OK, thought I'd bite the bullet and start this thread as we were talking about the possibility on the "we're great, we are" thread

Is anyone interested in a christmas meet up? I know it's early but you know how time has a habit of flying by... I'm happy to organise if so. You can post here or email me at [email protected] I'm thinking probably London or just outside London as the place and the venue depends on how many want to come. Like batey's idea of a 70s/80s theme...

dixie - just kidding! I'm not sure how to give email addresses to people - do I tell tech to give mine to you? I would like to meet up after Christmas.

KS, lost your address (washed the trousers and the piece of paper - result = soggy mass) - I think you might have to ask Mumsnet to send me your email, rather than me asking them (if you see what I mean).

florenceuk, if it's easier, email me at [email protected] (don't forget the 'y' on the end) and I'll forward it with your email address attached to ks, whose email address I have.

KS, yes, never quite finished that conversation. I must say it has raised my interest in that department no end. must hang out at Costa's more often, frequented by young language students..

Yes ks - so when't next time??! To take up your comment from the Cherie Blair/War in Iraq thread(!) yes I too wished we'd managed to talk for longer - I have vague memories about just starting out on a conversation and the next thing you'd been swept away - maybe it was that photographer - I'm not sure it's all a bit confused in my memory! Can we start at lunch time next time???
Not trying to imply that you should arrange it - you certainly shouldn't have to after shouldering the work last time - but I can't really offer to either from here in the sunny Midlands !
