Morning all!

Here's the Spreadsheet of Fabulousness

And don't forget the the Weight Tracker (I hope that link works but apologies if it doesn't!)

So we come to our first weigh-in. I know from last week's thread that results are going to be a bit mixed - but I hope that most of you will see a good loss.

If you haven't, don't panic! Sometimes it can take a bit of time for your body to trust you, especially if you're a bit of a serial dieter.

If you think you've been doing everything according to the rules, but still haven't seen a loss, then list out for me your meals over the last 3 or 4 days and let me see if I can spot anything obvious.

But whatever the results are today, please remember it's not a competition!

We all lose weight at different rates. And someone who sees a big loss in one week isn't going to see that every week.

And remember - it's not all about what the scales tell you. You'll find that your body shape can change even if the scales remain unchanged!

Good luck to you all.

Well done Sayra
fatstacks enjoy - my ribs at lunchtime had mossaman paste and olive oil marinade and I then green curried cauliflower, aubergine, spinach and courgette added a good dollop of coconut oil and a couple tbsps of coconut milk. Spicy and tasty!!!
Hangon funny how somethings become favourites and you eat them for every meal (it seems) and then all of a sudden you can't stand them!

ewanhoozami · 19/05/2015 19:48

Tetley your lunch sounds amazing, yum.

B - three eggs fried in ghee
L - avocado and tuna salad
D - tomato, olive, spring onion and thyme crustless quiche with green beans

almond milk coffees, scratchings, muchos water.

BeyondDoesBootcamp · 19/05/2015 20:23

Mm, i might try a bullet proof chai latte, that sounds good...

Gcalgske · 19/05/2015 20:24

I use 15g of each in one cup. The chai tea is spiced, I like twinnings vanilla chai. It's sweet and creamy.

ApplySomePressure · 19/05/2015 20:47

plumstone · 19/05/2015 20:51

Need advice please!!!!

I am trying to stick to three meals a day, two coffees (first thing and after dinner) And 3 litres of water, however for the first time in years I am having an energy crash at about 4pm - I eat lunch till I am full at about 12:30 and dinner is usually about 6/7pm now the problem today I had two mini wedges of Brie and felt a bit better, but didn't really want dinner. would I be better just to have another coffee at 4pm and then really enjoy dinner or keep having a snack and smaller dinner?
I drink three litres of water throughout the day.

Thanks xoxo

lisbapalea · 19/05/2015 21:16

Well despite my good intentions I didn't manage to wangle a low carb friendly meal out with my friend and we had dim sum! I did my best to avoid the carbiest and we did definitely have some options worthy of boot camp (an amazing spicy chicken and avocado salad, as well as spicy friend pork loin - yum!), but it was certainly not saintly!

But the good thing is, it didn't make me totally break the fuck it seal! When I got to the train station for my train home I popped into wh smith where in days gone by I would have picked up a chocolate bar or other junk for my journey home, but today I looked at it all and actually thought to myself "none of this is worth it for how crap you'll feel about it afterwards", so I feel pretty proud of myself for that!

Properly back on it all tomorrow, promise!

Gcalgske · 19/05/2015 21:29

Dinner was gammon steak, fried eggs x2 and swede chips. YUM!

Patapouf · 19/05/2015 21:34

I had sweetcorn today Blush Sad poxy nandos

I have a terrible headache today too, but I have yummy bacon and spinach frittata to look forward to for dinner.

lex how do you make the tortillas?

DramaAlpaca · 19/05/2015 21:38

Congrats on the job Sayra, and good luck with polishing your thesis.

I'm not hungry this evening so I've just had some ff yog with cream for dinner. Still full from lunchtime, when I had the last of the leftover corned beef hash with spinach & two fried eggs.

Still guzzling water.

BIWI · 19/05/2015 22:02

plumstone - you may be eating till you're full, but are you making sure that you're eating enough fat at breakfast and lunch?

OP posts:
plumstone · 19/05/2015 22:15

Breakfast is FF Greek yogurt getting bored of it but is portable - I leave the house at 7 and have it at work at about 9, lunch is chopped salady stuff, three table spoons of ff Mayo, ham and cream cheese rolls and some king prawns, yesterday was homemade meatballs instead if the prawns - it's weird not hungry till about 12:30 and then if I snack at 4 I am not really hungry at dinner - but if I don't I get waves of exhaustion mid afternoon - this is not me, I am. Normally a bright and sparkly plum all the time! Will try to have coffee at 4 and none in the evening tomorrow and see how we get on! Maybe an extra avocado at lunch might help??

Gcalgske · 19/05/2015 22:40

What about making the 4pm Coffee bullet proof?

BIWI · 19/05/2015 22:41

And an oily dressing on the salad!

suzy so sorry about your FIL Flowers

and preminstrel your poorly mum Flowers

Right it's late, but I'm gonna attempt a superpost - forgive typos. been long bloody day.

