Morning all.

Sorry if you're chomping at the bit to announce your loss this morning!

Here's the spreadsheet

Some great losses already posted, so well done.

But don't despair if you haven't lost as much as others. Remember, this isn't a competition. We're all here with different startpoints, and everyone loses at a different rate anyway.

@Mimosa1 omg that pork belly recipe/technique sounds great! I can never perfect my crackling though I think you might have just solved the riddle!

LemonSea · 20/10/2020 14:39

Oneborneverydecade congrats on under 13 stone, that’s a lot of weight in just three months! I can’t pull my knickers up any higher, wish I could, my size 14s can’t handle it. I am probably a size 18/20 in knickers but refusing to buy a bigger size Grin.

IncurablyCurious · 20/10/2020 14:46

Just popping on to say WOW, those photos and posts @prettybird @Takingontheworld and @Ifeelmuchlessfat Shock They are so good to see and read, thank you for sharing. It really gives those of us closer to the start of this WOE something to look forward to and stay motivated for.

I was feeling fancy today, so lunch was a burrata and smoked salmon salad. Dinner is going to be pulled pork, with creamy celeriac mash. Still a bit incredulous that this is helping me lose weight, but 100% going with it!

Takingontheworld · 20/10/2020 15:06
@BIWI - I expected a reduction (yes I did read the FAQs don't hit me!) but I went from yesterday lunchtime to this morning and even then it was a push to eat.
Didn't really expect it to be so drastic.
I became completely indifferent to food in week 1. I almost found it scary, as someone who had been unable to exercise any self control over food previously and was prone to binging.

It does settle down, i didn't like not enjoying food, I'd say around week 4/5 i started being able to enjoy my meals and enjoy the feeling of genuinely not being hungry or panic eating food.

I'd say its what stopped me falling off the wagon when weight loss completely stops in week 3 and 4 though. Usually I'd have given up a dived into the chocolate but i honestly didn't even care about food to do so. So glad i didn't give up now I'm almost 3st down!

Rshard · 20/10/2020 15:16

Thanks for the Caesar salad dressing recipe searchesforhipbones, have taken a screen shot

fizzfridays · 20/10/2020 15:23

Ooh @Mimosa1 thank you that sounds delicious- this is going first on my list for when I'm recovered! I'm also looking forward to having a glass of fizz, fingers crossed can have a celebration meal over Halloween weekend.

Food today:
B: crushed avocado and slice of Gouda
L: egg, mushrooms and frankfurters (sorry they are processed but they are high quality ones!)
D: planning pesto salmon with creamy leeks and broccoli

Will probably have a small piece of Brie later while watching bake off- I love it but it feels a bit masochistic during bootcamp so having a low carb snack to hand feels sensible!

poorbuthappy · 20/10/2020 15:39

@Takingontheworld - thank you. It good to hear that I'm not alone or weird! (Well that's still up for debate....Grin)

ponygirlcurtis · 20/10/2020 15:48

What an amazing difference, @Takingontheworld. Very motivating! I also took a picture of my side tum this morning, @LemonSea, very similar view! Hoping to reduce it.

Had an ok couple of days (same menu yesterday and today):

B: have never eaten breakfast, so fast until 12pm
L: tuna fishcakes from the fish recipe thread, with salad dressed in a bit of olive oil and a splash of lemon, greek yogurt + a bit of protein powder to follow
D: leftover Hairy Bikers beef stroganoff from the weekend, with additional veg, plus creme fraiche and cheese added for extra fat.
Snacks: 1 boiled egg mashed with cheese and mayo
Lots of water...

20bloodypounds · 20/10/2020 16:09

Very disappointed that today's veg box didn't have courgettes in it for the soup. Will have to concoct something out of broccoli. Or maybe cabbage... do you think you can make cream of cabbage soup?

Thank you!

Solongsugar · 20/10/2020 16:21

2lb up, will have that off and more next week, watch this space!

Anotherducker · 20/10/2020 16:27

Made the cheese burger pie today. I think I just have done something wrong because I seem to have made beef cheesecake!

Anotherducker · 20/10/2020 16:51

Just read back, thanks for sharing the photos everyone.

I’m one belt hole smaller today! Which is strange as I feel fatter which is obviously ridiculous. I think I’ve had my head in the sand about my stomach fat for so long I’d just stop noticing how out of proportion my middle is. Anyway I’ve noticed now and it’s on it’s way out.

ZiggZagg · 20/10/2020 17:37

Been so busy today, just realized I have only had 2 boiled eggs and a babybel Smile

Having Sausage and Shakshooka for tea.

vivariumvivariumsvivaria · 20/10/2020 17:40

I missed last week's registration on account of being an idiot. Can I still join in?

MaudesMum · 20/10/2020 18:19

@20bloodypounds: Broccolli and blue cheese soup is really nice - but that's no use if you don't have any stilton or similar!

I've discovered the best motivation ever - cold ankles! I got to the end of the summer and realised I couldn't fit into most of my jeans. As a result, I'm mainly wearing two pairs of cropped jeans in a larger size that I bought over the summer. The gap is now starting to get a bit chilly, but I refuse to buy any new jeans when hopefully a few more weeks of this will enable me to fit into some of the ones I already have!

I'm interested in this brie soup - it's a not a cheese I'd thought of a suitable for souping before. Does it melt completely, or hang around in little gobbets? (that would put me off...)

ZiggaZiggArrgggghhhh · 20/10/2020 18:59

Me too, scary Spice Girl Grin

Searchesforhipbones · 20/10/2020 19:14

Taco meat for dinner (onions red pepper green beans cumin chili mince stock pot tomato paste)

Served on lettuce with avocado, grated cheese, sour cream and a bit of pumpkin puree.

Rayna37 · 20/10/2020 19:40

B: scrambled eggs
L: Greek salad followed by yogurt
D: a saag paneer side dish as a main, on cauli rice. Not one for ready meals generally but it was heavily reduced and a really good low carb choice. DH and DS has fish and chips and I didn't even pinch a chip Shock The toddler had started asking "Mummy go to work and Daddy and me have fish and chips?" Obviously he's missing my work trips away more than I am!

Cheese heavy day especially with a chink of manchego after dinner to distract me from the chips! Plenty of water drink though.

TeddyIsaHe · 20/10/2020 19:48

Successful day, and loving seeing everyone’s photos! I’m going to dig out my jeans and see how much further up my thighs I can get them now.

ZiggaZiggArrgggghhhh · 20/10/2020 19:53

Silly question, I know we're not counting carbs but actually around how many "should" we be having?

Also, does anyone know if the cheese crisps will be ok in the fridge overnight or in the cupboard?Blush

SailingandSauvignon · 20/10/2020 20:06

@AthelstaneTheUndeady
Hello, please may I be added as starting this week?
I was just going to tag along but I am thinking (hoping) that adding my weight every week will make me more likely to stick with it and succeed. My confidence is somewhat in my boots at the mo, so by hiding I thought I’d not have to admit to my weight & struggles.
Really inspired to read everyone’s stories and would love to be able to take a couple of pound of my total next week.
I weighed in at 176lbs yesterday and today.
Many thanks

AthelstaneTheUndeady · 20/10/2020 20:14

Of course, @SailingandSauvignon!

And no need for confidence in advance, either - no need to put any pressure on yourself at all. Give it a whirl and see how you get on, is all Flowers
