Morning all!

Here's the Spreadsheet of Fabulousness for your delectation and - hopefully - delight

I hope you've seen good results this morning

Look forward to hearing how you've all got on, and here's to a good week 2

Thanks for the Aldi tip offs Eightiesmate. Really need things like that in the fridge for emergencies so good to know they sell decent prepared stuff.

Polkadotties · 05/11/2016 11:08

I'm going to lakeside shopping centre this evening, anyone got any tips of where I can grab some dinner. I normally head to wasabi and have a chicken katsu curry but obviously that's a no no at the moment

Visaste · 05/11/2016 17:11

BIWI Sorry to hear you had such a stressful day on Thursday. Can't believe the client didn't provide lunch for a lunch meeting! Proper rubbish. Flowers That curry sounds good. I am eating lots of homemade curry at the mo because I'm not eating dairy so it's good to have a new and v quick recipe :)

My food today:
Breakfast - Alpro plain yoghurt with coconut
Lunch - mushroom omelette fried in coconut oil, salad
Dinner will be cod fillet and piles of veg
Loads of water

Eightiesmate · 05/11/2016 17:31

This evening is sirloin steak, fried mushrooms and some onion and cauli rice and parsley fried in. I've added a little garlic to the fried veg. It is gorgeous!

Eightiesmate · 05/11/2016 17:31

Forgot the pic!

That curry isn't gourmet by any stretch of the imagination - but it hits the spot when there's not much else to choose from!

Back on track after my carby errors last night:

B: scrambled eggs and avocado, coffee with cream
L: creamy chicken casserole
D: salmon with pesto, leeks and broccoli, cauliflower mash
S: will probably have some yoghurt later

Did Zumba and body balance.

nekobus · 05/11/2016 22:16

My day started really well but I've had a few slip ups over dinner (entertaining) but I'm back on it and not going to let it derail me. Smile

B - BPC, chicken breast bits dipped in mayo
L - avocado, hb egg, coleslaw, chicken
D - chilli, cheese, then a few carby things I won't mention here Confused

prettybird · 05/11/2016 23:24

Been doing really well all week - and as long as my sneaky peeks at the scales stay true to Monday, should show a big 1st week reduction just shows how much fluid retention I had

Been struggling a bit with eating enough veg, but have now done a shopping and have good supplies of veg - plus the ingredients for a mahoosive coleslaw.

Getting back into the way of drinking more water really helps. Still having too much tea but at least am substituting the daytime teas with herb teas (Buttermint and peppermint & liquorice are particular favourites)

Had to make tablet last night (my dad is off to South Africa for a couple of months and this was for him to take with him as gifts): anyone who has tried some of my tablet know how incredibly more-ish and chockablock full of sugar Blush it is - so I did really well to constrain myself to the one ball I had to rest for soft ball stage and one small piece (chose one of the smallest ones) to check whether the result was the right texture. I even resisted all of the scrapings - scraped the pot and left it ready for ds to enjoy Smile Felt very smug Grin

This came on top of making a double batch of chocolate chip cookies for ds' rugby teams (the one he's just left that we still have an involvement with and the one he has just joined). Didn't eat a single one Shock (And the boys really appreciated the cookies post match)

Double smug Grin

So all in all starting to be a bit more positive and actually do things rather than just think about what I should be doing Smile

blackteaplease · 06/11/2016 09:08

Hello all, I have had a delayed start to joining this time as we were away but I got a spiriliser for my birthday today and will be on it now.

Would someone be able to add me to the spreadsheet with a start weight of 141 lbs please?

I need to be more organised for work, there is a tuck shop which is my downfall for snacking. I have put on 3lbs since returning to work after mat leave. Also I am drinking too much coffee and not enough water.

WentworthMillerMad · 06/11/2016 09:58

Same as you eightiesmate on Friday! I missed my wine so cleaned bathrooms and had a huge herbal tea and early nights to avoid the wine!
Had a gorgeous wedding yesterday in St. Andrews. I drove and enjoyed a fab cheese board on the buffet. Drank fizzy water with lime and ice as my 'gin and tonic'. Lovely family time and dancing.
Lots of gardening today and fresh air and water! Roast chicken and veg later.

wombattoo · 06/11/2016 16:08

blacktea I have added you to the s/s

Veryflummoxed · 06/11/2016 18:33

Hi all.

Didn't post yesterday but managed to resist all carby goodies despite family bonfire night gathering

Today's food a little odd as it's been using up the leftovers from yesterday, so again resisting the unmentionables, I've had

B. Two pigs in blankets (chipolata size) with hm coleslaw a couple of mini mozzarella balls, tiny bit of sundried tomato.

