Morning all.

Here's the Spreadsheet of Fabulousness which looks a bit different this morning! All the tabs appear to be at the top now! No idea what's going on there.

I hope that week 3 hasn't been too unkind to you all, but if you have found that your weight loss has stopped, or even that you've put a pound or so back on, don't worry!

It's your body adjusting to the new regime. Just KOKO (keep on keeping on) and you'll be fine. Things will get moving again very soon, although be prepared for a lower weekly loss from here on in - around 1-2lbs a week, which is a perfect and more sustainable way to lose.

Here's to a good week 4!

haven't weighed yet, just marking my spot.

Been a bit under the weather the last couple of days so my eating has been a bit off (craved pulses yesterday and have had no appetite at all yet today)

BUT I am making a ginger and chilli chicken 'noodle' soup for dinner with loads of leafy green veg so I will soon be feeling restored.

And instead of noodles.... seaweed spaghetti

It's either going to be fabulous or horrible- shall report back.

TheCowThatLaughs · 01/06/2015 18:09

I've decided to stop weighing myself for a while because I don't think it helps me, but I'm feeling and looking slimmer
B - scrambled egg with lots of butter, tomatoes, olives, spinach and mushrooms fried in olive oil
L - was a bit the same really, but omelette instead of scrambled egg
D - fried halloumi with half a tin of tomatoes with plenty of olive oil in
About 2.5 - 3 litres of water

saranghae · 01/06/2015 18:23

Can't believe it's week four already! Feels like only yesterday I started BC, glad to hear it's been a month!
Gained two pounds, but it wasn't a suprise I have been eating too much cheese... Maybe comfort eating/stress eating? I'm glad I'm on the BC though, knowing there's a weekly weigh in and others are in the same boat seems to help me pull myself together and resist!

I think everyone at home is coming round to what I'm eating as well, they keep asking to cook a little extra! I haven't heard any 'you're going to gain weight comments anymore', the first two weeks, every time I tried to cook, someone would come in and nag about how its too fatty and I'll gain weight...

B- FF yoghurt, double cream and cinnamon
L - 2 fried eggs, avocado, and huge bowl of veggies - looked so colourful, cheered me up a lot.
D - Had late lunch so not too hungry at the moment.

Anyway looking forward to the end of the week, when exams are over! KOKO and best of luck everyone! :)

saranghae · 01/06/2015 18:35

Oh sorry, I mean a four pound gain...Been so distracted lately, I ended up making tea earlier and chucking the whole thing in the bin, then carried the cup to my room [empty].

DearPrudence · 01/06/2015 19:46

I've lost 3 this week, but that was all at the beginning of the week. Since then I've pissed about and had two evenings where carbs and alcohol crept in.

But today is a new week, a new month and a fresh outlook. Feeling back in control and hoping for a whoosh in the next few days.

saranghae - we can help each other pull ourselves together!

monkeyfacegrace · 01/06/2015 20:05

I've been crap at eating today. Just haven't found the time.

B: 2 eggs fried in butter
Snack of two large chunks of cheese and a bowl of whipped cream.

Dh is in the kitchen now making me a salad with ceaser dressing, olive oil, a chicken breast and a pork steak.

I feel thinner regardless of what the scales say.

Hangonaminutewillyou · 01/06/2015 20:13

I did my weigh in this morning and only just got a chance to put it in the spreadsheet...I've basically STS which is probably ok considering its been TOTM. I have moved onto bootcamp light but I am going to steer clear of alcohol. I've started to include berries in my diet because I can't live without them anymore! I think my key challenge now about drinking enough water. I am still finding it tough to drink enough without being on the loo constantly including all night (mainly because I get to the end of the day and realise I've not drunk nearly enough)...so my plan is to drink at least 1 litre before midday tomorrow. I'm managing to control cravings for carbs despite DH and DS continuing to consume their regular amounts in front of me so even if the scales aren't yet moving in the right direction, I at least feel better about myself for having some control.

Thanks to everyone for their support by posting their meals, recipes and encouragement. Even if I don't have time to post I enjoy having a quick catchup on the thread. It definitely helps to know we're all in the same boat!

Flowers for all of you!

AuntieMaggie · 01/06/2015 20:28

STS here - happy with that but still need to drink more water and eat less processed meat (bacon)

Heffalumps · 01/06/2015 21:18

Hello
I am unable to weigh until the end of the week as my scales keep coming up OL for overload Blush I'm hoping it is a fault with them rather than them criticising me! I am buying some at the weekend.
I think I have gained this week though - TOTM and travelling over1/2 term, not drinking enough + eating out an awful lot. So, back on to full BC this week and weigh in next Monday if that's ok?

Patapouf · 01/06/2015 21:27

B: 2 egg 'muffins'
L: chicken drumstick on the run
D: chicken ceasar salad & square of dark choc.
Not nearly enough water yet.

blessedenough · 01/06/2015 21:41

Awful urge to pick today I can't keep out of the kitchen!

B -2 bpcs
L- pork belly slices and a suggestion of salad
D - cauli fried rice with pak choice with ginger and garlic
Evening munchies - 3 chicken wings , 8 strawberries and d cream, spicy cheese and 2 large slices of salami. Sigh I blame totm!

Loads of water and walked 5 miles today pushing heavy Ds in pram up some major hills.

LondonBetti · 01/06/2015 22:00

I think I'm also overdoing the cheese saranghae - just counted eating 170-200g today which is quite a lot. It's just so easy though!!

