Morning all.

Here's the Spreadsheet of Fabulousness which looks a bit different this morning! All the tabs appear to be at the top now! No idea what's going on there.

I hope that week 3 hasn't been too unkind to you all, but if you have found that your weight loss has stopped, or even that you've put a pound or so back on, don't worry!

It's your body adjusting to the new regime. Just KOKO (keep on keeping on) and you'll be fine. Things will get moving again very soon, although be prepared for a lower weekly loss from here on in - around 1-2lbs a week, which is a perfect and more sustainable way to lose.

Here's to a good week 4!

5lbs down I have FINALLY broken the 13.8 barrier which I have been stuck at for weeks/ months. Off to body pump with a spring in my stride.

Have a great sat everyone I will catch up on the thread later x

cathyandclaire · 06/06/2015 09:21

Woo 5lb, well done Blessed, I'm 0.6lb down Grin. ..but every little helps!

I've definitely noticed that for me a couple of hours in the garden seems to help weight loss more than a session at the gym, lovely day here ( not Cayman Islands nice obviously :) ) so may get out there again and tackle the swathes of ground elder.

B:Yoghurt and a few berries
L: Smoked salmon pate and salad
D: Out with friends but the restaurant do lots of meaty things so probs a steak and salad washed down with a glass of something no doubt

Another 0.4lb to go before weigh in, so I can start moving down again.

ewanhoozami · 06/06/2015 09:42

Well done Blessed. I've just started body pump and really enjoying it. When I last regularly went to the gym (years ago) I was still under the misapprehension that endless cardio slogging was the way to go. I'm starting to see much better results through strength conditioning already.

ewanhoozami · 06/06/2015 09:47

Yesterday:

B - Bullet proof bovril made with dripping (am I going to convince anyone else to try this Grin )
L - Egg mayo salad
D - spicy fennel and cauliflower soup with loads of EVOO

And then I had to face carbs in the line of duty as had some unexpected catering prep to do. A few dutiful tastes here and there and I avoided the worst of it.

I need more people to order my paleo menu!

plumstone · 06/06/2015 10:53

Morning all, hope all is well. Finally have a car so hit the shops and bought lots of LC friendly food!

Today:

B - bacon and eggs fried in butter and BPC
L - Brie & lettuce wraps and a bag of pork scratching so
D - pork belly and fried courgette
W - have bought liter bottles so will see how I get on with three bottles as opposed to 6 x 500mls

Have a great weekend all xoxo

trashcanjunkie · 06/06/2015 13:42

Ewan, I'm totally there with regards to the drinking of dripping. In fact, I may do a roast beef on Monday night to get said dripping. Can't till then as have guests for dinner tonight and we're supposed to be cooking but I'm going to get us takeaway instead. Lc for us, and whatever they fancy. I'm hoping for curry. Mmmmm curry. Tomorrow going to Mil for Sunday dinner. Bless her she makes a huge effort, so the food will be normal, but with lc, dairy free options for me and also veggie options for dsil.

Weight still up from exercise related swelling/fluid. Have got the feet up today to try and counter. Started back on vit d3 and might order some vit c super strength. What are the other vits for tiredness? Magnesium?

Tetley, I've been meaning to say for ages, I am also a dirty plate licker. I sneak off to the kitchen to do it if I'm not alone....

BIWI · 06/06/2015 13:57

Vitamin B complex, trash?

OP posts:
trashcanjunkie · 06/06/2015 13:58

Right, will order some immediately. Bloody bored the shit off with tired. It's so last season.

trashcanjunkie · 06/06/2015 14:36

Done. Kaboom!

blessedenough · 06/06/2015 14:49

EWAN - I have just started bodypump too and i LOVE it. I do circuits as well. I am hoping to build some muscle after my years of fad diets and SW I don't want to end up skinny fat - although currently just fat fat!!
I upped my weights today and boy did i notice it, I was like a one woman gurning contest!

