Good Morning Campers Smile

Sorry for starting this a bit late - meant to do it last night Blush

Here's the spreadsheet

Spreadsheet of Fabulousness

Already seen some great losses recorded on the Week 1 thread so that's heartening Smile. It's always great seeing how newbies see that it really does work Grin

But don't despair if you haven't lost as much as others. Remember, this isn't a competition. We're all here with different startpoints, and everyone loses at a different rate anyway. We all need to KOKO.

One more week of strict Boot Camp and then we can choose to go on to Boot Canp Light for those of us who want to Halo

Oh @BIWI , that’s another warning if ever there was one!

prettybird · 28/10/2022 22:33

Meant to say that I ended up doing an unplanned 26 hour fast. We went out last night to meet the rest redacted to dish the dirt on the distribution of redacted 's estate and redacted how much redacted had stolen from redacted . Redacted can't half put away the pints, so it was 11 before we got home and far too late to eat. (Redactions because not all the family members have been told yet Wink).

And then this morning I was going across to get what is now ds' car to take it to our friend's garage to be checked.

By the time we'd gone back and forward across the river (vendor was the other side of the Clyde, garage was this side), I'd done the insurance quotes and actually bought the car (dh drive over and then got his chance to drive the new car back), got ds to drive me to the priority post box to post the V5 form (vendor couldn't do it on line because for some reason the number wouldn't work), it was after 3pm. So I decided I should probably have some yoghurt and cream with a wee bit of cinnamon Smile

The lovely thing about this WoE is that I actually still wasn't that hungry Halo

BIWI · 29/10/2022 08:14

That all sounds very intriguing, @prettybird!

prettybird · 29/10/2022 09:39

Once the rest of the family has been told, I'll tell more Wink

Should add that I sat in the pub drinking glasses of water Halo, which did not compute with the person we were seeing! Grin

Well done @prettybird , willpower of steel!

It looks like I've dropped another whooshy amount this week (I know it will slow down Sad). I'm going to weigh tomorrow this week as leaving for Scotland at 1pm tomorrow and don't want to take my scales with me Wink

I put my nighty on last night and felt looser (it's a very unforgiving satin number) so I'm very happy!

Fasting today as I have a meal out for my birthday tonight as I'll be in Scotland for my actual day (could think of worse places to be!) it's a lovely Turkish place so extremely easy to stick to LCHF!

Really mentally in a good place to do this and so excited to get the results again Blush

Have a fabulous weekend everyone!

venusandmars · 29/10/2022 11:39

@prettybird was it Prince Harry and the Queen?

prettybird · 29/10/2022 12:17

@venusandmars - don't think there is any theft involved by Prince Harry Grin

NotDonna · 29/10/2022 16:09

Very intriguing prettbird and well done sticking with water whist ‘redacted’ knocking back the pints!
we fly home today landing tomorrow am. I’m going to lay of the carby plane food best I can. I’ve done a menu plan and have a Tesco delivery booked. So I can get straight on it. I’ll be heading straight to my scales too but aren’t too hopeful. If I’m static I’ll be happy. I’m going to do another couple of weeks strict boot camp as I haven’t fully done it although made huge differences. Drinks have been the main issue!

DearieMeWhatsUp · 29/10/2022 17:44

Made a gammon joint in my new air fryer tonight and ate LOADS of it. Was delicious. Tried the 'shoogled' white cabbage with added garlic powder - so lovely

Backstreets · 29/10/2022 19:39

Went on a day trip and lunch options were grim, when everybody else were enjoying pizza I ended up with a "vegetarian salad" with raw mushroom slices!! I've never had that before in my life. It was rank. Back home I tried the shoogled sprouts and really enjoyed them. This is going to be an easy option for a snack going forward :)

prettybird · 29/10/2022 20:44

@Backstreets - I often have shoogled sprouts as a meal when dh and ds are having, say, Lidl curries or chicken nuggets (our easy Friday night meal).

Hope the flight goes well @NotDonna

Gratters @prettybird sitting drinking water and enjoying a pub outing is just next level inspiration

debka · 29/10/2022 22:24

Busy busy day today, and now I've got 3 13 year olds for a sleepover this evening- I don't imagine there will be a great deal of sleeping going on. They're watching Harry Potter films and eating sweets, the cuties.

Missed breakfast this morning, then had egg mayo with cress and some ham for lunch. Dinner was spag Bol but I had broccoli in place of the spag, it was very good.

