@candycrush789 me too, fell pregnant first time trying, I feel like it adds more pressure to fall on this cycle also! Been doing ovulation tests for the first time xx

candycrush789 · 12/09/2022 20:33

@ChloeN I think it's because I want to make sure I'm pregnant soon, by Christmas and defo by when ny due date in April would of been 🤦‍♀️x

tulipsunday · 12/09/2022 21:22

Sounds like you both have a good chance of falling pregnant soon. I am just trying to remind myself that before I was pregnant with my April baby I was fully expecting it to take longer to conceive and would have been delighted with a baby later in the year. Therefore I just need to try and not get too obsessive as to dates now... 😬

candycrush789 · 12/09/2022 22:25

@tulipsunday will you he ttcing again soon or are.you already? Sorry If you've said already 🤦‍♀️ been so much to take in. I want to try again, more then anything but I don't know if I'm strong enough to go through this again 🤦‍♀️ it might never happen again but it could well do and thats what I'm scared of!

tulipsunday · 13/09/2022 13:35

We will be TTC again from now I think now it seems there isn't a need to wait. We are lucky to have a lovely two year old boy but I feel like there is meant to be another member of our family and I want to keep trying for now to see if we can make that happen. The fear is there for me too that it might happen again. However, the majority of friends who I know have miscarried have gone on to have a child/children following which gives me some hope. Totally understand though for mental health and other reasons why for others the right choice is to stop.

tulipsunday · 14/09/2022 19:49

Hope everyone is ok. I called the miscarriage association today. Trying to conceive again was on my mind and I just wanted to talk things through. Lady was really helpful so would recommend if anyone feels they need support.

candycrush789 · 14/09/2022 21:59

@tulipsunday Hope you are OK. Today is the best I've felt since the whole thing, I'm not 100% better but beginning to see improvements. Spoke to husband today and were going to try after my 1st period..when ever it will come. We hsve both said though if this happens again we won't try anymore and we will stick with just the 2 we have.

Are they good? I was thinking of phoning them but wasn't really sure what to say and didn't want to stay crying down the phone!

tulipsunday · 15/09/2022 09:42

So glad you are starting to feel a little better @candycrush789 think it helps doesn't it having a bit of a plan. After first period will be what we are going to be aiming for too. Yes the helpline lady was lovely I imagine lots cry down the phone so wouldn't worry about that.

Sadly we had some bad news yesterday about the health of one of my husband's parents so feels like we are back in a challenging time with the tables turned a bit of me needing to be strong to support him.

ChloeN · 15/09/2022 10:52

@tulipsunday @candycrush789 Hope you’re both feeling okay!
hopefully you’ll both get your period soon!
Ive just had my first proper ovulation since the mc, I’m panicking we didn’t dtd enough so now I’ve missed out! (We missed 1 day of the fertile week, thing I’m overreacting 🤦🏻‍♀️) Never felt like this before, feel like I’m out this month already even though I’m only about 1dpo😂

tulipsunday · 15/09/2022 11:38

@ChloeN you certainly have a good chance 😊 Hope the two week wait goes quickly for you. I remember that always dragged!

ChloeN · 15/09/2022 12:21

@tulipsunday thank you! I won’t test unless my period is late, seems like forever away though 🤣

candycrush789 · 15/09/2022 19:00

@ChloeN I hope this month is your month!!!🤞🤞

Can I have some advice please ladies is this normal. My bleeding slows right down when I'm inactive and over night, the minute I walk a bit or do stuff my bleeding starts up all over again bright red 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️ I've phoned epu and they said it was normal, but a few people I've spoke to said it isn't? I can't just rest all day and do nothing, I have two children to tend to and its just getting annoying! I know it's only been 8 days, wouldn't mind bleeding it's just only seems to be really bad when I'm doing stuff which obviously isn't ideal 🤦‍♀️

ChloeN · 15/09/2022 19:41

@candycrush789 that sounds normal to me! I went back to work straight away so I was moving around and I did bleed for quite a while! It would seem to completely stop and then restart again the next day. Is it really heavy still? X

blueberry23 · 15/09/2022 19:41

Hi everyone

Just joining as feeling completely lost after two back to back miscarriages trying conceive #2.

