Freckle, good idea. Minnie, to blind them with science, the phrase you want is 'for the cryoprotective effect that heparin has on the trophoblast.' Wink Good luck today.

Hey minnie hope the appointment ok today.

just sorry you're back in, hope you're released soon....

Hi to everyone else, hope it's an ok Monday.

bakingtins · 27/04/2015 07:47

just I like the idea of blinding the medics with science Wink but it's cyto protective ( protecting cells). Cryo Would be something to do with freezing!

How are you and baby just this morning? You seem to be handling it with aplomb, it must be stressful to keep being admitted. I hope it all calms down again so you can go home. Are you all prepared if baby does indeed arrive early?

Justonemoretime · 27/04/2015 07:52

thanks for the spelling correctionBlush on my phone, and fat fingers! :)

Thanks Baking, Babyjust seems fine today (I was woken for full obvs at 04:00, and heard a good heartbeat then), and I have good movement etc. Oddly I haven't felt too panicked as I 'feel' like things are OK. I'm just trapped in the NHS protocol for the moment and in the best place, should something else happen. The finish line is in sight now. Obviously wish this didn't keep happening, though. :)

Who was it here that had her dh running the marathon for the miscarriage association?
Hope he had a great time.
My friend did it and said it was great (also for the MA)

Justonemoretime · 27/04/2015 08:03

I'd describe us as being prepared to quickly get prepared... ie most bits in the house, but need washing etc... maybe I'm in denial...Shock

Thanks all starting to feel a bit sick about it all now. Love the science just and baking- I'll try my best to get it right- I'm the least sciency person (although for some unknown reason I'm in charge of it at work!)
I agree with sasha though that it's bloody annoying that we have to be middle men and have to fight for things. Just another example of how crap recurrent MC is.

pop good luck with your appointment today. Let us know how you get on.

just hope your bleeding stops and you get home soon. So exciting to be so close!

sebsmummy1 · 27/04/2015 08:47

Good luck today Minnie and Pop, thinking of you both xx

Glad everything is good just. Hopefully it's a blip and you'll be home again soon.

Brummiegirl15 · 27/04/2015 08:48

Morning all, not been posting much but reading and lurking.

Good luck today minnie. Totally understand about how you feel about being worried you'll cry - every appointment I have I spend the whole time concentrating on not crying....It's a British, stiff upper lip thing I think. It's annoying though because it means I don't get the most out of the appointment. I'm sure they see it all the time (crying Smile) so my advice would be don't worry about blubbing - just ask what you need to ask! This is your time.

Yes Yes and Yes to the TTC killing sex life chat. It's another shitty gift that miscarriage keeps on giving, not only do we have to deal with losing our babies, it also kills our sex lives too. DP and I have now been trying for over two years!! It's exhausting. Not as exhausting for me as it is for him I guess though Wink. It's the one part of all of this where we get the easier ride (so to speak Wink) I have got very good at pretending I'm gagging for it when actually I'd much rather be reading a good book. The pressure sometimes gets to DP too and brummie you're right, the worst bit is not being able to say anything because that will only make it worse!

Am bracing myself for imminent royal baby announcement...

AllThereIs · 27/04/2015 09:32

Morning all. Hope everyone is enjoying the sunshine. Can I ask, when you were MC, how long/how much did you bleed? I'm entering day 4 of heavy bleeding after 3 days of light bleeding/spotting. Pad half full after an hour or so, so not get to hospital bad. After my previous loss I didn't bleed too heavily and it was over in a week.

Don't know when enough is enough.

I feel a bit lost as the GPs are hopeless and I have no one else to contact.

Jady77 · 27/04/2015 09:55

Good luck today Minnie. I think advice on asking how to get back in contact is good, with I'd done that.

Allthereis is this after erpc or natural? If erpc I remember I had none initially then it got heavier a few days later.

Marchgirl · 27/04/2015 09:55

Sorry you're having a tough time with the bleeding allthere. I think it varies massively. My two natural mc have been fairly short bleeds 5 days and 11 days but the medically managed ones i bled for much longer (8 weeks and 5 weeks).
Sorry to be graphic but does it seem like you've passed the tissue yet? Once that's gone it should ease off i think.if you have any concerns at all i would call your epu. They are normally quite good at giving advice if you can get hold of them and if the bleeding gets really bad then do seek help. Really hope it styles soon for you so you can start the healing process x

Marchgirl · 27/04/2015 09:58

How you holding up jady?

Anyone near a computer and could set up a new thread. We're at the end again!

Monten · 27/04/2015 10:14

If I post last is it lucky?

Monten · 27/04/2015 10:14

Worth a shot
