The one MC I had medical management for was just like a heavy period with some clots, no need to go to A&E at all. For me, I only seem to haemorrhage when it starts on its own ahead of a planned surgery. Fingers crossed you don’t have too traumatic a time with it.

For me I had dark spotting for a few days. Then last night massive gushes of blood. I sat on the loo for it but there was no way I could have put on a pad.
I waited on the loo until my transport to hospital came.

Cruz86 · 29/11/2021 20:35

That's very interesting @Sunbird24. I wonder why that has been for you!

Thank you @Willow1981. I am so scared about how much blood there will be 😞

@Onebabyandamadcat I'm sorry to see you here. You were on another thread that I was on. I have to come home after the tablet is inserted too so we'll be in this together tomorrow x

Willow1981 · 29/11/2021 21:02

Good luck to you both and anyone else lurking on this thread.
The amount of blood was scary. I'm not going to sugar coat it. Make sure you ate well hydrated. I tried but still ended up low and on a drip.

Cruz86 · 29/11/2021 23:28

Thank you. I appreciate your honesty and I'm really sorry you had such a terrible time with it. How far along were you @Willow1981?

Willow1981 · 30/11/2021 10:30

I would have been 12 weeks and should have been in my 12 week scan today.
The baby died at 8 weeks.

Good luck today.

Cruz86 · 30/11/2021 11:50

I'm really sorry @Willow1981.

I've just had the tablet inserted so now it's a waiting game. I feel so much more terrible than I thought I would 😞

LittleMysSister · 30/11/2021 11:54

Thinking of you both, Willow & Cruz x

Willow1981 · 30/11/2021 13:42

@Cruz86. Feeling terrible is to be expected.
I'm slightly stuck at the numb stage. Until I talk to someone other than DH.

I have a dilemma. I bought a Christmas tree ornament with bump on it. Do I put it on the tree or not?

Onebabyandamadcat · 30/11/2021 13:56

Hi @Cruz86! I thought I recognised your username. I hope I find you on a happier thread one day soon.

While I was getting my bloods done today a spot for a MVA opened up tomorrow so I'm now getting the surgery which I have had before. Not pleasant but at least it'll be over quickly. This miscarriage just feels never ending - I've literally bled every day in November, was saying to DH this morning that it's nuts the nightmare started when we had ghosts and witches up for Halloween and it's still happening while we're getting the Santa stuff out.

Cruz86 · 30/11/2021 16:25

Hi all, I've just had about an hour and a half's worth of intense contractions which have now stopped. They're still here but no way near as bad, I can actually breathe and lay down. Does this sound like the worst is over or do I have more to come?

Cruz86 · 30/11/2021 17:27

I've managed to relax a bit now and think it's all over. That was absolutely horrendous, projectile vomiting, shaking, pins and needles. If only there was actually a baby at the end of it all 😞

Good luck for tomorrow @Onebabyandamadcat. Will be thinking of you.

@Willow1981 I think if you're comfortable with hanging the Christmas decoration then do it! There's no right or wrong ❤️

Willow1981 · 30/11/2021 18:13

DH is back to work tomorrow. I'm not sure how I will do on my own but he needs to go back. I'm hiding my nervousness from him. Not fair as he has no choice.

Going to keep busy with fun things. We got married in September so I can finish off our wedding album and writing thank you cards. We had planned to use them to announce the pregnancy so all previous ones have been ditched.

@Cruz86 I hope you are still relaxed. Keeping fingers crossed for you. XFlowers

AdrianeMole · 30/11/2021 18:55

Sorry to see more people join ynis thread and k hope all goes OK for @Cruz86 and @Onebabyandamadcat today and tomorrow.
@Willow1981 my DP went back to work yesterday. I did have more of a cry when he wasn't here, and today but things were OK when I kept myself myself a little busy. I got to the gym today which felt good but I was shocked at how much weight I'd put on. Joined one of the miscarriage association support groups last night. It was confirming to spend time (on zoom) with people who understood. X

AdrianeMole · 30/11/2021 18:56

Comforting not confirming!

Onebabyandamadcat · 30/11/2021 19:47

@Willow1981 I hope tomorrow is ok for you and you find something to occupy yourself - a wedding album sounds perfect.

@cruz86 I really hope that's you done and you get a good sleep tonight, I'm so sorry you've had such a tough day.

teateatea56 · 30/11/2021 23:41

I've been lurking a bit...
@Willow1981 - We got married in September too! Also have thank you cards to write so you're not alone there - maybe this is my sign to get on with them too! I hope your day tomorrow goes ok.
I've found the past few days really hard as it seems that things are back to 'normal' but there's an undercurrent of not normal if you know what I mean. I'm starting to look at work things to return a little next week as I'm freelance its hairy taking so much time and I think being occupied will do me some good. Finding DH really hard to be around and we're struggling to communicate well at the moment - falling into old patterns that are not helpful that usually we navigate around. So not fun here but we'll try again tomorrow.

Willow1981 · 01/12/2021 00:40

@teateatea56 I do know what you mean.
We have tried hard to do what we would normally be doing this time of year. Getting advent calendars out, putting up the tree etc. But if I'm honest, and I love him dearly, trying to help DH feel useful when there is so little he can do is hard. He has been slightly helicopter like today so a bit of normality tomorrow for him at least will be good.

I have had more cramping and passed clots again this evening. Glad that it's not stopped yet but why does it have to wait until I'm thinking about bed???

Hot water bottle on the sofa so DJ can get some sleep is the plan. Currently rocking incontinence pants and PJs. Its quite the look!

Tofu35 · 01/12/2021 09:47

It's now been a few weeks since my miscarriage and any twinge or cramp is making me think "this is my period, definitely" but it never arrives. As a few people have said before, we spend so long TTC hoping AF never darkens our door, but I'm pretty much rolling out the red carpet and hanging the "welcome back" bunting now! Just want my body to go back to normal so we can plan for the future.

JuniperAndTonic · 01/12/2021 11:38

Hope you’re all doing okay, be kind to yourselves ❤️

Me too @Tofu35 - I had brown spotting yesterday and this morning, got excited and celebrated but it’s not coming to much yet! But I’ve now gone out for the day to London and staying overnight and didn’t bring any protection with me so maybe that will tempt it!! 😂

Hayley220 · 01/12/2021 14:24

Hi everyone, hope you are all doing ok. I have made another post about my erpc booked for friday morning. Im so nervous!!

I am getting cramps but absolutely no bleeding. At least it should be over friday, although i worry it wont be and they wont remove everything and it will continue on. Is this quite unusual to happen after an erpc though? I have had a natural miscarriage before and haemorrhaged, is there more risk of this happening to me during an erpc?

Hayley220 · 01/12/2021 14:25

As you can tell from my above post I worry about EVERYTHING

Tofu35 · 01/12/2021 15:39

I don't have any answer for you @hayley220 but didn't want to leave without hoping you get an answer from someone who has experienced something similar 💐💐

AdrianeMole · 01/12/2021 15:43

Hi @Hayley220 I have had two ERPCs, the doctor will be looking at the ultrasound machine to make sure they remove all the necessary stuff so I think the chance of leaving anything in is very low or nothing.

Willow1981 · 02/12/2021 15:24

How is everyone doing today?

I ventured outside for the first time in a week. Bloody hell it's cold out!
I found it exhausting! Had to fortify myself with coffee and cake.
