Morning all.

Here's the Spreadsheet of Fabulousness which looks a bit different this morning! All the tabs appear to be at the top now! No idea what's going on there.

I hope that week 3 hasn't been too unkind to you all, but if you have found that your weight loss has stopped, or even that you've put a pound or so back on, don't worry!

It's your body adjusting to the new regime. Just KOKO (keep on keeping on) and you'll be fine. Things will get moving again very soon, although be prepared for a lower weekly loss from here on in - around 1-2lbs a week, which is a perfect and more sustainable way to lose.

Here's to a good week 4!

This chilly weather is not helping things but I'm staying on track.

B: streaky bacon and eggs, cooked in butter. Small bowl of FF Greek yoghurt.
L: grilled cheeseburger with salad of leaves and avocado, with mayo and EV olive oil:
D: will be chicken cooked in butter with either another green salad or green beans.

Lots of water and one diet coke.

trashcanjunkie · 02/06/2015 12:55

Place marking. Very tired today

Amserhaf · 02/06/2015 12:55

Summer doesn't start till the 21st of June. Summer Solstice. Lol. Sorry just being pedantic here. (Sorry BIWI Blush

But, can I join pleaseeeeeee! Lots to learn so will have a look at some of the recipies etc.

Amserhaf · 02/06/2015 12:57

I am expecting that Summer will arrive promptly on the 21st of course. Lovely hot weather for the three months that is Summer and hopefully going into Autumn too. Smile

Gcalgske · 02/06/2015 13:53

B: tea with milk, coffee with cream
Best lunch ever:
Celeriac chips (200g cut into skinny fries), served with a sauce made from a small shallot and 6 button mushrooms sliced finely and fried in olive oil until very brown. Added in 1 tsp cracked black pepper. Removed to side. Got pan really hot. Flash fried 2 thin cut steaks and move out of the pan to rest. Returned fried veg to pan with a big bit of butter and a dash of cream and scrape all the brown bits off the bottom. Season and add a splash of water if needed. Pour sauce over steak and eat with a big smile on your face. (Obviously feeling very deprived on my diet).

Hissy · 02/06/2015 14:06

Summer doesn't start till the 21st of June. That's what is going on in my head too! I keep hearing people saying Summer is here, it bloody isn't! Not until the solstice.

I'm not woo, just know my dates... :D

B: Bockwurst omelette, black coffee
L: olives in pesto, ham, philly, mayo and a few baby toms
D: quarter pounder with cheese and guacamole, leaves, olives and mayo

1.5 litres down already,

ewanhoozami · 02/06/2015 14:19

It was the first day of meteorological summer yesterday, not so you'd bloody know it round here, it's absolutely lashing it down :(

ewanhoozami · 02/06/2015 14:50

Gcal that sauce sounds superb, I might try it with some pork chops malingering in my freezer.

Still not 100% today so only having:

B - none
L - avocado mayo salad
D - courgette and celeriac soup

S - BULLET PROOF BOVRIL - my new favourite thing. Apologies for the shouting but it is proper lovely. Hot bovril with a heaped teaspoon of ghee (or butter) stirred in. Perfect for when I CBA to make proper bone broth.

Hollii · 02/06/2015 17:06

Meteorological seasons are based on the annual temperature cycle but going off the temperature at the moment, I will look forward to the 21st which is the calendar first day of Summer. Im sure it will be hot then (haha).

ditavonteesed · 02/06/2015 17:20

help me, I am so hungry today I cant stop thinking about junk, think I must be premenstral as I always have one day a month where I could eat my own bodyweight in junk. I have had since I got in some scrambled eggs, some cheese and just made a bpc in the hope that will stop it. Also fell off the wagon a tiny bit earlier but hoping I havent done too much damage. Could that be what has caused the hunger? Have I ruined it all? argh

lisbapalea · 02/06/2015 17:34

dita I sympathise - I have to admit I have just been pacing the kitchen frantically and may have momentarily had a small fall off the wagon, which has really pissed me off. I put it down to a weird combination of boredom coupled with stress of loads of RL stuff buzzing around my head (boredom because I wasn't actually doing anything to tackle any of this stuff!). I think I was looking for comfort food junk to calm me down.

Maybe toothbrushing will take your mind off the idea of eating? I am going to give it a go, and hang my head in shame and self disgust at the same time.

Gcalgske · 02/06/2015 18:13

Hubs just announced we are off out for an Indian tonight as we are child free! Whoop.
Probably tandoori mixed grill and some saag paneer.

Tetley650 · 02/06/2015 18:41

dita and lisba have you drunk all the water for today? Maybe distract yourself and paint your nails. You can't do much with wet nails let alone touch/ eat food.

Ellesbelles04 · 02/06/2015 19:37

Well... 0.5lb on on my official weigh in day, Monday- but earlier in the week I was 3lb lighter and below 13 stone for the first time in a while! So hopefully my scale will show those numbers again.

I was feeling a bit deflated, however two ladies at work (who don't know I'm trying to shed some weight) both commented on my appearance saying I looked slimmer- so that's good news!

My biggest accomplishment is- getting through my normal pre-LCHF workout without stopping. Just back from the gym and my energy levels feel so much better.