Marks daily apple and other paleo sites are always on about weights over cardio and as I am pants at cardio I have been giving it a bash. Currently trying to run 5k as well but I am rubbish at running. I do think most of my 5lbs was water retention from totm but I will take it. Its second totm in 3 weeks which I believe is a sign of fat loss so whilst annoying all good.

B- BPC
L- Fatty mince with cheese and spinach
D- Not sure yet off for a fridge raid

Gcalgske · 06/06/2015 16:32

Trash you've just sent me off to check I have the fixings for curry, mmmmm!
B: coffee & cream
L: ham, cheese, butter, cucumber
D: chicken curry with spicy buttery spinach.
Ewan have you tried it with dripping from the butcher or just stuff from cooking? I normally buy a big tub of it to roast swede in and make low carb stovies.

readyforno2 · 06/06/2015 17:43

Just made chicken and bacon egg fried cauliflower rice. It was delicious! I urge you all to give it a go

ditavonteesed · 06/06/2015 18:02

b ff greek yogurt
l prawns, eggs and spinach
d bbq (yum)

BIWI · 06/06/2015 18:11

Served with roasted tenderstem broccoli, leeks in cheese sauce, and asparagus with butter.

OP posts:
trashcanjunkie · 06/06/2015 18:45

So breakfast this morning was bolognese with a green salad consisting entirely of round lettuce (dressed in oil obvs) and some slaw made with red and white cabbage..

Luncheon was these fucking incredible burgers from the farm I stayed on last weekend (defrosted) 100% beef and a couple of chipolatas from the same place, with some fried courgette.

And dinner is going to be curry gcal Grin

I'm also going to enjoy a couple of glasses of prosecco with the lovely neighbours.

I'm currently still in bed Blush well, I have been up and keep drifting back here. Dp has just gone to walk the hounds and I'm about to finish watching Mary Berry on iplayer. Even though the food she makes is all wrong for bc I find her hugely comforting.

ewanhoozami · 06/06/2015 19:16

Gcal usually dripping that's come off meat I've cooked, but I noticed that my butcher does beef dripping that looks proper job.

I made bone broth in the slow cooker today, I love that stuff. Makes me go all cavewoman.

saranghae · 06/06/2015 20:44

You've reminded me to get back to body pump, used to think I did a hard work out on the cardio machines then I went to the class and ended up shaking and aching the next day. Worth it though.

Tried to do shopping this afternoon, mainly to find something that would fit me and look nice. Unfortunately it was a fail on botb parts.Just felt so angry that I'd let myself get this far and the fact I searched the whole store to find something that fit was awful. Even more determined to lose weight and for once not have to worry about going shopping because I know nothing I like will fit. Going to keep at it!

In the end I bought a book and some bright trainers and sandals, at least my shoes will look great.Grin

Anyway : food today
Spinach, kale fried in butter, 2 eggs.
Rosemary chicken with roasted swede and courgette with mayo.
Tuna, kale, spinach, cucumber with mayo - kale does not taste nice raw, always cooked it..

Oh yeah stopped in lidl on the way home, If you can eat meat, they have kangaroo steaks and ostrich steaks. And I found some sweetened and unsweetened soya milk too.

Hope you enjoy the weekend and sorry for the long post.

lisbapalea · 06/06/2015 20:47

So today has been ok despite worries about the contents of my parents' fridge! Lots of funny looks from my mum though, who thinks all fat is evil.

B - 2 eggs scrambled with cream, with spinach
L - abandoned picnic as it wasn't actually very warm, so we went to cafe rouge instead! Had roast chicken with salad and cooked spinach
D - two field mushrooms roasted and topped with a piece of salami and Brie until all melty, with roast cauliflower

Lots of water, two coffees and 2 squares of dark chocolate.

Patapouf · 06/06/2015 21:16

Thanks Dita and Romey Smile
L: Osso Bucco with spinach and lots of salad
D: salmon steaks with cauliflower and salad and a strange spinach cake that wasn't strictly LC (made with honey) but at least it was almond flour rather than normal!

