Welcome everyone!

Here's the Spreadsheet of Fabulousness that the lovely Sayra creates and cares for. Come and confess all.

If you prefer, you can use the individual Weight Tracker, provided by MNHQ, which will open (I hope) tomorrow morning.

Please make sure that you know the rules, and that you know about the allowed veg - look at the tabs at the bottom of the spreadsheet - and think about printing them off so that you have them to hand

If you have any questions, obviously you can ask them here, but there's also a specific questions thread because the chat threads can move so quickly that questions can get missed.

Unfortunately I'm working pretty full on for the next three days, so won't be around very much - I'll try and check in as much as I can, but in reality I'm not going to be around very much until Thursday - apologies in advance.

Very good luck to you all

Hi everyone. I AM IN. I have done this before, I know it works but I need to make sure I stay on it for the whole 10 weeks. I keep losing the same half stone. Not easy as this is birthday season in our family and I am chief cake maker for the whole extended family but can't believe I'm a stone heavier than last summer. One DC was very ill last autumn and my eating got totally out of control.

Starting at 155 which is really shocking for my height. Am very small with very slight frame so every single pound blobs off me. 3 stone lost would have me looking normal, not skinny. Would settle for just a couple of stone of though as need to be realistic.

I know my failings are being at home alone with toddler (SAHM at the moment), baking, trying to incorporate BC into family meals at weekends. I really really have to watch these triggers.

Today

B - broke first rule as had nothing suitable in the house pre shop.
L - poached salmon and spinach with some kind of dressing.
D - scrambled eggs and mushrooms as will be in massive hurry then FF greek yoghurt.

Generally I know I have to avoid too many eggs as I get to the point where they make me feel sick and that's another failure trigger.

Thanks BIWI and Sayra and Good Luck everyone!

I'm in but I have no scales at the moment I'll just go by how I feel. Does anyone know how quickly I can get to the fab mousakka recipe from years ago? I really need to cook in advance for my night shifts.

BTW - that coyo yoghurt costs a FORTUNE is delicious!

Totally agree about that coconut yogurt - it's amazing but seriously needs to come down in price! I mix a dollop of that with a dollop of greek yog to stretch it further.

Is coconut exempt from the 'no nuts and seeds' rule?

Oh and thanks for the egg yolk suggestions - will go for a homemade mayo if it's OK to add a white in!

Hah, Hissy, my evil plan for making a date dinner on Saturday night is to offer him a G&T, then just give myself glasses of tonic water, leaving him to assume what he will Grin.

Afternoon all. I'm strangely excited - scrambled eggs have kept me fuller than my usual porridge for breakfast - but a bit gutted at how much I weigh - 198 lbs eek!

lisbapalea I believe so, as coconut cream is heavily used to bulk up fat intake.

£2 per pot... if nowt else I'll be too poor to eat anything else...

I'm 186.5 this morning. Hoping to get down to below 13 stone quite soon, and then I'll weigh less than I have for about 7.5 years Smile

TheCowThatLaughs · 11/05/2015 12:41

Weighing in....had a twattery binge over the weekend so holding water...so looking at 160lb just now...finished last bc at 157lb and lowest weight last week was 158 so aiming to get the water whoosh going to see what the true state of affairs is in a day or two.
I have got the last push to make on this b/c (having lost 36 -39lbs in total since end sept via 2 bootcamps) - would like to get down to 147lbs. So, doable I think.
Still breastfeeding so will be remaining on bc lite.
Expecting major carb flu soon as been a real carb fest twat over the last few weeks, but hey ho, it will focus my mind.
My iPad is too old to play with the spreadsheet anymore but I will just update here.
Good luck everyone!

Homemade mayo is deffo the way forward. I was put off due to previous high-faff and splitting experiences but this method from the healthy foodie is the business

Esp if you add wasabi. Or mustard. Or smoked paprika.

Dammit I need to go and make some now Grin

Report
lisbapalea · 11/05/2015 13:05

It was no faff at all - I just used an electric hand whisk and added the oil very slowly. Maybe the rogue white I included helped to stabilise things?

Report
almahart · 11/05/2015 13:06

What's the coconut yoghurt? Sounds yum. Had salami and eggmayo for breakfast, chicken and veg for lunch. Am toying with idea of no dairy for BC....