Will have a go at some scones as suggested above which might help as a quick snack fix ... Have seen some recipes with 3g carb a scone - does anyone know if that's ok at this stage?

BIWI · 01/06/2015 22:19

Patapouf - not much veg going on in your day!

LondonBetti - why do you need to plan in your snacks? If you're eating enough at meal times, and you're eating plenty of fat (and drinking the water) you shouldn't need to snack. 3g carbs per scone is quite a lot really - and you're supposed to be getting your carbs mainly from veg and salad!

Patapouf · 01/06/2015 23:02

I thought you might say that BIWI there was some spinach in my egg muffins but I just couldn't be bothered to cook anything so only ate what was ready in the fridge.

I need to meal plan for the rest of the week to use up all of the perishables before we go away. I've a whole bag of kale looking at me forlornly and I don't know what to do with it!

Romeyroo · 02/06/2015 05:28

Pata, kale crisps? They used to be my favourite before I realised that kale set off my IBS.

Last night, I ate three prunes as I am still suffering from, ahem, regularity problems and I am looking for a solution which does not involve laxatives. However a) they were horribly sweet although the lowest carb I could find and b) I woke at 1am feeling hungry which normally never happens. Wondering if that was triggered by the prunes? I did a meditation and got back to sleep.

B yesterday was cheese cubes and chorizo
L was catered so I had green salad leaves and some ham and cheese
D was vegetable lasagne - I made mine without the cheese sauce, veg was courgette and spinach
Plus the three prunes.

Today I will have
B two egg omelette with spinach
L more spinach with some leftover lasagne
D no idea, I need to go shopping tomorrow so using up stuff!

monkeyfacegrace · 02/06/2015 06:36

I planned ahead and defrosted a whole chicken overnight. I'm going to roast it and eat the whole thing over the course of the day Grin

I'm going to also have 2 eggs, courgette, brocolli, cauliflower and cheese alongside to make up meals.

I've got a fresh 2l bottle of water out so easy to know when I've had my quota.

And biwi I had NO WINE and only 2 cans of Pepsi max yesterday so I'm really trying hard for you Smile

BIWI · 02/06/2015 07:08

Monkey - you aren't doing it for me - you're doing it for youGrin

ditavonteesed · 02/06/2015 07:15

A busy day today, learning all about sepsis, should be fun Smile

b ff greek yoghurt
l salad with cheicken and mayo
d mackrel fillets and spinach I think

My friend does her shopping in ocado as she is way posher than me so she is ordering me a little pot of coyo to try. the vanilla one is that right it said 0.5g carbs the chocolate one is 3g and all the others looked to be 5g or over.

plumstone · 02/06/2015 08:31

AAAAARGGHHHHH - stood on scales and a solid 4lbs on!!!!!!!!

I am going to stop weighing daily - and focus on a Monday morning, naked, apres wee!!!!

Today:
B - BPF and a forkful of pate
L - Tuna in olive oil and mayonnaise - salad
D - Out at a Black tie thingy tonight so will stay away from the bread and opt for cheese instead of pudding. Think the dinner will be: smoked salmon starter ad creme fresh, followed by lamb or beef and then cheese or pudding - at least thats what I am hoping for!!!

Have a great day xoxo

Tetley650 · 02/06/2015 08:55

Headache gone but soooo tired today. Weather not helping.
Today's food will be
B scrambled eggs and 2 small lc chipolatas
L wedge salad with veryoily dressing a few lardons and blue cheese.
D something with mince and lots of veg
Was planning to go and start c25k but really not in the mood nor the weather for it. Might do a low impact version ( no bouncing) insanity session!

mummyto3under4 · 02/06/2015 10:28

I was too ashamed to post Blush but I went of the wagon slightly for two days there was a lot of junk in the house due to DS birthday party I didn't go too crazy but I nibbled on a few foods that I shouldn't have. But I'm back on the bc as of yesterday and feeling determined. Before my naughty two days i weighed myself and have lost half a stone. My body shape is definitely changing I can see it in pictures and my face is a lot slimmer.

YESTERDAY
B fried egg and half an avocado
L stir fried courgette wrapped in ham
D courgette and spinach salad with chicken drumsticks was still hungry so had three fried eggs after

Snack
Biltong (South African dried meat)
Pork scratchings

mummyto3under4 · 02/06/2015 10:29

And 2ltr water

threeicklepickles · 02/06/2015 10:39

I went awol last week, too much temptation at my mums. Have been back on it since fri and have lost another 1 lb, now 181. Could someone please add that to the spreadsheet? Thanks.

LondonBetti · 02/06/2015 10:53

Biwi it's hard to explain but some days I feel really snacky and almost deprived regardless of proper meals / water etc ... On those days I'm just one step (spoon?) away from demolishing a tub of ice cream at any second. I know it's a mental / habit thing but having a scone handy might keep me on the wagon Grin

shebedee · 02/06/2015 11:40

I feel really pleased that I feel safe enough to try BC lite now. I feel more in control having learned the impact that crap food had on me when I had a blip a week ago.
To celebrate my new menu, I made a loaf substitute with ground linseed, almond and eggs and the joy of eating a slice of something that resembled a piece of bread with egg mayo and cherry tomatoes was inordinately satisfying.
I now know I will have to watch this and see if it has an impact on my weight or makes me crave it too much - if so, out it will go. My DH loves it too so at least I won't be able to scoff the whole loaf!
Another thing I have noticed today is the condition of my skin. Being post menopausal, it had become drier over the last couple of years but I believe detect a bit of a bloom.
I'm so looking forward to raspberries later with a vanilla Coyo.
