I'm in Bristol now, but originally from Plymouth...went to Eggbuckland community school (you?) and nope....would not suggest union rooms in a month of sundays!!! Its what I would call chav... lol.!!

I was thinking more along lines of Pizza Express as child friendly etc etc? What do you think?

I'm a plymuff MNer...but work FT so miss day time meets, and DH works evenings/nights so usually miss those one stoo. Still worth a try

DH is rather taken by the primary school as it encourages the pupils to do music and accepts the fact that the electric guitar and drums count, not just recorders and violins.
We are other side of Laira Bridge in Prince Rock.

Califrau - we are intending more on staying for a couple of years or so, and see how it goes, rather than staying and buying. Dps mother was looking at a retirement omplex nr san fran, cant remember the name, and its ridiculously expensive there too. Oakland?

DP's brother is an events organiser and he should be able to work with him. Not sure about me, as I work in criminal justice system and USA does not really do 'justice', and LA has suspended death sentence doesnt it? Maybe I could get a job in a bar!
We are intending for DP to get his passport back, easy enough, and as we are getting married, we are hoping we can get dual nationality for DD after we been there for a while. Not sure how it all works tho, DP thinks its possible.

there are lots of people moving here, or near here, but no-one actually. well. here!

I think we should you know. People will be jealous once they hear of it, and want to join in...

How is brissol btw? I have heard both good and bad about it. Some friends just bought a place there, in a roughish area apparantly and had to max out to do it....but on the property ladder still...even if they have no money to party...I bet they do tho...!
