Morning all!

Here's the Spreadsheet of Fabulousness

And don't forget the the Weight Tracker (I hope that link works but apologies if it doesn't!)

So we come to our first weigh-in. I know from last week's thread that results are going to be a bit mixed - but I hope that most of you will see a good loss.

If you haven't, don't panic! Sometimes it can take a bit of time for your body to trust you, especially if you're a bit of a serial dieter.

If you think you've been doing everything according to the rules, but still haven't seen a loss, then list out for me your meals over the last 3 or 4 days and let me see if I can spot anything obvious.

But whatever the results are today, please remember it's not a competition!

We all lose weight at different rates. And someone who sees a big loss in one week isn't going to see that every week.

And remember - it's not all about what the scales tell you. You'll find that your body shape can change even if the scales remain unchanged!

Good luck to you all.

I will have to have a hood rummage round asda's coffee aisle and see if there are any less carby coffee drinks- I don't like actual coffee, so having it with cream would be no good anyway. Was just hoping that perhaps I could still have a cup a day of my usual one.

Anyway, today's food:
Breakfast- two cheese, egg, cream cheese and bacon muffins
Lunch- cream of celery soup made with lots of double cream and butter
Dinner- pork belly drizzled with a teaspoon of balsamic, all slow cooked and will be either served with green veg or an oily salad.

Water- getting there

Fatstacks · 19/05/2015 13:40

Cheers for the link Tetley I just ordered some chilli stuff and curry paste.
Will be perfect for DP who enjoys eating ridiculously hot things with a kick.

I think it's the Scottishness, if it doesn't cause pain it isn't hot enough.

CrabbyTheCrabster · 19/05/2015 13:48

Have to admit, though, that I started three weeks ago, but have been doing a modified version - not worrying about low-carbing at the weekends, and once or twice during the week as well. I know I shouldn't, but I do have my reasons, not least it means I don't get fed up of what I'm eating.

Congrats on your loss, Rabbits, but I don't think this is a very appropriate/supportive thing to post here. Most posters are trying very hard to stick to the rules and for many, the weight comes off very slowly/not at all some weeks. Hearing that someone is losing lots of weight by not sticking to it at all, isn't going to help their confidence and motivation.

nobodyknowswheremyjonnyhasgone · 19/05/2015 13:57

Daily check in on the hoof.

B: FF total
L: chicken & chorizo snacky picnic bits from M&S as shopping trip over ran and needed something fast to avoid a carb crisis.
D: something with lots of veg after the meat feast lunch.

Congrats on all the extra losses!

BIWI · 19/05/2015 14:05

dillite sorry I'm late to the thread - but I agree with Gcalgske - that's way too carby especially as the carb count given is for mixing with water. Once you add milk to the equation - even cream - it will make it even carbier!

Please don't forget that on this WOE you're supposed to be getting the bulk of your carbs from vegetables and salad.

Just one more watch out - your menu has a lot of dairy in it. Just beware that for some people that can impact on their weight loss.

B: BPC and 2x Debbie and Andrews cold sausages
L: cold chicken thigh meat (from 3 small roasted in skin with olive oil) shredded meat and added 2tbsp mayo, 1tsp grain mustard, finely chopped half shallot, half tomato diced, salt & pepper. Made enough for two. Served on cucumber 'crackers'.
Not sure about dinner yet, possibly gammon steak.

dillite · 19/05/2015 15:02

Shoot, I was relying on dairy to give me the fats, as it's an easy source, forgetting that it is quite carby too. I will get there though! I'm not always this stupid, honest.

LexLoofah · 19/05/2015 15:37

preminstrel sorry to hear about your Mum

well I might not have lost much last week but today I have on a belted dress that is positively baggy on me now and would be a shapeless bag without the belt. Also wearing knickers that I have not worn in ages as the old tum used to flop over the top. nowhere near flat tummied now by any means but definitely reduced and even more than that I am very happy that the fat on my internal organs is going more than the external visual benefits.

B - roast pork and eggs scrambled with butter, chilli powder and spring onion - delish - cuppa, coffee w cream - trying not to have more than one cup of tea with milk per day, sure that is slowing me down

diggerdigsdogs · 19/05/2015 15:40

checking in.

