Good Morning Campers Smile

Sorry for starting this a bit late - meant to do it last night Blush

Here's the spreadsheet

Spreadsheet of Fabulousness

Already seen some great losses recorded on the Week 1 thread so that's heartening Smile. It's always great seeing how newbies see that it really does work Grin

But don't despair if you haven't lost as much as others. Remember, this isn't a competition. We're all here with different startpoints, and everyone loses at a different rate anyway. We all need to KOKO.

One more week of strict Boot Camp and then we can choose to go on to Boot Canp Light for those of us who want to Halo

Oh I forgot to ask… can you freeze cauli rice? I want to do a whole cabbage but won’t use it all. Do you Cook it first then freeze or just keep raw and freeze? Thanks!

BIWI · 30/10/2022 18:22

I'd use a cauliflower first!

... but I'd freeze it raw.

prettybird · 30/10/2022 18:28

Sorry @NotDonna - don't know about freezing cauliflower rice - someone else may come along who's tried it.

We're going to turn the water off tonight while we're at my dad's. And then again tomorrow night as there's heavy rain forecast early Tuesday morning.

Absolutely shattered. Hosted a Halloween party with about a million children. Chocolate fountain, sweets, cakes, biscuits- so much food!! I had nothing 😇😇😇

Eggs with butter for breakfast, charcuterie and pickles for lunch, yoghurt asa snack, gammon, cauliflower cheese and green beans for tea.

Looking forward to weigh in tomorrow. Plus I've perked up a bit and feel less tired and sad- think I'm adjusting to LC again. Haven't exercised much this week though- going to try Pump again on Tuesday....

Baystard · 30/10/2022 20:00

Well done resisting the carbs in the midst of millions of kids @debka

I've not weighed since Thursday and I might, or might not weigh tomorrow. Trying to be less focused on the number.

Roast chicken this evening with sprouts-3-ways! Had the cream that went with dessert, but not the sugary pudding everyone else had.

Bought ver-ver-naice feta today (a reaction to the disappointly horrible cheap stuff I had last week) and am concerned I'm actually a bit obsessed about cheese. I counted up and I have 9 different types of cheese in use in the fridge (not including the 3 types of cheddar) ShockGrin Am I a BC record holder or is this still amateur league?!

Sunsnowsun · 30/10/2022 20:05

Dreadful roast dinner 😫 we had an quite expensive organic beef joint, it was in a plastic pack, from a well known vegetable/meat weekly delivery company. Bought as a treat !

I lovingly cooked it, made gravy from the juices whilst it rested. When I went to carve it I found out it was off 🤮 . With hindsight there was a slight smell when I took it out of the packaging…..
so we had a roast beef dinner without the meat, which was as my dd said, rather sad 😢, especially so if you are on bootcamp and had planned on having a lot of beef, with flgv and cauliflower cheese (which I had to share). Whilst the rest had homemade Yorkshire puddings, roast potatoes and roast parsnips.
I will be ringing customer services to discuss it in the morning.

I have kept the beef, which is quadruple wrapped as smells worse now it’s stood, we had to throw out the gravy , veg it had roasted with .etc.
luckily I had some bisto, but was really not good. As it was just at the carving point, so everything else was ready, there was no time to sort anything else out.

Sunsnowsun · 30/10/2022 20:07

Should add I have only kept the beef in case they want to see it……not in case it suddenly becomes edible 😂

NotDonna · 30/10/2022 20:24

biwi can you tell I’m half asleep? Cabbage rice?? 🤔
oh no what a waste of beef sunsnowsun especially a nice organic one!
chimneypot it’s 3lbs down from weighing last Monday on hotel scales so probs not accurate; different scales an’ all. BUT it’s 2lbs down on home scales from two weeks ago. So I’m very happy with that. If I’d eaten in ‘holiday mode’ for the 2 weeks there’d be a big gain and I didn’t feel like I was missing out.

everyone Good luck for tomorrows weigh in 🥰

venusandmars · 30/10/2022 21:01

Oh NO! @Sunsnowsun I find that those kind of 'off-meat' experiences put me off that particular meat for a while. I had a similar experience with restaurant 'cook at home' thing. They said, No problem, we're sorry, will send you another one....

I was 'please no, send me something different, can't face that 'thing' for a quite a time. Halloween Envy

Sunsnowsun · 30/10/2022 21:12

Thanks @NotDonna and yes @venusandmars i don’t think I fancy roast beef in the near future 😫

prettybird · 30/10/2022 22:01

What a disappointment @Sunsnowsun ShockSad Hopefully you'll get a good response from customer service tomorrow Flowers.

Dad's curry was very nice: had potatoes in it which I just didn't eat and had the tiniest of tiny spoonfuls of rice, a generous serving of yoghurt, a small amount of sweetcorn and tomato "salsa" ( tried to serve myself up mostly bits of tomato) and a green salad.

I did have a small portion of grapes and strawberries with cream (in my defence I've been doing strict Boot Camp for 2 weeks and 2 days) and just had water Halo rather than the Peroni that dh and my dad were having Smile

Minkyscamp · 31/10/2022 06:44

No loss here, which is disappointing as I've been positively saintly all week. But I'm not too surprised, I'm due my period in the next few days and I think I remember from last time I did LCHF, my body seems to hold onto water in the week beforehand. Anyone else experience this?

I'm hoping for a double loss next week!

Baystard · 31/10/2022 07:09

@Minkyscamp yes I can gain 3-5 lb of water. Think of the whoosh you'll get when it all goes though!

pinknsparkly · 31/10/2022 07:31

@NotDonna - I buy the pre-made frozen cauliflower rice as I've never managed to master ricing cauliflower.... I always end up with blended cauliflower instead 😂but that appears to be frozen before it's cooked. I'd make sure you spread it out in a think flat layer so you can break back up onto rice pieces before cooking.

I'm down 1.3lb, which I'm very pleased with considering I've been TERRIBLE at drinking water this week! I'm planning a water reset this morning and am.half way through my first 750ml bottle

@FinallyHere can you post a link to the Spreadsheet of Fabulousness in it please? Flowers - I don't want to make a mistake Blush

I have a horrible sinking feeling that i messed up the link to Week 3, which isn't working for me now.

Week 3 pre-Christmas 22 Boot-camp

Apols because there is still a level of mystery around what works and what doesn't so I'm very tempted to just blame the tech, oops, soz., 'twas probably me

Baystard · 31/10/2022 08:25

I had a bit of a difficulty with the link, here's the one I used Smile:
