Morning all!

Another wet and dreary day. What happened to summer?!

Anyway, for its final outing, here is the Spreadsheet of Fabulousness

It's not the end, of course - and I know many of you are keen to keep going until whenever the next Bootcamp starts. So post here for all the usual chat, banter, recipes, etc.

Thanks BIWI

Hi Biwi and everyone

I have been absent from the threads unfortunately, I did try to keep up but I ended up weeks behind at the beginning. Things have been manic at work and life seems to have picked up pace again.

I've lost 14.5lbs this bootcamp which I'm obviously pleased with but also beating myself up a bit that it's a slower loss than the Jan bootcamp where I lost 2 stone. I know that's silly of me but I'm worried it's also because I haven't had time to go and do my walking this time, I'm scared as life returns to normal that I could slip back into bad habits.

Good luck to everyone for their final weigh in and thank you again for being such an amazing community helping each-other to achieve what has felt like an impossibility to most I'm sure!

Rayna37 · 21/06/2021 09:52

I've not had a great bootcamp. Started higher than ever before and while I lost the real excess I'm still floating half a stone above goal and never really losing enough before the next holiday/weekend away/whatever takes me back up again.

Definitely sticking around, still learning new things and picking up new recipes all the time. I'm sticking with the new Renpho scales going forward, they're consistently 0.8-1lb lower than my old ones so used both for weekly weigh ins for the purposes of this bootcamp; can relegate them now.

ditavonteesed · 21/06/2021 10:32

Very happy to report 3.6 this week taking me to a boot camp loss of 11.6. Also that takes me to my target and gives me a bmi if 24.9. For the first time since I was about 25 I'm a healthy weight.

Thank you so much @BIWI @Stuntnun and everyone. It's been a pleasure and I'll be sticking around.

Hi all. Still stubbornly stuck at 12.12 despite no cheating at all and now drinking at least 2l water. Very frustrating but at least I am not gaining. I am in weeks 3/4 as I only started on a Wednesday four weeks ago. It could be alcohol as I had two vodka and sodas with a few drops of angustorua bitters, very low carb but maybe just need to knock that on the head for a bit.

Plan for today

Lunch eggs and spinach and a few bacon lardons fried in butter with mayo

Dinner not sure, have supermarket delivery coming tomorrow so have to use stuff up.

You're in the week 3/4 doldrums though! KOKO and it will be fine. Just remember to keep the fat levels up, and drink all the water.

Just placemarking. Very quiet round here!

EarlGreyHot · 21/06/2021 13:20

0.6lbs off here which gives a grand total of 2.2lbs off this bootcamp (over 18 lbs in total from last October). I'm pretty pleased as I'm quite near goal weight and finding that all my clothes fit me and fit nicely. I guess I've perhaps been more maintaining than anything else but that's ok too as previous attempts at weight loss found me yoyo-ing rather than sitting comfortably for any period of time. The game changer has been getting back on the horse any time I fell and also planning ahead for social occasions so I can have a few drinks and some lc snacks but still stay mostly on track.

The threads have largely passed me by this time - it was so busy at the start that I simply couldn't keep up and was feeling bad for that. So I kept quietly on myself, checking in when I could or when I needed a kick up the backside. I'm still very much on board with this woe though and want to thank BiWi and the others for such a brilliant resource Flowers

BestIsWest · 21/06/2021 13:23

Just checking in. I haven’t been weighing because I find it demotivating but I feel I’ve lost around a stone judging by clothes and measurements.
I think I’ve probably lost what I gained during lockdown and wfh during the last year.
Going to carry on as quite a lot left until I’m in the healthy BMI range.
Had an invitation last night to a family wedding next April almost exactly a year to the day since starting this so I am aiming to be in good shape by then.

Thanks to @BIWI and the rest of you for the advice and support and laughs.

prettybird · 21/06/2021 13:45

I've not done so well this Boot Camp - ironically, I think because I couldn't get into the Water, water, water mindset Blush despite it being summer Confused

But I am c. half a stone down on where I started this Boot Camp Smile - albeit that was artificially increased by a week of big birthday celebrations BlushGrin (but is still higher than where I'd got to just before my birthday Hmm)

But I repeat again , I've stabilised at c11st 5lb, I know I'm looking good Smile, I'm enjoying what I'm eating and often I think your body wants to stabilise on a new set weight before resuming its downward trajectory.

