A Manchester Meet up?

Seems there a few Manchester MNers who would like a meet up.

I know the SHineys are having one but feels wrong to gate crash if we haven;t posted!!

I am not volunteering to organise one, just starting a thread so other people can

I am far to lazy and likely to change my mind to do that!!

any oldies welcome ......er well, not that old

MrsChemist · 08/02/2010 11:49

I'll certainly help organise one, as long as I'm not in charge of making decisions because I'm rubbish at that sort of malarkey.

MrsChemist · 08/02/2010 11:51

I'll put a post in the Manchester topic as well (unless someone else has already).

alypaly · 08/02/2010 11:56

can you send me a link, cant find it.
thx

MrsChemist · 08/02/2010 12:03

Here it is

AnyFucker · 08/02/2010 12:29

I would be interested but in something low key

Seems too full-on for me to have weekend evening or summat like that

I was hoping more for a weekday at the Trafford Centre or something, just to have a coffee/lunch or something so not too much pressure to "have a good time"

then no pressure to let it drop or extend to something more organised if people get on like a house on fire...

Agreed. Also, it's not too difficult to get to.

BelleDameSansMerci · 08/02/2010 12:43

Oh oh oh, can I come??

I'm not Manchester based but Trafford Centre and weekday lunchtime both work well for me.

MerlinsBeard · 08/02/2010 12:49

Trafford Centre Not Good for me. It's a 'mare to on public transport ( i don't drive)
It is do-able though.

I'd be up for it.
Trafford centre isn't good on public transport but maybe we could give lifts? I'd have 3 spaces available.
They've got that soft play thingy too at the Trafford Centre. Don't mind the arndale either though.

We get the train to Blackpool a couple of times a year, the DCs LOVE it!

Can I come? Can do bus to Trafford Centre, or train to Manchester. At a push, I could do head over heels in Chorlton or Land of Play (in Trafford Park, behind B&Q)

alypaly · 08/02/2010 13:09

verity...mine are probably older...so i'll bring my zimmer

AnyFucker · 08/02/2010 13:24

I'm older but DD is younger (2.5)... She'd normally be at nursery but it would be lovely for us to have a day together in the week.
