Missed Miscarriage

Hi Ladies,

Just looking for some friends at this devastating time. It's one of those, that will never happen to me moments but sure enough it did. Went along to my 12 week scan and boom, I'm hit with the news that baby has no heartbeat. They also said baby looked smaller than expected so did an internal scan too. They measured baby and said it was approx just over 9 weeks. Can not explain the effects on both myself and my husband. It was our first baby. Gone but never forgotten 💖

@Busybee32 I’m so sorry you had to go through that. It’s such an awful experience. I found out at my 12 week scan that I’d had a MMC and I know the loss that you feel. The physical pain you get over quite quickly but the emotional pain stays with you for longer. But you will get through it I promise.
I literally fell pregnant 2 months after my cycles returned and I’m now 11 weeks pregnant. We went for a private scan at 8 weeks and had a strong healthy heartbeat but now I’m waiting for my 12 week scan which is next Wednesday and I’m terrified. I don’t think the anxiety will ever leave you. But I’m just hoping everything will be okay. I do feel more pregnant this time so I’m hoping that’s a good sign. Fingers crossed!
And I’m keeping my fingers crossed for you too. I know you will get there. Just try to keep positive xx

Hi @Busybee32 so sorry for the late reply too and what you've experienced. Glad the medical management went well - that's what I would have gone for as well but I went naturally the morning of my secondary scan. Make sure you give yourself plenty of time to recover mentally and physically! Ours as October and we've decided to try again recently but it took me a long time to get over to be honest. This is our second month of trying and due on in a few days so will see what comes of it - nothing the first month! Xx