I'm so relieved there seems to be a lot of choice for food, I've so far managed to resist the mountains of fruit and baklava the same cannot be said for the unlimited free prosecco

I'm really hoping to STS this week and not gain anything. I had a loss at the beginning of the week but I may ignore that so I can tell myself I've maintained!

LexLoofah · 06/06/2015 22:02

gcal yep I have the Neil med, it is gross but worthwhile - hope you are feeling better

B - courgtte omelette, cuppa, creamy coffee
L - at a bistro so ordered the chicken, bacon, avocado baguette without the baguette, they put it on a salad for me with lemon mayo - how lovely
The worlds strongest french coffee w cream, a few strawberries and cream
d - will be doing roast beef, swede and broccoli w butter - will save the dripping for roasting and ewan I might have some in hot marmite too

monkeyfacegrace · 07/06/2015 10:40

Fucking pissed off.

Being saintly this week. All week. Had some wine last night as it's Saturday.

1lb up today. I just cannot get this fat off me. Im destined to be disgusting forever.

trashcanjunkie · 07/06/2015 11:16

Morning all Grin

saranghae I know exactly what you mean with regards to clothes shopping. Patience and determination are the right answer. Congrats on lovely shoes.

Neighbours came for said takeaway last night. I stuck to tandoori meats, and a small helping of bindhi and cauli bhaji. I had one small glass of very dry prosecco and made sure I'd drunk all of my water before they arrived. It ended up being rather a late night. Didn't hit the hay till two thirty. This morning I am a pound up from yesterday. I think it's a combo of things. I am visibly swollen in both legs from the knee down. I think this is from overdoing physio. I have another appt on Tuesday and I'm going to tell her I need to totally rethink the physio as it's causing me major problems with fatigue, pain and swelling. I need a much gentler approach that I can actually maintain. The other thing I'm thinking is hormonal. We shall see.

I'm currently still completely dairy free, so hoping for more steady loss, but I did go off piste last weekend so perhaps this is it catching up with me.... I will stay committed and keep tweaking.

I haven't had any BP drinks yesterday or the day before, so I will get those going again to see if it helps.

And finally I started on a big vitamin push this morning. Isn't it bloody brilliant that I decided I wanted them yesterday, placed an online order, and they were here this morning?

I have bought vit b complex and some rose hip to go with my vit e (to help with my surgical scars) and some vit d3

I am practically rattling!

Ate them up with two duck eggs scrambled in dripping, butter and coconut oil, plus half a cold burger. Had a nice cup of earl grey with almond milk. So pleased about the almond milk. It tastes the same to me as milk, and is super lc.

I might consider some decaf tea soon if no downward movements. It's my only vice, and I have two or three cups max.

BIWI · 07/06/2015 11:21

monkey

Firstly stop with the shaming!

I'm sure you aren't disgusting at all. And being so hard and down on yourself isn't going to help, is it?

Second, define 'saintly' Grin

I bet you're still drinking squash and Pepsi Max, aren't you?!

Otherwise, you know the drill. List out what you've been eating and drinking over the last few days and let me see if I can help you.

OP posts:
monkeyfacegrace · 07/06/2015 13:39

Minimal now. I'm having 3l ish of water, of which half is usually 3x500ml bottles mineral water that doesn't make me heave so much. Down to 2 cans of Pepsi max and had no wine for the last week which is unheard of.

I'm living on whole roast chickens, roast pork shoulders, aubergines, cauliflower, broccoli and courgette for veg, iceberg for salad.

Fair amount of cheese, cream, oil, butter and salt.

No 'cheats'. No sugar, no binges, nada.

I'm still getting sleepless nights with newborn and am in a bipolar downer so don't know if that's affecting things.

Last time I did bootcamp I was hammering away the pounds and lost shit loads. I'm not doing anything differently this time.

Finbar · 07/06/2015 14:44

HI
This may have been solved further up the thread -but the issue of not being able to edit/add to the Spreadsheet of Fabulousness was solved by my 13 year old!

All you need to do is delete the last four letters on the link in the browser ( 'html') and refresh.
