Welcome everyone!

Here's the Spreadsheet of Fabulousness that the lovely Sayra creates and cares for. Come and confess all.

If you prefer, you can use the individual Weight Tracker, provided by MNHQ, which will open (I hope) tomorrow morning.

Please make sure that you know the rules, and that you know about the allowed veg - look at the tabs at the bottom of the spreadsheet - and think about printing them off so that you have them to hand

If you have any questions, obviously you can ask them here, but there's also a specific questions thread because the chat threads can move so quickly that questions can get missed.

Unfortunately I'm working pretty full on for the next three days, so won't be around very much - I'll try and check in as much as I can, but in reality I'm not going to be around very much until Thursday - apologies in advance.

Very good luck to you all

Flowers

Morning all, i went on holiday last week and stuck to LC principles, i was a little bit smug then had an attack of carby twattiness this weekend -huge sigh.

My poor digestive system it was rumbling so much this morning it woke me up, sounded like i had a bear in my tummy.

I am really looking forwards to this, i have recently upped my exercise as i am in training for race for life (1st time ever) and it would be a lot easier if there wasnt so much of me to drag around!

I have basically maintained between bootcamps but need the strictness and accountability of bootcamp proper to keep me on the straight and narrow.

Need to go food shopping today as nothing in but will try to keep dairy to a minimum as i think it slows things for me.

Good luck everyone, off to drink some water

dumdedum I did wonder about that but there's a stray egg white in the bowl I have as well (an egg that mixed together when I was trying to separate them for a recipe), which I think complicates things!

It's 3 yolks and 1 white, all in a pot. I was wondering if I could make some muffins with them with some ricotta cheese, but I guess without the whites I have no raising agent?

Morning all

I'm starting at 125lbs, but can't add to the spreadsheet via iPad (is there a way I can?!) so if someone could add me please? Thanks so much. I've tried with my phone but it's being a knob.

Haven't eaten yet as I'm not hungry, it's been an emotional morning and anxiety makes me so tired. I'm drinking water and a coffee and will eat later.

Can't write my meal plan for today as I'm not sure yet, however I know there's some low carb things in and I promise i won't be a carby twat.

Have a great day all x

Lots of you seem to be having issues accessing the spreadsheet from the iPad - can you explain why?

It's a real faff for Sayra to have to keep adding people's weights, (and she's i an interview this morning!), so if there's a way people can get to do it that would be fine.

I'm ready to go. I've been doing a bit of hodge podge of low carb eating since March; taking all the bits of advice I liked and paying lip service to those that sounded a bit grim. This is making me feel really motivated. Thank you so much for organising this.

I have no idea what's wrong with this iPad. I think I demonstrated last bc that I am not a friend of technology! I am going to have to take it to someone to look at it as it is shutting down lots of pages it just doesn't like.

Not to worry about adding me. I know it's a hassle. I'm not at home so don't have my normal laptop. I'll ask mum if I can try from her PC.

OK here we go. I need the discipline of BC to keep me on the straight & narrow & make me focus. I've been low carbing lite for six weeks, have lost a few pounds but not as much as I hoped, and had a couple of bad days last week where I hit the carbs (and felt awful afterwards). I'm going to be strict with myself & cut out the dairy over the next two weeks to see what happens.

Weighed in at 196lb, which is annoying as I was 193 the other day Confused. I'm 5'10" so I can carry a bit of weight, but want to shift at least two stone.

DramaAlpaca · 11/05/2015 10:12

I've added a few of you to the spreadsheet as requested as I can easily do it here.

If anyone else wants me to add them, just shout.

sassandfaff · 11/05/2015 10:25

Thanks drama if you added me.

biwi the links at the top of the spreadsheet work for me, but if I click on any cells, nothing happens. No cursor comes up, it doesn't make the cell live iyswim. Unless I'm doing it wrong Confused do you just click on the cells are is there some other way?

I sit on the shit at technology bench with mrsk !

Lisba you can make mayonnaise with a white in using a stick blender. I use a whole egg and an egg yolk. I was going to suggest hollandaise too, but not sure about white in that. If you can separate into pure yolk/yolk with a bit of white in, you could make both. I know a very easy recipe for hollandaise if you want it (with stick blender not over bain marie).

BIWI I used to be able to do spreadsheet on ipad (though it took a while to respond) but since demonic 8.0 update it won't do it at all just freezes everything. I can do it fine from the laptop though so will add later.

Lisba mayo easy to make with stick blender/stick whisk too.

Hello everyone, btw. Smile I've been low carbing on and off for a couple of years and first did BC in May two years ago. Still have friends I made on that BC! Smile Have alternated low carbing with increasing periods of carby twatness since then, and my weight has crept back up again to not far off what it was when I started. Hmm

Began yet again on 27th April and have lost for and a half pounds since then (even with bank holiday weekend off for friends visiting). Am sticking with BC light for various reasons, but I shan't post tales of lovely nuts and berries and weekend wine until the hardcore fortnight is over. Wink

So, welcome and good luck to everyone.

Good morning everyone! I've managed to maintain(ish) since last BC, but no further losses. I'm hoping this BC will go as well for me as last, it was exactly the motivation I needed! So, here goes the next ten weeks...

I have such an addiction to hollondaise/bernaise! I'm pretty sure one day I'm going to be discovered drinking it as soup.

Morning lovelies, am having late breakfast of mushrooms fried in pork fat, bit of bacon and some leftover cauli and courgette chucked in for good measure. Had a herbal tea mix first thing with a spoon of coconut oil in. Am doing no dairy and it seems to be working (fingers crossed) I started last week and scales are down by six freakin' pounds! Woo hoo Grin

Report
StuntNun · 11/05/2015 11:17

Lisbo I would make two fried eggs with two yolks in each. My DS1 and DS2 used to like fried egg whites I know they're weird and I used to use up the excess yolks that way.

I got up this morning to find my mum preparing a ginormous pineapple for breakfast. Hmm So it looks like I'll be starting Bootcamp properly tomorrow.
