Hi girls, ok, so I couldn't wait for someone else to start the thread so here it is!

Daytime meetup with kids -

Plan A (sunny) - The Mill, Smug Oak Lane, Bricketwood (as per old thread)
Plan B (raining) - lunch in Watford?

Suggested dates:
Fri Jul 9th
Mon Jul 12th
Fri Jul 23rd

I seem to remember Friday being the best day for people, but feel free to suggest another date if I've got that wrong!

Thomcat in all probability we will be outside all the time - only if we have an unexpected shower we can pop inside. There are over 100 tables outside.

I would have thought that if the weather is nasty we should go to an indoor venue instead, like we did last time?

nikcola · 28/06/2004 19:40

what are the ages of children coming ?

Janstar · 28/06/2004 19:42

deegward · 29/06/2004 00:53

Tentative yes from me. If that's Ok. Don't know yet if ds1 has school that day or if already broken up, so will either be late (drop ds1 off at 1pm) or will have ds1 (4 and a bit), and ds2 15 months. Thomcat, I did the active yoga classes as well at the Baptist church with Karen. Are you going to the baby cafe or is yours too old?

Kayleigh · 29/06/2004 15:33

look forward to meeting you deegward.
My ds1 is almost 6 and ds2 was 3 on Friday. Am also bringing a friend who has a ds 6 and a dd 2. A few of you met her once before at the Playdome.

tammybear · 29/06/2004 22:03

DH and I had lunch at Moor Mill today. There are lots of ducklings and cygnets and goslings about, but they won't be small and cute any more by the 23rd!

karen99 · 07/07/2004 16:34

deegward. Thought that must be the case! Hope to see you on the 23rd.

i was just wondering, if we continue to have this bad weather, are we still going to the mill?

Janstar · 08/07/2004 19:40

Perhaps we should go to kidsports again if the weather isn't good enough?

Rhubarb · 14/07/2004 15:03

I shall be in London on Friday and will be free around lunchtime. But don't know London very well (i.e. at all), we'll be in Shepherd's Bush, where is it that you are all meeting?

Janstar · 14/07/2004 15:19

We're in Herts, this meet is near Radlett. What made you think it was near Shepherd's Bush??

Do come if you can, get the Thameslink to Radlett and cab or get lift with one of us. Would be excellent to meet you.

Kayleigh · 14/07/2004 15:19

Rhubarb, we are going to The Mill, Smug Oak Lane, Bricketwood if the weather is dry. It's a pub with an outside play area for kids. It is near Radlett Station, so you can get tube to Farringdon and then the Thameslink from Farringdon straight there and it'll take about 35 mins. We can arrange to pick you up from the station if you are coming as most of us will have cars there.
It's a bit of a hike for you but it would be great if you could come. We can give you a proper mumsnet send off

Janstar · 14/07/2004 16:45

Sorry rhubarb, now I have read the other threads and I understand what you were driving at!

You can pick up the Thameslink at West Hampstead too. Get central line and change at Bond St.

Thomcat · 14/07/2004 23:32

Ohhhh, getting quite excited, so who have we got?

Me
Karen99
Janstar
Kayleigh
PicadillyCircus
Nikcola
Tammybear
Melsey
Deegward

Hmm, quite a gathering, wicked
I'll try and find out if Alibubbles will be up for it, if she's feeling well wnough.

So it's this Friday, eta's 12.30 - 1.30.

Karen - give us a call and let me know how we'll do this whether you want me to come to you, or what.

Really looking forward to it

karen99 · 15/07/2004 16:16

Yey, looking forward to it too... just hope the bloomin' weather improves..

I'll email you Thomcat. I'll be at the church on the corner of Pinner Rd and George V Ave from 11-12pm so should be able to come straight round to you.