Coffee with cream

L hm beef burgers with melted cheese, coleslaw and salad leaves.

D three pigs in blankets with two fried eggs.

bettyblueeyes83 · 06/11/2016 21:02

Phew, just had quite the afternoon cooking in prep for this week, feeling so organised! Halo Made cauliflower and pancetta soup for lunches and keto garlic and rosemary focaccia to go with it, and prepped fish casserole to cook when I get in after work tomorrow.

B: coffee and cream, scrambled eggs and avocado
L: lamb kofte, halloumi, salad, yoghurt
D: salmon with creamy pesto, leeks, broccoli
S: of course I had to try a bit of the focaccia to check it was OK...it's BC lite as it's got ground almonds in but was only a tiny bit! I'm now on the rose lemonade tea, thanks whoever recommended it!

Exercise was Zumba and yoga.

DearPrudence · 06/11/2016 21:55

Nice to see everyone having a good weekend. Especially around tablet!

I had my first real test today - invited for dinner at friend's house. I stuck to meat and veg, and drank water. But then I got home and ate more food. Still low-carb, but WTF?

B (late, 10.30am ish) bolognese sauce. Not full so ate mozzarella.
L - nothing, because of late breakfast
D - chicken, a few carrots, cabbage and leek, olives, feta. Then got home and had some of DH's leftover steak with Boursin and more mozzarella.

I feel like I must have eaten too much today. On the plus side, I seem to have transformed from someone who can hardly walk around town, to feeling like I'm bursting with energy. I trotted/bounced up the stairs in Dunelm Mill today. Honestly, before I started this I was dragging myself up and down stairs. It's really remarkable.

prettybird · 06/11/2016 22:58

Resisted the tablet (that hadn't gone to SA) again tonight Grin - offered it to dh and a friend after supper to have with coffee and didn't have any myself! Smile will gloss over the wine I had with the meal

Good day: breakfast and lunch of various salamis plus some over cooked caramelised roasted pumpkin and then supper of the pork belly & chorizo stew with for me cauliflower in butter everyone else had rice

Lots of water. No tablet

Too much tea.

Did I mention I resisted the tablet? Wink

PlayNice · 06/11/2016 23:51

Eep, I realise I'm late but I would love to join. I've tried BC before but never managed the full whack. Hopefully the 6 weeks left will be manageable even for me.

Flisspaps · 07/11/2016 07:33

181.8 - had op on Thursday so have spent the weekend recovering.

Prepped 4 portions of broccoli cheese with bacon yesterday, and beef stew in the slow cooker for tonight (shallots, no carrot)

SestraClone · 07/11/2016 08:28

Hope everyone saw great losses this week :) I forgot to weigh last week, but I am down 5lbs today. I am amazed considering I have been BCing for a few months now! I have lost a total of 51lbs now.

danTDM · 07/11/2016 09:15

wow sestra WELL DONE!

I'm not weighing, but deffo slimmer esp tum. Now I'm going onto low carb lite.

NotdeadyetBOING · 07/11/2016 09:37

Morning all. Haven't had a chance to catch up with the thread properly, but wanted to pop in to report today's weight: 136 lb. Pleased with that.

Have been eating mainly roasted veg (cubes of celeriac, courgette, aubergine, red pepper etc.) in loads of olive oil with either salmon, chicken or sausage. Plenty of cheese for snacks. Need more inspiration food wise as getting slightly bored, although the roasted veg is v. tasty. Will head off to look through recipe thread later….

plumstone · 07/11/2016 10:23

Morning all, My scales have died - stepped on and had put on a pound, from Friday, then stepped on again and had put on 2lbs, and then stepped on again and it stayed blank!!!

Have old battery and will repurchase at lunch!!!

prettybird · 07/11/2016 10:31

Still haven't got round to putting my name on the spreadsheet but I've lost 7lb Shock! Ok I know most of that is water Grin

Down from 14st 13lb to 14lb 6lb. only 4 stone to go Blush

Definitely losing my sugar cravings. Getting better at eating more veg.

lisbapalea · 07/11/2016 11:21

Wish I hadn't weighed in on Friday as today I appear to be the same as last Monday, despite Friday showing a 4lb loss in 4 days! I did lapse into a few occasions of bootcamp light over the weekend but haven't strayed further than that.

Have also come down with a bug and have a horrible sore throats so wallowing in lots of self pity!

Won't use it as an excuse for bad eating though - KOKO and all that!

PippilottaViktualia · 07/11/2016 11:28

Well done Sestra Grin and everyone else who's lost. I've had yet ANOTHER week with. O loss, need to find a way to break this, it's really getting me down now!