Started trying in April and have fallen pregnant in May and July, miscarried at 5 weeks both times.

I have progesterone ready for next time and have self prescribed aspirin. Anything else I should be doing/trying?

I have recently started Levothyroxine as my TSH was ever so slightly elevated at 2.8 and we have a family history of thyroid issues so hoping this helps.

I take pregnacare conception multivits.

I only stopped breastfeeding in July so hoping that may have solved the issue too fingers crossed.

I just feel so sad today. We tried again this morn though and got a BFN so a bit disheartened. Though AF hasn't arrived yet and is now late probably cos of the progesterone supplements which is annoying.

Just hate this emotional rollercoaster. I feel so guilty on my gorgeous little boy who needs a happy mummy. I just feel like the worst person ever. Lots of guilt when I should just be grateful. I find no happiness in anything really at the moment.

I just want to scream 😫

Wow feels better for writing all of that down!!

candycrush789 · 15/09/2022 19:43

@ChloeN not really heavy, just bright red with some clots. Its brown or next to nothing then I'm moving around and it's there on my pad again and when I wipe 🤦‍♀️

@blueberry23 I'm so sorry for your loss, we're all here for you xx

tulipsunday · 15/09/2022 20:46

@blueberry23 so sorry for your losses. I have a little boy as well and understand that feeling that you should be happy/grateful even though you feel empty.

I remember my mum just simply saying it is a sad thing and it is ok to be sad as you wanted that baby and that helped to take away some of that guilt after my miscarriage a few weeks ago.

BasKaro · 15/09/2022 20:48

Reading the posts but unsure how to tag x
Ive ended back in hospital with a possible pulmonary embolism, just sitting in the old people's ward waiting for results.
I am too focusing on getting pregnant, waiting for post mortem results first but not sure i want to wait so long (about 20 weeks) as I have this need to be pregnant before the due date (jan 16). My bmi is also veeery high so going to try and lose about 10% ,hopefully coincide that with some results to get pregnant asap. I feel its the only way past the loss and pain

tulipsunday · 15/09/2022 20:50

@candycrush789 I had that during the main few days of my miscarriage. Bleeding slowed down when I laid down and every time I got up I would have a gush. Like you I couldn't keep resting so just had to be up sometimes and deal with the increased blood. I would speak to a medical person though if you are concerned about the amount of blood loss.

tulipsunday · 15/09/2022 21:01

@BasKaro sorry to hear you are in hospital good luck for the results.

tulipsunday · 19/09/2022 19:27

Hope everyone is doing ok. Would have been my 12wk scan this week which is a bit triggering but I am feeling ok generally.

ChloeN · 19/09/2022 19:34

@tulipsunday I get like that, would of found out the gender this weekend… so many people seem to be pregnant and due the same time I was meant to be too

tulipsunday · 19/09/2022 20:00

I know it does feel like that doesn't it. Had my SIL to stay on the wkend who is due a couple of days after I was meant to be. Was lovely to see her but naturally hard to not feel a bit sad. How is the two week wait going? @ChloeN

ChloeN · 19/09/2022 20:12

@tulipsunday yes definitely I’m happy for them
but still sad for myself 😣 omg dragging soo much🤣 wasn’t like this last time, still only 7dpo so still over a week to go😥 I’m honestly debating testing early at this rate

tulipsunday · 19/09/2022 20:31

Haha oh no 🙈 I used to find it often dragged when I was TTC and I would start thinking hmm is this random twinge a symptom? 😂 I will need to remember next month that the two times I have got pregnant I didn't feel pregnant and it was a surprise so not to be swayed too much by how I feel. Hope the rest of the wait goes quick for you will keep everything crossed for you 🤞🤞

ChloeN · 19/09/2022 20:53

@tulipsunday thank you! 🤞🏻 most of my symptoms last time were exactly like period symptoms so I won’t know either way🤦🏻‍♀️
