Blooming phone Sebs, doesn't show if there's a photo.... Anyway CONGRATULATIONS!

bakingtins · 07/06/2015 15:12

barking I am sorry about your Dad, sounds really tough for all sorts of reasons Sad

Yay for good scan mrsD

Congrats seb Grin

MrsConfusion · 07/06/2015 15:22

MrsD huge grin on my face, and tear in the eye to hear of happy scan, so thrilled for you.

seb congratulations! You sly fox, great news!

brummie glad you're through security, hope trip goes well. Ah I miss Italy!

As for me, having ov'd late last month (cd23) I think this month it's early - cd8 today with ewcm and a dark opk. Maybe I've got one quick ovary and one slow one?? Need to try to jump DH tonight despite his work deadlines...

Hope everyone is having some sunshine today

sebsmummy1 · 07/06/2015 15:24

Thank you (I'm obviously terrified) those two small bright red bleeds yesterday do not inspire confidence but the line is crazy strong for 100th wee of the day with a crap test in the bog of Tesco.

barking we had sex lol, but no opks, no careful timing. Only thing we did different was daytime sex as it was the bank holiday. I think taking the pressure off probably helped but I don't think it was the reason so I still think people that suggest a holiday need a punch.

I'm ringing my RMC consultant tomorrow morn but she only recommended aspirin and my tests (so far) were fine. So I imagine I will be trying to hang onto this pregnancy all by myself Sad

CheesyMash · 07/06/2015 16:03

sebs ha, that's awesome! Woo hoo! Smile so pleased for you!
Really hope the bleeding is from implantation or nothing sinister. X

twilightstruggle · 07/06/2015 16:27

Woop woop Sebs. Great news. I had it in my head you weren't trying? Where have I got that from?! Bizarre.

Barking - I'm so sorry to hear about your dad. Sending you and your family my best wishes (from a fellow daddy's girl)

I'm in Coventry! Very excited (to have my uterus scratched - sad timesHmm).

CheesyMash · 07/06/2015 16:41

Good luck twilight, hope the scratch goes well. X

sebsmummy1 · 07/06/2015 16:45

twilight you'd got that from me lol.

bootles · 07/06/2015 16:56

mrsd that's Brilliant news! 12+4 and another scan coming up soon, fantastic! Sooo pleased for you.

barking grrr on your behalf to the people who tell you to 'relax' and 'stop trying'.

sebs good news! I had a feeling we may see you again with a bfp...

twilight what's the world coming to eh, excited to get your uterus scratched! I felt the same, and liked the explanation that it can generate a healing response in the lining and possibly 'reset' it. Hope you find the appointment helpful.

brummie hope the trip goes well. I'm the same, a bundle of nerves. Keep telling myself there's not a damn thing I can do about the outcome, and to chillax. Not really working...

longest we will always be happy to hear from you, but understand you have your hands a little more full at the moment!. Let us know when there's a photo on the success thread.

So sad about the endings for two of the people on the birth thread you were on. Just tragic.

Lovemylittlebear · 07/06/2015 17:17

Sebs bloody fantastic news - fingers crossed this will be your time xxx

Minnie74 · 07/06/2015 17:41

Woohoo sebs congrats- I had a feeling you'd be updiffed! I think day time dtd works for us too (so not holding out much hope till the summer hols!) So chuffed for you- hope it's an uneventful 8 months.

longest glad you got some sleep. Sorry to hear of your friends baby. It really brings home to be grateful for what we have.

twilight good luck with the scratch. Gas and air is an amazing thing!

Minnie74 · 07/06/2015 17:43

cheesy and mrsc looks like there's a few of us round and about the tww. Hope we all get some luck!

longestlurkerever · 07/06/2015 18:12

Woo sebs! Congratulations and all best wishes for a successful pregnancy.

bootles thank you. All the best for your next scan. There's a pic of Beth on the side thread if you want to look. Xx

Flen · 07/06/2015 18:14

barking my other half went out with a friend of his who was visiting from another country. He has been with his new girlfriend for about 10 months and they decided to try for a baby. My OH's friend told him in the pub that his gf is 9 weeks pregnant and then went on to lecture my OH about how easy it is if you just relax. My OH, who is usually a very laid back chap, lost it completely! Some people are just total twats massively self-involved and hugely insensitive.

Congrats sebs!

mrsdiddlydoo · 07/06/2015 18:15

Awesome news seb! Strong line too Smile

bootles there already is a pic of shortest on the other thread

twilight hope the scratch goes well. Let us know how it goes.

Justonemoretime · 07/06/2015 18:34

Sebs Grin Grin great news, hope this is the one!
Mrsdiddlydoo excellent scan-tastic news!
Twilight hope the Coventry appointment goes well.
Longest enjoy those cuddles and getting to know Beth. So awful to hear about those other poor babies and their families, though. So scary to think about. I remember being beside myself when Scott was on the ventilator in the SCBU, it just doesn't bear thinking about. So, so awful that those other thread babies didn't make it.

Frecklefire · 07/06/2015 19:02

Ah ha Sebs! When you mentioned watery pink i did wonder about implantation bleed! CONGTATULATIONS BUDDY! I really really hope this is the one for you. We had our 3rd mc in the same week back in Feb, so i hope i won't be long behind you (mind you, i don't mind waiting longer this time if it means it sticks, unlike the last three times when got pg 1st time each time and lost each time...) xxx

Marchgirl · 07/06/2015 19:02
