A Manchester Meet up?

Seems there a few Manchester MNers who would like a meet up.

I know the SHineys are having one but feels wrong to gate crash if we haven;t posted!!

I am not volunteering to organise one, just starting a thread so other people can

I am far to lazy and likely to change my mind to do that!!

Yeah ditto, you look just the same! Your dd looks just like you too.

MrsChemist · 08/02/2010 18:17

I thought the Barton square bit was just home furnishings.

8th March at 11ish is good for me too.

Don't know Trafford Centre that well so can't suggest places but will have a scan on their website...

MrsChemist · 08/02/2010 18:35

I'm just looking on the website now

BelleDameSansMerci · 08/02/2010 18:41

Does anyone know if this play area can provide passable coffee? Or is this too ghastly for those without DCs attached?

BelleDameSansMerci · 08/02/2010 18:43

Aaaand (getting excited), are we really going to have a Facebook group? Or do we wear a badge/mask/carry copy of Financial Times or something? Or do we just follow the cackling (assuming I'm there early)?

BelleDameSansMerci · 08/02/2010 19:04

Hmmm - hadn't spotted the cost of the softplay area... Bit pricey for more than a couple of hours and definitely not fair if DCs not with you, I think. Soooo, will await better suggestion!

Saucepanman · 08/02/2010 19:08

Can we do somewhere with food if required, as I will be ravenous by 12pm

I went to the Trafford Centre last Monday and most of the restaurants were fairly empty. So as long as we know how many of us there are, anywhere should be able to accommodate us, if told in advance.

suwoo · 08/02/2010 19:49

I'm taking DS1 out of playgroup for the occasion so will have him (age 3) and 6 month old DS too.

Have created a group here. It is a secret one, please email me to join.

Saucepanman · 08/02/2010 19:49

thesecondcoming am guessing you will need to eat too! I seem to plan my whole day around food atm. Am craving said dirty chicken though!

suwoo · 08/02/2010 19:50

Not sure if you will all be able to see it as its secret- it won't show on your profile either.

KnitterInTheNW · 08/02/2010 20:01

Ooo, can I come too please?

Saucepanman · 08/02/2010 20:02

how do I email you?! should I CAT you?

suwoo · 08/02/2010 20:03

Yes CAT me or can you see the group on the link?

i can't CAT people but if you email my MN name @ gmail.com i will join (am no longer in the MN FB group)

I won't be doing the food bit so it doesn't matter where we meet as long as it serves some kind of refreshment!

I don't have CAT, and the link just takes me to the facebook homepage
