MOIST · 13/09/2017 06:03

Oh scrummy little squishy pink baby. How lovely.

I consider myself slapped (with a slice of belly pork). And I have pulled myself together. KoKo and #mygreekfatcanpissrightoff.

Stop with the Alfie pics C4, it's making me broody and DH says we can't have any more babbies WinkGrin

Veryflummoxed · 13/09/2017 07:35

Sorry Everyone. I wrote a long post replying to individual posts and lost it. So off the top of my head it's congrats for non scale victories. Very impressed by hair photos. And sorry Moist that you are letting the fat get you down. In the immortal words of C4 tell it to Piss right off and try to enjoy your holiday. You deserve it. Sorry everyone else.

TempusEejit · 13/09/2017 07:40

Bmi 25 😀 finally

User5trillion · 13/09/2017 08:04

Naked this morning I was 14.8st, I know I will probably bounce back up but I am taking it! My dreaded 3-4 week stall is due any minute but happy to stall at this number - was 15.9 a month ago.

Had a lush dinner roasted shoulder of pork with garlic butter kale and broccoli, served with 2 tbsps of gravy (bisto) but I ran the gravy through the pan and collected all the garlic butter. Yum.

Ahhh lovely baby. Getting broody now.

hippadoppaloppagorillapig · 13/09/2017 08:08

Well done littlebillie onwards and downwards!

C4pinkwheels · 13/09/2017 08:22

Littlebillie Amazing result, have a celebration pork scratching,

Last day at home, off at 4:30am tomorrow morning. I have to confess that dinner last night was a stick of celery with cream cheese and two g&t's, it would appear that having not drunk any alcohol for six months this year I'm now making up for lost time. I wish I hadn't bought that bottle of Tankeray.

B. Yogurt
L. Cuddles with Alfie
D. The chicken and roast veg I didn't have yesterday as I was sewing until 10:00pm

Thank you C4 hippa user5 I am pleased but looking at my holiday photos I still don't look slim. I started boot camp a few weeks ago and I think toning up will be essential . Also bmi at 23 will look very different. I think I am still wanting to lose more but tone up too Smile

YoLoZammo · 13/09/2017 09:11

What a lovely morning of positivity. Love it!

Well done everyone for all the good things happening.

TempusEejit · 13/09/2017 09:29

Well done littlebillie, I bet you look fab. I know you still feel big but it often takes our brains a while to catch up with our new reality.

Also well done on your stone off user5

Mimosa1 · 13/09/2017 10:11

Well done billie and user - amazing Smile

ilovecherries · 13/09/2017 11:18

I wish my waist fat would bugger off. I know it must have reduced a lot as previously I was wearing size 20 trousers, and now I'm wearing a 14-16. But it must have buggered off from my bum and thighs at a quicker rate, because everything is baggy/loose/droopy but my waist won't fit into anything smaller. Plus my waist is the thing that is still generating a face like a cat's bum hole from the practice nurse.

Morning (just) all! Nice NSV at the Drs earlier as the pharmacist complemented my weight loss (she's a school mum too). Made up for weight still being the same today, can't seem to get under 173lbs!

1.5l of water by 11am, so that's going well.
Brunch was 3 rashers of Bacon, fried kale and half a pack of Lidl stuffed chillies in oil. Yum!

Dinner will be chicken korma (not particularly low carb, but OK) with Kale or courgetti.

Oldbooks I think bootcut look less frumpy in black, also I have the tall hourglass shape (under all the fat) that seems to suit them. I'll wear them to uni tomorrow and see if I'm cast out for my fashion crime ;)

TempusEejit · 13/09/2017 12:40

Just had an NSV - I went to re-enroll at uni this morning and bumped into someone else on my course - she said "have you lost a ton of weight...there's nothing of you!" Unfortunately there is still rather a lot of me but it was nice to hear all the same Smile

NOMOREoatcakesandcheese · 13/09/2017 13:57

Hi all I've not been around much as we're busy sorting and packing stuff away ready for the building work to start on our extension. We had to hire a storage facility to put everything in. I'm not looking forward to it but it will be worth it to get a new and bigger kitchen, dining area and sitting area. And a utility room to store all the dog stuff and muddy boots and coats!!

I'm doing fine with my SSS, apart from since I came from my hol in Wales at the weekend I've been constipated bunged up - I've been drinking over 3L of water, upped my magnesium and salt, had more veg and been drinking psyllium powder in water it's like cold sick But I'm happy to report today that I've finally been!!

Well done to all you losers and NSVs and sympathies to all those struggling with issues
Can we have more pics of Alfie, please??

Are we almost ready for another thread?

Mimosa1 · 13/09/2017 15:46

Congrats on all the NSVs including, the..err.. movement, oatcakes Grin

Finally tried cinnamon in Total yoghurt - it's a revelation. Masks that cheese taste that I really didn't like and brings out the sweetness without any added sugar.

On that topic, could anyone tell me why many posters add cream to their ff yoghurt? Is it to add fat? Texture?

NOMOREoatcakesandcheese · 13/09/2017 16:05

I add creme fraiche to yoghurt and sometimes mascarpone cheese - I love it

ragz134 · 13/09/2017 16:24

I add extra thick cream for the fat and creaminess, plus it makes it feel more like a treat.

In fact, I had a bowlful this afternoon as I felt in need!

StuntNun · 13/09/2017 17:36

Adding cream to yogurt decreases the carbs slightly and dramatically increases the fat content. Greek yogurt is only about 7% fat whereas double cream is nearly half fat. I make my own yogurt so I start with 2 litres of whole milk and 600 ml double cream. I also let it culture for longer than needed so it's even lower in carbs.

NOMOREoatcakesandcheese · 13/09/2017 17:54

Stuntnun what's your recipe as I might make some. DH makes our yogurt starting with Yeo natural or Costco or Aldi Greek. Since I've been doing this woe I've stuck to total yogurt instead as I wasn't sure about the level of fat in it.

hippadoppaloppagorillapig · 13/09/2017 18:16

ilove I'm sure it will bugger off soon!

Have you tried mixing mascarpone and almond butter and leaving it in the fridge for a few hours? It goes like ice cream, yummers!

Just having my lovely tea of spinach, watercress and rocket, tuna & cheddar, all heated up and melty. It's amazing!

C4pinkwheels · 13/09/2017 18:22

No Alfie today I'm afraid but here is a finished wedding quilt.
I'm shattered and feel as if I have a mountain to climb, it's called packing.
