Morning all.

Here's the Spreadsheet of Fabulousness which looks a bit different this morning! All the tabs appear to be at the top now! No idea what's going on there.

I hope that week 3 hasn't been too unkind to you all, but if you have found that your weight loss has stopped, or even that you've put a pound or so back on, don't worry!

It's your body adjusting to the new regime. Just KOKO (keep on keeping on) and you'll be fine. Things will get moving again very soon, although be prepared for a lower weekly loss from here on in - around 1-2lbs a week, which is a perfect and more sustainable way to lose.

Here's to a good week 4!

Thanks all.

Sitting at my desk with a BPC this morning, feeling bloated and just a tiny bit seedy. It was worth it, I had a lovely day.

I'll keep slugging away at the water - I have a 750ml bottle beside me & aim to finish it by lunchtime, refill it, and drink the second bottle before I go home. That's on top of the two pints I drank this morning

Tetley650 · 04/06/2015 10:05

Confession- when on my own I lick my plate Grin

Preminstreltension · 04/06/2015 11:11

Still KOKO. Had a session with the trainer today and I've lost 3lbs over 3 weeks. Not brilliant but not bad and as a WOE I'm vey happy.

mummyto3under4 · 04/06/2015 11:20

Yesterday food diary
B 3 fried eggs and fried courgette
L fried chicken breast in loads of oil and soya sauce baby leaf spinache courgette and reddish salad
D roasted couliflour roasted chicken and steamed broccoli drizzled with oil from the chicken.
2.5 ltr water and 3 cups of tea with full fat milk snacked on bits of cheese and pork scratchings

BUT HAD AN EPIC FALL YESTERDAY. Went on a crazy sugar hunt and stuffed my face with vast amounts of dried fruit, sweets and bits of chocolate. Once I started I couldn't stop ?? I truly believe I have a sugar addiction and cannot just have a small amount. I was trying to cut out the dairy but I think I'll need to bring back cream etc just to get me through these next couple of days I can literally feel myself twitching and wanting some sugar right now.

dillite · 04/06/2015 11:52

Oh mummy I feel your pain so well. I have started to have a square of dark choc/ some raspberries or blueberries and it definitely helps to keep the cravings in check.

Yesterday's food-
Alpro coconut with some blueberries
Brunch- spinach, watercress and done other leaf salad with avocado, radishes, cucumber, smoked mackerel and boiled egg, mayo
Dinner- baked salmon with duck fat roasted cauli with green beans and broccoli, a bit of cream sauce
Water and tea to drink

Today: buttery scrambled eggs with sardines
No lunch as at the dentists to have a tooth pulled
Dinner- pork belly with green veg

Today is hot so loads of water is to be drunk

Now here's a thing, my clothes are getting tighter. I have already stopped consuming cheese and am definitely keeping cream below 100ml every day.

mummyto3under4 · 04/06/2015 11:58

Can we eat quinoa on this way of eating?

mummyto3under4 · 04/06/2015 12:00

Thank you dillite I think I may have to do that when feeling the cravings coming on. I'm just scared I won't be able to eat just a tiny amount

dillite · 04/06/2015 12:07

No, no quinoa mummy. I was bummed too.

I know what you mean about eating just a tiny amount. If lazy, so what I do is I get a piece and then put the rest somewhere really awkward to reach so that i then can't be arsed to reach for it. And with berries- my daughter gets most of them in her packed lunch and I am then left with just a few 5-10 berries. Also they make plain yoghurt

dillite · 04/06/2015 12:21

They make plain yoghurt taste less of rotten sperm

Tetley650 · 04/06/2015 13:02

*Biwi' - I know I should eat three meals a day and no snacks which I am doing successfully (minor win) but what if I feel I only need 2. For example today I had a late breakfast for me and now lunchtime don't need anything and so will eat when hungry later this afternoon but anticipate not being hungry before I go to bed. Should I have something?

BIWI · 04/06/2015 13:41

Tetley if you've done your two full weeks of Bootcamp, you are free to drop a meal if you're not hungry. Just make sure you don't leave it so long to eat that you get really starving and dive head first into the biscuits!

Yes prudence that would be great!! Smile
Not feeling to good this week, feel quite nauseous, I think I haven't drunk enough water or haven't added enough fat to the diet. Or lack of sleep?
Anyway, planning to go shopping tomorrow and hit the whole foods store on the way home.
What are your thoughts on superfood powders? Is there a particular one you should be having on low carb high fat diet. Are protein shakes alowed on bootcamp?

Tetley650 · 04/06/2015 14:59

biwi- thanks and no naughty carbs that I would eat (never liked crisps) in the house. Going to get linner ready now. Might have coyo later this evening. Control is a good thing and listening to your body.

LexLoofah · 04/06/2015 15:08

dita, cathy, tetley we are in the sunny Cayman Islands!
'tis the start of hurricane season. No storms on the horizon just a weird weather front dumping rain, when the sun comes out it will be v humid. Winter here is lovely, summer not so much - there's no spring or autumn which I have missed a lot, looking forward to the seasons when we move back to the UK but of course reserve the right to complain about the weather still - DCs were born here, they are in for a bit of a shock, never experienced a cold bathroom...