B: eggs with cheese and butter, creamy mushrooms and buttered spinach
L: creamy brocolli soup with blue cheese. I used a leek instead of an onion. It was delicious.
D: T-bone with creamy leeks, mushroom sauce, brocolli and zucchini with butter.
Soooooo delicious.

Diet? What diet? Grin

plumstone · 19/05/2015 16:13

B - FF Greek yogurt
L - Radishes, baby cucumber, cherry toms, king prawns, mayonnaise (lots) and ham and philly rolls
S - Two mini wedges of brie from M&S
D- Pork Belly with creamy leeks, and mushrooms in butter
W - 2lt down 1 to go
Coffees - 2 and 1 peppermint tea - high possibility of another coffee soon!!!

dillite · 19/05/2015 16:23

I don't know if I've lost weight, but my bra is poking outwards at the sides- you know the bone bits that are under your armpits? Them ones are poking out.

Gcalgske · 19/05/2015 16:32

Good news dilite! Although isn't it a pest that your chest gets smaller first Confused

Gcalgske · 19/05/2015 16:34

Do you like tea dilite? What about a bullet proof chai? (Chai tea, butter, coconut oil blended) delicious like a creamy coconutty chai latte.

dillite · 19/05/2015 17:59

Gcalske I've never tried chai so no idea whether I like it. Could you recommend any? And how much butter&co should I add?

SayraT · 19/05/2015 18:13

Just to let you know I am having internet problems at home and I can't really come on at work so might not be able to do spreadsheet stuff.

I'm also going to be quite busy the next two weeks so might not be around as I have been offered a job but one condition is that my thesis must be submitted before the start date (1st June) so I am being a busy bee getting it all polished off.

LexLoofah · 19/05/2015 18:37

Sayra congrats on the job, nothing like a terms of employment condition to focus the mind

threeicklepickles · 19/05/2015 18:37

Hope you get your thesis done Sayra, 2lb loss for me this week, yey.

DarkEvilMoon · 19/05/2015 18:39

Hope the deadline with positive outcome proves successful for you Sayra Grin

Romeyroo · 19/05/2015 18:51

Well done Sayra! Good luck with getting the thesis done.

preminstrel, hope your mum is okay Flowers

What on earth are the bones which stick out under your armpits? Honestly confused, sorry, do you mean ribs? Is that not a bit too thin?

Fatstacks · 19/05/2015 18:58

Congrats Sayra
You will knock em dead Grin

Hangonaminutewillyou · 19/05/2015 19:02

Lex - thanks for the meatzza link, I might give it a go, although at the moment I'm feeling a bit like I've overloaded on meat.I was even mulling over whether to try gowing veggie but I'd find it hard...not least because DH
& DS are huge meat fans.

Meal shout out for today:
Brunch:scrambled egg & smoked salmon
Snacks: marinated olives & salami & bit of leftover Caesar salad (with chicken, ham,no croutons)
D: pan fried salmon steaks with creamy leeks (never made creamy leeks before & absolutely loved them)

Will prob have some FF Greek yog w its extra cream as a treat later if I manage to get DS to bed before I need to go myself!!

Trying really hard to drink more water, have bought loads of sparkling water from Aldi (only 99p for 4 x 2 litre bottles) which is making it feel more like a treat than a chore.

Also, tried leek & cauliflower soup last week (saw it on another thread somewhere),wasn't expecting much but it was really yum. Leeks are shaping up to become my favorite veg!

Hangonaminutewillyou · 19/05/2015 19:04

Going not gowing!

Hangonaminutewillyou · 19/05/2015 19:14

P.s. Congrats to Sayra!

LexLoofah · 19/05/2015 19:20

hangon I know what you mean about meat overload, it's nice to have fish or a cheesy veggie dish for a change when it gets a bit much- shaping up to be a roast pork for every meal day for me so might be hitting the cheesy leeks tomorrow. Sounds like your DH will like the meatzza, honestly I cannot thing of any other diet/woe that mine would entertain.

L - watercress, hm mayo, cucumber, celery, roast pork spread with butter (loving this combo), dill pickles, crackling
D - will be fajitas with courgette matchsticks, a bit of shallot and mini pepper, hm low carb tortillas, hm guacamole and greek yog with lemon juice as no sour cream, might add some grated cheese as well oh yes and the last of the roast pork - oink!