Halloween party tomorrow with the aforementioned teens, plus family and more kids- going to be a chocolate fountain, mountains of sweets and cupcakes- lots to avoid!

debka · 30/10/2022 07:09

I'm not sure when the teenagers went to sleep- I put earplugs in at about midnight. They are all awake again now- it's 7am 😩😩😩😩

ZiggZagg · 30/10/2022 09:28

@debka In my experience, they're probably still up! Grin

Off to Scotland today so weighed a day early, 4lbs down, just 0.2lbs shy of the stone altogether!!

Anyway, im going to fast until I get to Carlisle, then have chicken sausage on SLCR, with mayo. Probably eat out tonight but sure I'll find a good steak with salad/FLGV.

Enjoy your Sunday campers!

Sunsnowsun · 30/10/2022 09:41

I seem to have stayed the same this week, I suspect it’s because I lost 3lbs in the first week, which is more than I usually loose, just going to koko as I know that my pattern is definitely loose, stay the same and then a loss.

Backstreets · 30/10/2022 13:34

Fried up mushroom and onion today, more sprouts on the side. Very good! A bit hard racking up enthusiasm for anything rn but I did a big food shop and should be set for a while. Low hopes for tomorrow, but am determined to do well all November and reach my 10 lb loss goal.

NotDonna · 30/10/2022 13:36

Back home! The notion of fasting on the plane was impossible. Never mind. Have weighed and lost 3lbs but I’ll weigh again tomorrow. I’m not feeling lighter at all but heavy and bloated.

Tesco has delivered & laundry swishing. Had a little nap and will now check menu and do some prepping. My DDs take packed lunches so thinking I’ll make a creamy chicken lemon risotto for them today for tomorrow. Do Roast for tonight and then a good think about my lunches. My go to is cottage cheese, pear & walnuts but I’m wanting to stay strict this week and away from fruit and nuts still. So need to find quick easy lunches.
Happy Sunday!

ChimneyPot · 30/10/2022 13:53

Well done @NotDonna losing 3lbs while away is very impressive.
I am up one after my trip.

Frenchpoodle · 30/10/2022 14:21

Well done on the losses so far, and KOKO @Sunsnowsun - couple of weeks it will be a big loss again.

Food today (am in the middle of writing a massive report, so trying hard to stay on track and not panic eat, not the easiest to be honest).
B: 3 babybels and a slug of double cream at the fridge - not the best
L: Ham salad with coleslaw
D: Booked in for a carvery - planning on Turkey and FLGV

prettybird · 30/10/2022 14:58

@NotDonna - can you make yourself some coleslaw to take as lunches? The Lidl mayo is low carb, as is Hellman's (there's another expensive one whose name escapes me as I've never bought it Wink).

Or if you take cottage cheese, why not take some full fat Greek yoghurt?

OP posts:
prettybird · 30/10/2022 15:38

I like making the home made coleslaw as it is nice and crunchy. Smile

Memo to self: really should make some myself Wink

OP posts:
venusandmars · 30/10/2022 16:31

@NotDonna I add grated cheese to home made coleslaw - makes it feel very satisfying. Or chef's salad - which I make with chopped chicken, chopped ham, small cubes of cheese, sliced mushroom look away @prettybird all bound up in mayonnaise. Then I add green salad things (cucumber, lettuce etc)

Back home from our lovely trip - met up with fellow campervan friends last night and had a great dinner scallops on cauliflower puree, then cod with a smoked haddock 'caneloni' spinach and chicken butter sauce, then cheese and no biscuits.

Big omelette for dinner tonight.

prettybird · 30/10/2022 16:45

We're at my dad's tonight: he's doing pork vindaloo so I'll have to have a tiny spoonful of rice Sad

In preparation, I've been doing an extended fast today Halo

Still no further forward with the water mystery Halloween Confused. Neighbours are convinced it's from us - but we've investigated and can't find anything. We ran the water in the kitchen sink for an hour (so testing both the water intake and the waste pipe) with no repeat of the problem and have since run the dishwasher 4 times Halloween Confused They don't want any investigation at the moment from "underneath", ie via where the bulge in the ceiling is (for reasons we understand) but we're a bit stumped as to what else we're supposed to do.

This is the view of the downstairs room and our side kitchen window. The bulge in the ceiling is actually about half a meter to the left of where our waste pipe is. The blue oval is what I added when I sent the picture to our plumber: it looks like damp coming down their wall Confused Door is actually an alternate entrance to their house: our entrance is actually just out of shot to the right of the picture.

Thanks for the homemade coleslaw idea prettybird and the chef’s salad venusandmars I’ve never used mayo as not that keen on it but may try a bit of yoghurt & mustard as a dressing. We do have Hellman’s in the fridge so I can always see if tastebuds have changed!

prettybird there looks to be a fair amount of wetness inside your blue oval and down from the porch light. It really does sound like you’ve tried everything you can. If it was your D/W or anything else then it’d be apparent by now.
