Morning all!

Another wet and dreary day. What happened to summer?!

Anyway, for its final outing, here is the Spreadsheet of Fabulousness

It's not the end, of course - and I know many of you are keen to keep going until whenever the next Bootcamp starts. So post here for all the usual chat, banter, recipes, etc.

Bath with bubbles - both in the bottle and in the bath 🍾🥂 - along with some rose petals 🌹Grin (after getting the idea from Beechgrove last night and also harking back to a luxury bath that was drawn for us in a luxury game park in SA we'd gone back to to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary having gone there for our honeymoon)

That is really nice @prettybird

prettybird · 30/07/2021 21:22

Dh says this picture of me is decent enough thanks to all the bubbles artfully distributed Grin

Bryonyshcmyony · 30/07/2021 21:26

I've been peeing for England for the last few days sorry. Bucket loads.

Just weighed myself and I seem to have lost a lot despite it being the end of the day. Will try in the morning.

prettybird · 30/07/2021 21:36

@Bryonyshcmyony - I like to think of/visualise the peeing - as long as you've been following all the rules Halo - as peeing away the fat Grin

Omg it feels like it! Quite excited to weigh tomorrow

Great pic @prettybird

Ifeelmuchlessfat · 31/07/2021 10:28

@prettybird looks fab - can I steal? We’re putting in a new loo and sink in the ‘boys’ bathroom next week and I love that colour, wouldn’t have thought it works in a small space but it’s fabulous.
Is it a specific bathroom paint? And what shade? I’ll post a pic of how it looks now when I’ve cleaned up a bit Hmm

prettybird · 31/07/2021 10:41

Of course you can @Ifeelmuchlessfat - I was myself initially inspired by a picture on some TV show of a white window and navy wall in a small room.

And then @MrsKoala (I think it was) posted up a picture of a loo with matching navy blue shelves plus a picture of her loo with strong colours which made me even more confident about the choice.

Colour was Crown Bathroom paint Midnight Navy. It takes quite a while to "harden" though - but that could be a function of the high humidity up here at the moment (as technically, the high temperatures should have meant it dried quite quickly) - so we tended to leave much more than 4 hours between the coats. And you need to be extra careful with the masking tape as taking it off can lift chunks of the paint.

Washing/wiping down before it's fully hardened seems to leave a mark (not helped by the sheen and the dark colour) so we need to go back and fix a couple of bits of damage caused when the bath etc was put in and then leave it another 2 weeks before attempting to do any cleaning (shouldn't need to do too much anyway).

Ifeelmuchlessfat · 31/07/2021 12:16

@prettybird thanks, will pop along to b&q.
It won’t be anything like as grand as yours but will greatly improve a grotty, cobwebby and slightly mouldy bathroom Blush

Bryonyshcmyony · 31/07/2021 12:19

12.6 today so 2lb down. Wonder if it will stick. Only 2 more lbs and that's a stone.

BIWI · 31/07/2021 12:36

Why wouldn't it 'stick' @Bryonyshcmyony?! Unless you're planning on cheating, then surely it would? (Daily fluctuations permitting, of course)

Really well done. Here's to your first stone! Flowers

Not planning on cheating. Haven't cheated once apart from alcohol and even that has been diet tonic and gin or vodka and soda EXCEOT a bottle of rose!

Bryonyshcmyony · 31/07/2021 12:46

And thank you. I cannot quite believe that in a couple of months I should be under 12 stone and on my way to a healthy BMI
I am beginning to feel so much more confident.

MrsKoala · 31/07/2021 13:53

LOVE THE BATHROOM! LOVE THE COLOURS.

This is our annex loo @Ifeelmuchlessfat so strong colours work in small spaces and don’t have to cover all walls. We used a Valspar superior colour which is wipeable.

I hope everyone is doing well. I’ve been too busy to join in much as the summer hol activities are taking up all my time. Should quieten download next week as the kids have some clubs to go to so I can get on with the housework.

I’m still koko and catching up when I can.

Well done Bryonyshcmyony, here's to your last 2lb!

I've been to Morrisons and got lamb breast, pork belly and skin on chicken thighs (no sausages or ham!). I also found Hellman's mayo on offer which is lower carb than the Aldi one. Not sure what to use instead of Philadelphia to flavour a creamy sauce.

Yesterday's food
B mushrooms and kale fried in butter, fried egg, one sausage
L chicken mayo and salad
D lamb and chicken tikka, mushroom bhaji and cauliflower rice

Today
B bacon, fried egg, mushrooms and kale
L quiche without crust, salad with two cherry tomatoes, feta and olive oil
D will be same as last night but will add some green veg

Any critiques/pointers very welcome.

Rayna37 · 31/07/2021 17:53

KateF I use creme fraiche or sour cream, or thick double cream, as the basis for a sauce. I do use own brand Philadelphia sometimes too though.

DS and DH have had a sickness and diarrhoea bug this week which has been fun, miraculously I've avoided so far. Been eating all sorts, though at least a couple of nights out planned for this weekend have had to be shelved. Planning ahead I've got a lunch/afternoon group play date (rare as I'm full time) this week where I'll be cake dodging and then my DSD's 21st next weekend with family staying over, so not the most auspicious start to a bootcamp!

Would like to get to the bottom of my maintenance range before a holiday in September so will try to be strict where I can! Floating around 5-7lbs over this currently.

Ifeelmuchlessfat · 31/07/2021 18:11

@MrsKoala that looks lovely too, I can obviously be more adventurous in small spaces. Thanks