Dita Mad max was bloody bloody brilliant. We want to go again. We watched the original number two, and couldn't believe how much it had improved upon it whilst utterly retaining the look, feel, and heart.

miffy my mum had a kombucha for a while. I never really liked the stuff. But we did have a bizarre thing happen once. We left the tiniest bit (sheer bad housekeeping) of cider vinegar in the bottom of a bottle of cider vinegar, and a tiny kombucha grew, which we then cultivated and used in the same way. i wonder what the hell it was.

The kefir arrived this morning, I had a kilner jar and some muslin for the top, so I have chucked in some coconut milk and stuck it on top of the combi boiler..... the heating is on low so it's just warm in there.... fuck I hope this works. If it does, COYO can FTFO Grin

ewan did you order some of the kefir yet? Well done on the no dairy... I'm seeing huge results.

fatstacks I sincerely hope you give that fucker of a nurse a week of unwashed fanny Grin I spat out my water when I read that!

rabbit I'd also like to offer my congratulations, but must agree with crabby

dilite well done on 'them bony bits poking out' Grin romey have you worked out yet, she's talking about the underwiring Grin

sayra aka Dr S. L .Wink.......... congratulations you superstar!

Today I went to the Paleo cafe... they fucked my order up so I got bacon and eggs in the cafe, with a bulletproof earl grey then i got chicken boobies and broccoli with kale to take away for free! chuffed cos all food is organic grass fed blah blah blah. It's in the fridge for tomorrow, but there's about three other decebt bits of leftovers in there what want eating too!

I have discoverd a hot drink that is amazing!!! it's a yogi tea called choco chilli, and it's the closest thing to a hot chocolate I have had. Ever. It's got some lovely sweet spicy notes to it. It's made of cacao and other lovely stuff. I had it with almond milk, and it was bloody lovely.

food and drink been fine. wieght going down down down. Viva no dairy!

BestIsWest · 19/05/2015 22:57

Where did you get the choco chili Trash?

3 lbs off for me I think as someone's adjusted our scales.

dillite · 19/05/2015 23:34

romey I meant underwiring, but not the one you get for under the boob in the bra cup, but the ones you get at the side of the bra to keep the industrial strength bra's extra industrial. Although underwire is also poking my arms. Not my actual ribs! I haven't seen those for decades Grin.

Kleptronic · 20/05/2015 00:27

I am soooo hungry Hmm

Today I ate:
2 egg omelette, slice of jarlsberg, fried in olive oil
5 olives and slice jarls for snack
3 boiled eggs with ff mayo and baby leaf salad
Peppered mackerel, leaf salad, red cabbage, cauliflower, ff coleslaw dinner
50g Co yo 2 hours ago
3 teas with almond milk
6 glasses sparkly water

I am sooooo hungry!!!

LexLoofah · 20/05/2015 02:44

Pata tortillas here although strictly speaking they are BC light due to the nuts but only 2tblsp almond meal in 5 tortillas so not bad at all and quicker than cauli version.

Theh held together quite well, we could pick them up with the filling inside. it was a lovely quick meal and If we hadn't alrady had meat to use up would have done without meat, really Did not need it

LexLoofah · 20/05/2015 02:47

plum I am the same at 4pm, struggling to get enough fat at lunchtime I think, theres only so much mayo my salad can hold, think I need to have a chai with cream around then to keep me going. Had some cheese and a few tbl sp of ff Greek yog when I got home

LexLoofah · 20/05/2015 03:04

ipad users if you are unable to update the weigh in sheet download an app called Google Sheets free from the App Store, sign in - does not have to be a Google account, I used my outlook one - next time you have clicked on the sheet link go to the app and you should see the sheet listed there, open it up and you should be able to edit it, I just did this with my ancient ipad 2

Does someone else want to give it a go and report back?

diggerdigsdogs · 20/05/2015 04:04

Lex, just read your post and thought "oh how useful, I can do that and finally out my weight in! Then realised I'm finally using my laptop and can just input it normally. Grin

My vanilla powder has just arrived in the post. Man it's lovely!

Romeyroo · 20/05/2015 06:10

dillite, ah, thank you, I have always been lacking in the chest department so these details are not familiar to me - I honestly thought you mean actual bones, now I understand! I have to say though, having lost weight, I am even more lacking in the chest departmentHmm

SayraT · 20/05/2015 07:07

lex if that works then you are amazing! I'm going to copy your post for future BCs as well. Star

StuntNun · 20/05/2015 07:15

Kleptronic if you're still hungry then you need to eat more. How about boiling extra eggs next time to keep in the fridge. I cut one in half and top in with mayonnaise mixed with a little bit of curry powder for a cheat devilled eggs.
