the bleeding starts to settle. Thanks @ChloeN I seem to be on my period again meaning last cycle was 18 days 😬 guess explains why the ovulation tests seemed to not be working a few days ago and why I was getting hormonal spots etc. Bit annoying but guess it will just take time for things to settle. I'm not great at being patient though 😂

I started TTC in June and since then I've had 2 early MC my first at 7 weeks and my second at 5 weeks.

Both pregnancy's had started the same way, brown discharge, quite a lot over a week or so in all different forms, liquid, mucus. stringy. (Sorry TMI).

Also in both pregnancies as well as the discharge I've always had this alongside cramps, not particularly dull aches as is suggested as 'normal'. These feel just like period cramps and back ache. I've tried to research this further but to no avail.

Friends and family who i speak to are always a bit baffled as to why my pregnancies always seem to start this way. I've tried talking to nurses in my local EPU but again get no explanations :(

Hi all. Today I had a scan with the EPU as I am still bleeding, they confirmed there are some clots there that I need to pass. It has been nearly 5 weeks since I had surgical management. I am not bleeding heavy so they don’t want to over medical or surgical management at this point. I can’t believe this is still going on.
i am so mentally and physically drained, I don’t feel like I am ever going to make progress. Did anyone else experience this? I did pass 2 clots last weekend. So I know it can happen naturally etc. I just didn’t think it would go on this long.

@CharlotteW692 so sorry you are going through this. I didn’t experience the same symptoms as yourself however the consultant did say to me today that anything brown is discharge and not blood. I did however have the cramps and back ache. Doctors/midwives told me this is stretching pain etc! I used to sit with a hot water bottle which would help.

@CharlotteW692 so sorry for your losses, horrible to happen once let alone twice😔 it’s rubbish they won’t start helping until after 3 losses!

@Sophiey11 that sounds awful!! I was so desperate for mine to be over so I could just move on😔 did they say it was tissue you had to pass or just blood clots?xx

Hi @ChloeN they think it’s blood clots. They believe the surgery got everything out. So I’m not sure how I have these now :(

@Sophiey11 when I went to be rescanned the lady told me I had a couple of blood clots still to come out and they didn’t seem concerned at all! Tbh I can’t remember seeing actual clots come out after that, might of done tho, but I stopped bleeding then got negative tests and period came as usual! I don’t think blood clots is as much of a concern as pregnancy tissue being retained xx

@ChloeN did you have surgical management ? I’ve had 3 negative pregnancy tests. So I’m hoping it’s not pregnancy tissue anyway! How long did you bleed for?

@Sophiey11 no medical management! I think it was maybe 2 weeks in total?? If there’s only a few clots left to come out I’m sure it won’t be too much longer! Does surgery normally make people bleed for a bit longer? Xx

@ChloeN i had medical management for 5 days, but it kept failing. I then had the surgery on day 6. I was under the impression the surgery meant healing time was quicker. But trying to get better info out of the hospital is a nightmare