Keep on going ladies- even if its tough going at the moment.

readyforno2 · 02/06/2015 19:42

Food today
B scrambled eggs
L soup and salad
D cauliflower, bacon, shallot and courgette cheesy bake type thing. Felt like real comfort food. I love this woe

Kleptronic · 02/06/2015 19:43

I am eating past myself this week. Haven't broken BC but my god I am just eating and eating. It's not going to work if I shove 2 people's worth of low carb food in my face is it. WHY am I so hungry??

It's ok I think it's too much protein and not enough fat. I can't break the fat omerta :(

Romeyroo · 02/06/2015 19:50

Well, it is not going well here - car broke down this morning, really stressful work situation this afternoon and having managed okay, I then ate my dinner, scoffed the cheese of DC leftovers Hmm, and ate a mountain of dark chocolate so I feel yuk. It is TOTM but honestly...
I have gone to bed to limit further damage. It is tiredness and stress eating, I will need to do better tomorrow.

HemanOrSheRa · 02/06/2015 20:57

dita and lisba I was like that last night. I couldn't stop eating. I did somehow manage to stick to low carb food. Just rather a lot of it. I checked the calendar, counted the days and realised my boobs are on fire Blush - yup I'm due on at the weekend. I've eaten a much fattier dinner this evening and feel full, for now.

B - ham, butter, marmite and philly roll ups (2). Black coffee.

L - Cold roast chicken, salad (watercress, rocket and spinach) half tom, half avocado, cue. Oily dressing. Mayo.

D - Bolognese sauce. Courgetti and asparagus fried in butter. Topped with cheese.

S - packet of scratchings. Celery stick with pate.

2.5l water. Coffee with cream.

Gcalgske · 02/06/2015 21:01

Had a tandoori mixed feast. Was yum. Def happy with our new 'local' Indian restaurant. Grin
Virtually saintly but for a diet coke.
Lamb, chicken, prawn, shish kebab, with green peppers and onions and a decent salad plus a vege sauce on the side which was all courgette and aubergine (requested no potato)in a tomato curry sauce and saag paneer (with no onion). Stuffed and well fed gcal!
Non scale victory today - I fit into an old jacket I kept hanging up in my room for motivation, I love it dearly. I used to wear it all the time and get asked if it was Vivienne Westwood (grey tartan asymmetric thing) happy dance!

shebedee · 02/06/2015 21:13

Today's meals
B- 2 thin slices of flax 'bread' , 2 egg mayo and 3 cherry tomatoes
3 coffees(half caff) 1 BPC and 2 with unsweetened almond milk
L- smoked salmon, hard boiled egg, mayo & salad
snack - babybel cheese
D - beef mince bolognese style with stirfried courgette, spinach & brocolli
Coyo plain yog with small handful of raspberries
3L water so far
Went for a long windy walk on the beach today and feel good for first day off strict BC. Pleased to be in control of my food.

toomuchicecream · 02/06/2015 21:17

Yay - I've now lost 0.2lb this bootcamp!! Which is actually a victory of sorts for me. Over the 4 or 5 weeks before the start of bootcamp I lost 13lb. I then had several social events with carbs I wasn't prepared to avoid (lunch at Marcus Waring at the Barclay anyone? I wasn't going to turn down his desserts!) But, contrary to previous bootcamps, I haven't let myself get derailed by putting on for a couple of weeks - I did a lot better job than usual of reminding myself to KOKO.

So onwards and downwards!

Patapouf · 02/06/2015 21:31

I'm Shock and Blush at the number of calories I've managed to consume today so far. I've just totted it all up on MFP and it's by far the most all BC.

B: veggie egg muffin x2 and 2x black farmer chipolatas
L: tuna mayo lettuce wraps and chicken Caesar salad
D: spicy high fat mince with mushrooms and sprinkle of cheddar,
S: half small pot of choc coyo.

I've been absolutely ravenous which I'll put down to TOTM.

trashcanjunkie · 02/06/2015 21:51

Meals today

B 2 duck eggs scrambled
L tuna and mayo with nearly a full cucumber and some romaine lettuce
D hm meatballs with chilli, mint and coriander in tomato sauce with cauli rice... (Which wasn't so impressive and has bloated my tummy, so won't bother with it again)

In fact, that reminds me I wanted to research the FODMAP foods.

Also had two BP teas and two litres water.

Sorry I feel like I'm just about clinging on today. Hope everyone else is ok

WineCheeseSleep · 02/06/2015 22:20

My meals today were:

B: Eggs scrambled in butter. 2 creamy coffees
L: Aubergine, courgette, few tbsps of chopped tomatoes and shallots fried in butter with a little cheese grated on top. Bit odd but nice way to clear out the fridge ahead of the shopping this evening
D: Duck leg with buttery swede

3 litres of water

Made my lunch for my trip into the office tomorrow so no excuse for me to go off course!

LexLoofah · 02/06/2015 23:41

Hello all, still here but blown BC and even BC lite, have chest infection and ear infection so not wanting cold meat and salad etc. or to put much effort in plus signed off work for a few days and dangerous to be at home at a loose end and feeling pants so lots of cups of tea and things I should not be having for both comfort and convenience. will just write this week off, enjoy it while I can so long as it doesn't make me feel worse (which would be hard) and get back on next week

Sorry that does sound very miserable, on the up side I have made the most of some free time to really make headway on the big move and enjoyed hours of online browsing
