Captain - spreadsheet updated.
I have been doing well. I have eaten the same things for breakfast and lunch egg mayo and roast chicken thighs. For dinner I have just had slow roasted belly pork with crackling, a bit of carrot and loads of cabbage with butter. It was delicious.

Yum, my dinner is this...
Chopped cooked chicken breast into hot pan sizzling with melted butter. Waited a few minutes until the chicken went crispy, using a potato peeler I 'peeled' courgette strips into the pan. Cooked it for a further few minted then topped with grated cheese and slid out onto the plate. Cracked black pepper on top and a delicious meal made in under 10 minutes.

I've not lost this week, but i've been low carbing since beginning August and find my weight stays the same for 3/4 weeks then drops by a few lbs..... I do feel better drinking more water, and although i've missed the usual raspberries/blueberries in the morning, I've survived. It's been great to get some more recipes, as a vegetarian it can be a bit challenging at times. Some fab losses though from others, well done all!!

Looks good, eighties, I love a quick recipe!

Today's been ok, lunch was provided at an all day meeting but was really easy to make LC as it was proper hot food not sandwiches for a change!

B - 2 hb eggs and butter, bacon, coffee
L - salmon, cauli, broccoli, salad, asparagus lots of butter
D - roast chicken, lots of crispy skin and celery & shallots (roasted under chicken)
S - 2 babybel, a few slices chorizo, olives
Lots of water

Report
lisbapalea · 02/11/2016 22:02

That chicken looks lovely and that pork and chorizo is also going on my list of things to do!

B - yogurt with cinnamon
L - fried egg, half an avocado, grated cheese and two slices of salami
D - home made Swedish meatballs (pork and beef mince bound with an egg with a finely chopped onion fried in butter mixed through, with allspice and seasoning), with a creamy gravy made with pan juices, stock and cream, some red cabbage, cavolo Nero and broccoli. Delicious!

My week 1 weigh in (I started late) shows a 3.6lb loss which I am really happy with. I'll admit to one slip up, a glass of red wine last night (at a painfully long PTA meeting) but to be honest didn't enjoy it and feel a bit shit this morning.

On the upside, had leftover paneer makhani and cauliflower rice for breakfast which was gorgeous!

Keep up the good work everyone!

Didn't get on to post yesterday's food

B: eggs and bacon
L: half a tuna mayo salad
D: steak, aubergine tomato cheese dish, market greens, béarnaise sauce, side salad (at Flatiron - this was so yum)
S: ate early and walked a lot during the day so was hungry in evening - had a bulletproof chai latte and some feta and olives

ChesterDrawers · 03/11/2016 09:10

First full day back on it yesterday went well, although I suspect I didn't eat enough as only two meals and probably not enough water either. I did resist a plate of garlic bread that was left over from tea even though it smelt amazing.

Once I get over the first few days, I know I'll be fine and can tell myself that any slip ups will undo all my hard work, but those first few days, when it's so easy to say 'I'll start properly tomorrow' are tough!

Today's plan:
B: eggs, butter
L: left over spag bol
D: salmon, roasted asparagus, swede chunks, all cooked in lots of olive oil

Got circuits class at gym too, which should be fun with this cold!

No idea what the carb content is - sorry!! I tend to not count and use the spreadsheet on this to keep everything to less than 5gms per 100gms IYSWIM.

Feel so much better today - last night was spent planning and on line food shopping all due to arrive just after I get home from work tomorrow night - My "Death to Diet" time is between 7pm Friday night and 11am Saturday. Usually due to all food being consumed by lunch time on Friday and not doing my shopping till mid morning on a Saturday - this will not beat me and hopefully having food arrive on Friday evening will stop the "Ah Fuck it" mentality!! Aim is to get up Saturday morning, eat breakfast and then batch cook till lunch time have lunch and then walk lots for the afternoon!!! then dinner - no slip ups Plum, No slip ups repeat until desired affect of 136 is visible on the scales!!

Have a great Thursday all!! xoxo

Was feeling a bit sorry for myself walking round Morrisons so decided to make myself something really yummy. Had chicken thighs with harissa on, a big salad, some olives, feta and tzatziki. Was delicious!

Slow roasting some belly pork slices to eat later. We're going to the school fireworks display this evening and I want to stay away from the hot dogs, burgers, hot chocolate and mulled wine.

A sneaky peak at the scales this morning and I appear to have dropped a couple of pounds. Hope it's still off for the spreadsheet Monday.

B cold roast breast of lamb with cucumber (I'd never have believed I'd enjoy this not so long ago)

L pkt pork scratchings.

D corned beef hash (shallots, swede and celeriac instead of potatoes and onions) and sprouts.

Felt fed up with myself yesterday as I had breakfast late, then ended up eating at 4.30pm. So I called that dinner. Also didn't have enough veg. So today, I was determined to follow boot camp properly.

B - lamb keema, total yoghurt (odd but delicious)
L - home-made burger, salad, bit of cheese
D - bolognese sauce, cabbage & leek in butter, broccoli

Really bad day for me. Didn't get to eat any lunch until 6.00pm because I was travelling, nothing en route easy to get/low carb. No lunch provided by client, despite lunchtime meeting. So ended up with a M&S sandwich at 6.00pm Angry

Was also at an evening work function, where canapés were served. The usual 'no', 'no', 'no' can't have any of that, so I avoided most of them, especially after the sandwich!

Good today was mainly courtesy of Pret A Manger as I was stuck between meetings. Think I managed ok though:

B - yogurts with cinnamon and a coffee
L - Pret crayfish and avocado salad
D - Pret chicken salad.

Have had about 2.5l of water and 3 coffees which was prob too much.

Def feel slimmer and am tempted to weigh tomorrow but probably should wait until Monday.

Feeling really drained all day today, not sure why so far in! Managed spin this morning but just barely. Am KOKO and taking my magnesium/potassium/drinking bouillon.

B: scrambled eggs, smoked salmon, wilted rocket and spinach, two cherry toms, coffee with cream
L: Waitrose chicken and chorizo soup, cheese
D: creamy chicken cauliflower and leek casserole, salad
S: yoghurt and cream, cup of bouillon, black coffee

Thought the soup was a good quick choice but big mistake - read the wrong line on the back and was much higher carb than I thought Blush
