Watford daytime meetup with kids (July)

Hi girls, ok, so I couldn't wait for someone else to start the thread so here it is!

Daytime meetup with kids -

Plan A (sunny) - The Mill, Smug Oak Lane, Bricketwood (as per old thread)
Plan B (raining) - lunch in Watford?

Suggested dates:
Fri Jul 9th
Mon Jul 12th
Fri Jul 23rd

I seem to remember Friday being the best day for people, but feel free to suggest another date if I've got that wrong!

Soz - we'll be tied up at BBC studios until around 11am and then we're off to the London Eye, so probably won't make it. However we're staying at the K West hotel Thurs and Fri night so if anyone fancies a few drinks at the bar or a nearby pub, please let me know! I'd love to meet some of you!

Nikcola - train line from us only goes down not along (if that makes sense) so we'll be coming by car.

nikcola, don't get the train to Watford. Get the Thameslink and get off at Radlett, it's 2 miles from Moor Mill. Watford is 5 miles from Moor Mill.

i dont think i can get there friday as ive got no way of getting there. i live near bushey station but if i was to get the train i would have to go into london and then back out again, which is stupid. if i got a taxi, how would i have dd strapped in? shes only 18months.

tammybear if you can get to Watford Junction station you can get the local train to Bricket Wood Station and I will meet you there. It's called the Abbey Flyer and trains leave WJ at 11.16 and 12.01. Journey time is 8 minutes.

Nikcola, why do you need an op? Hope things are okay.