Next Boot Camp or even before Wink I will get under 11st and I will get to a normal BMI (which in my case is 10st 9lb). But I'm not going to angst over it. Halo

prettybird · 21/06/2021 13:49

In other good news, work starts on the new bathroom on Wednesday Smile but unfortunately ds is coming down on Saturday so it won't be finished

Dh has been doing a sterling job of clearing the room of everything including the plaster and lathe so that the fitters will have a totally clean slate to work with.

This was where he'd got to on Thursday. The walls all now look like the one on the left.

Morning all and thanks as always to BIWI for the thread. I am 8lbs down this Bootcamp (51 in total ) which has taken me down into a comfortable maintenance buffer weight. I will be keeping close to the thread even though I know I am inconsistent at posting - I need to stay vigilant now and not undo my hard work.

Well done on the BMI @ditavonteesed it's a great achievement.

Andi2020 · 21/06/2021 14:06

@BIWI thanks for new thread and for starting this bootcamp looking forward to next one and keeping up with everyone's stories.
Thanks to everyone for your inspiration on food and life stories as it is our daily life that affects what we eat whether it's a party or night out or just general day to day it all effects what we eat.
I am finding the water alot easier have had one cup of tea with milk in the 10 weeks so will keep that up and no potatoes rice pasta.
Might eat a few more veg like carrots and fruit like grapes and apple.
I am at a weight under 150lbs so want to maintain that.if I go Lower don't mindGrin but don't want to go above.
What is everyone else planning on doing going forward, until next bootcamp.
Well done everyone on losses and sharing your stories

Bryonyshcmyony · 21/06/2021 15:04

Yes thank you all. It's very helpful to have these threads to check in to. I definitely feel a lot slimmer and dh even SAID I looked slimmer, which is a miracle as he rarely comments on my appearance!

MrsKoala · 21/06/2021 15:31

Well done @ditavonteesed its great to get into the healthy BMI. Such an achievement!

And well done everyone else too.

I had a bit of a bad old habit weekend which resulted in a 3lb loss. I know 15 double vodkas and no food isn't quite the way to go though Blush . But I'm very happy at 11st 8 and am going to continue on BC lite for a week or 2 till I can get time to put together a HIIT schedule and food plan. I need to use up all the fatty meat from the freezer first and then I'll go leaner but introduce some healthy carbs.

nowlook · 21/06/2021 16:33

Yeeesss @ditavonteesed! Well done!

I don't have much to report apart from these photos taken on 15th Feb and 20th June. They're not even from the same angle, but I can see the difference Grin

Beautiful in both pics nowlook but considerably slimmer in the second!

You're beautiful in both pictures @nowlook - but you can see how much slimmer you are in the 2nd one. And look at that jawline! Smile

prettybird · 21/06/2021 17:03

Forgot to say to @ditavonteesed - well done on getting into a normal BMI Thanks

Hopeislost · 21/06/2021 17:22

Well done @ditavonteesed that's a great result!

I've lost 6lb this bootcamp taking me to just over 2 stone lighter than when I found bootcamp in May 2020. Still got another stone to go to get a normal BMI so will keep on chipping away at it!

MrsKoala · 21/06/2021 17:25

@nowlook What a lovely, happiness radiating visage! I can really see the difference.

I’ve just done my measurements and I’ve got from
Measurements in inches
Bust 42 - 39
Waist 34 - 28
Hips 39 - 38
Bum 41 - 41 ☹️ (Why won’t my bum just piss off?)
Thighs 24 - 22

Oneborneverydecade · 21/06/2021 17:31

Looking fab @nowlook

I'm 2.5lb up on the beginning of this BC which is not ideal but given that my version of maintenance has included bread almost daily, probably quite fortunate.

I'm going to knuckle down and try and lose another stone before our holiday at the end of August. That'll give me a BMI of 21.

How is the running going @BIWI ? Our 3 runs a week became 2, then 1 and this bad weather puts me off completely.

I've just applied for a p/t job with a local company that distribute keto foods - I'm hoping my enthusiasm will give me the edge

Well done everyone, some great loses

Oneborneverydecade · 21/06/2021 17:34

@MrsKoala how did your event go the other day?

A 28" waist is tiny! Jealous

Stokey · 21/06/2021 17:38

Well done for all the great losses and thanks again to @BIWI and all the other long time contributors who have helped with recipes and understanding this WOE Flowers

This was my first bootcamp and I've lost just under a stone, which I'm delighted with. I'm on week 8 as started a bit later so will continue to my end. I'm happy where I've got to but could also lose a couple more pounds just to give me a bit of leeway.