Back on BC - had crabby's crumble to cheer me up last night

diggerdigsdogs · 04/06/2015 15:45

Agh, big post and lost it.

Good day here today. Made a big crust less quiche for lunch and some mini ones for quick breakfasts.

B:yogurt, berries, vanilla powder, almond milk, chia
L: quiche
D: ceaser salad without croutons and some salami.

I'm going from not hungry to ravenous in about 2 seconds at the moment. Suspect it's not enough water. Must, must drink more.

plumstone · 04/06/2015 17:04

Think I have finally cracked the water thing,

500mls before leaving in the morning
500 between 9 and 11
500 between 11 and 1pm
1pm Lunch
500 between 2 and 3.30pm
500 between 4 and 5.30pm
500 in the evening

Have done this for the last few days and this although a tad OCD is working and I don't feel worried and skin on my legs is no longer as flaky but that is probably TMI

ditavonteesed · 04/06/2015 19:53

I have an 800ml bottle that I take to uni, one bottle in the morning, one bottle in the afternoon, a cup of fruit tea at lunch time and a massive pot of camomile tea in the evening. I also have one black coffee in the morning which for me is amazing as I am a proper coffee addict and used to have at least 10 cups a day.
My biggest problem is still the 4pm hunger, I am trying to have my dinner early if I am able.
In 3 weeks I start placement and am doing 12 hour shifts on a ward, I have no idea how I am going to manage it as I used to survive on chocolates, black coffee and toast. Any ideas?

plumstone · 04/06/2015 20:13

Dita, if you can start carrying around babybel cheese, I love it as a snack but I also try and limit as I am a tad addicted. Other things that may work is a small plastic box of cold chicken. I think the trick is to plan, I never did and used to open crisps as a "starter" with another pack as a "soup course" not good. I now plan all meals on a Friday evening, buy on Saturday and stick to more or less the menu for the week, it's not exciting but works for me to stay on track , satisfies my need for a menu spreadsheet and gives my OCD a tickle!

BIWI · 04/06/2015 21:06

digger if you're hungry it's more likely to be lack of fat rather than water (although water will help)

Although, looking at your food, it does look as if you're not eating enough! Where's your veg/salad with your quiche?

Where's your protein component - apart from the salami - with your dinner? I imagine you only ate a relatively small amount of salami?

Fat and protein are what will keep you feeling full.

Dinner tonight:
Courgettes mushrooms and bacon all fried in butter with half a Boursin cheese stirred through till melted - awesome so I thought I would share! Xoxo

Preminstreltension · 04/06/2015 21:44

B Coyo
L pate and little gem lettuce
D cauliflower rice kedgeree. This was great. Really successful. But I need to find somewhere to buy ready made cauliflower pancakes and rice as I cannot be bothered with the faff.

Pleased today because my personal trainer said I had a good foundation of fitness. I think he was surprised that although I am middle aged and fat, I could just about keep up. So he's going to make it harder next week. It was absolutely bloody exhausting this week. Confused. I'm so unsporty it's ridiculous. Hated sport at school and any form of organised games. Still don't look forward to my gym sessions but I can tell they are helping my bad back and general wellbeing.

shebedee · 04/06/2015 22:37

On the road again for a couple of days, taking in hospital appts and family catch ups and very aware that this disruption to routine has been difficult for me in the past. Not today though. Eating has been a bit like filling up with diesel and taken a back seat for a change. That seems pretty amazing to me. Yet I've eaten pretty well
BPC & 2 meaty sausages ,small avocado before I set off at 7
Lunch- roast chicken slices, green salad bowl and a Coyo from Tesco
Dinner- prawn cocktail and a green salad from M&S
Lots of water.. whoop whoop

mummyto3under4 · 04/06/2015 22:54

B egg, green pepper, spinach motserella bake grated cheddar on top
L left over egg bake
D beef mince in a tomato sauce with stir fried cabbage
Snack cheese and pork scratchings
2.5ltr water

trashcanjunkie · 04/06/2015 23:05

Evening troopers. Well, I'm very bloody delighted. The no dairy has definitely made an enormous difference. I still can't believe it has taken me over a year to work this out Blush I guess there was a certain level of denial, because actually no cream, or cheese is bloody hard work at first. I have craved cheese and yoghurt like no bugger! But I've felt very emotional the last couple of days. I think partly due to exhaustion from camping, then driving for eight hours, but I just felt so fucking pissed off at the prospect of another 'fat' summer. I really want to wear certain clothes, and have a really strong sense of style. The problem is, that style currently does not suit my shape. Therefore I have to adapt that style, and I really loathe the choice of looks I feel that I have. Also, bras are a big issue for me at the moment. I have literally no fucking tolerance for under wires. I put them on and cope for at most a few hours, but day to day I just wanna wear sports bras, or non wired. And the thing is, I'm wearing cheapy asda ones, which are unsupportive and create a mono tit or I have a marksys one which cuts into my shoulders.

Basically, all this will disappear once I've got smaller boobs. I just have to be patient and KOKO. but when I get exhausted, the coping gets to me.

diggerdigsdogs · 05/06/2015 01:02

biwi

My breakfast also had 20g of coconut oil whizzed through But no not enough fat in the day or enough veg with lunch. Thanks Flowers
