Welcome everyone!

Here's the Spreadsheet of Fabulousness that the lovely Sayra creates and cares for. Come and confess all.

If you prefer, you can use the individual Weight Tracker, provided by MNHQ, which will open (I hope) tomorrow morning.

Please make sure that you know the rules, and that you know about the allowed veg - look at the tabs at the bottom of the spreadsheet - and think about printing them off so that you have them to hand

If you have any questions, obviously you can ask them here, but there's also a specific questions thread because the chat threads can move so quickly that questions can get missed.

Unfortunately I'm working pretty full on for the next three days, so won't be around very much - I'll try and check in as much as I can, but in reality I'm not going to be around very much until Thursday - apologies in advance.

Very good luck to you all

B: Coyo plus BPC at the gym which I spilled down myself Hmm
L: chicken with endive and avo plus massive amounts of mayo
D: tandoori chicken and sag paneer

Hope that's good.

TheCowThatLaughs · 16/05/2015 20:16

I had some coyo today! It was lovely but £1.99 for a small pot from tesco Shock

mummyto3under4 · 16/05/2015 20:25

I WANT A GLASS OF NICE JUCY COLD GALLO SUMMER RED WINE!!! But I cannot have any :((((

I'm really struggling with the fat eating part of the boot camp each time I crave something sweet I have a couple of spoonfuls of double cream is this REALLY REALLY OK!! I feel like I'm on a diet but I'm cheating by eating so much fatty stuff like drizzling olive oil in salads or frying everything in fat and eating fatty cuts of meats. Had a bbq today and I ate meat with cheese, Mayo and just wrapped it up in lettuce leaves without even a second thought it's almost like bread and rolls etc no longer exist in my world. I feel lighter and stomach not so bloated. Thank you all ladies for your support especially BIWI

sassandfaff · 16/05/2015 20:30

Oh god. I just shopped at wait rose for the 1st time ever and when I got through the checkout, I realised I had left my bank card in my drawer.

Oh the shame. Blush Grin

TheHappyCamper · 16/05/2015 20:32

Evening all

Maryz Don't give up just because you had one moment of weakness. Get straight back on it. You can do it!

I made the most gorgeous shepherds pie for tea. I would happily eat it or serve it even if I wasn't low carbing. The beef mince had a grated courgette and carrot, half a onion and half a leek, plus a TBS of peas and sweetcorn. One beef stock cube, Worcester sauce and herbs. It made 5 individual pies so the carbs per pie should be pretty low. The topping was celeriac mash with butter and cream, then cheese grilled on the top. I served it with green beans, asparagus and courgette sautéed in butter - yum yum Smile.

Here's an interesting question if anyone is popping into LIDL. The FF Greek yoghurt comes in either a large tub or a pack of 4 small tubs. The label is the same, but the carbs/100g on the 4 small tubs is higher than the large tub. Why would that be? Surely it's the same stuff inside isn't it? Maybe I'm reading the label wrongly. Anyone care to check? (The 4 small tubs I bought says 5.0g/100g).

BIWI · 16/05/2015 20:46

YES MUMMY! FAT IS OK. FAT IS MORE THAN OK - IT IS POSITIVELY WONDERFUL! Grin

BIWI · 16/05/2015 20:47

TheHappyCamper - but that sounds pretty carby - onions, peas, carrots and sweetcorn?! They are all high carb veg.

Romeyroo · 16/05/2015 20:47

Exhausted here and not keeping up with thread - food a bit random too. Today was

B sausage, egg, cucumber and mayonnaise
L large salad and chicken wings (incl skin), oily dressing
D omelette made with two eggs, courgette, spinach and Brie.

feel like I over ate really but that is because I was so tired, it all took lots of effort

BIWI · 16/05/2015 20:48

Romey - that doesn't sound like over eating at all! It sounds like perfect low carb food.

HemanOrSheRa · 16/05/2015 20:50

You are reading the Lidl yoghurt labels correctly Camper! I checked as I thought the small pots would be better value. It's only me that eats plain yoghurt 'neat' here. But the carb content is higher than the large tub. 3.2g/100g in the 1kg tub. I bought the big tub and eat more of it Smile. I have no idea why they are different. Unless they are different brands? I thought they were the same though because I got a bit confused and double checked too.

Slinking in...biwi could you big stick me....I seem to be simultaneously bootcamp lite-ing and in some Jekyll and Hyde style bizarre fashion, having a serious sugar-twattery moment virtually every day....hangs head in shame....help, I really should know better...been LCing now for 8 months....please tell me off...then shout at me a bit.....then possibly tell me off a bit more...I think what's happening is I am single handed with the 14 month old a lot more now and have ended up missing lunch a lot...I also did some bad carb twattery just prior to starting this bootcamp and don't seem to have clicked back in properly...help!!

CrabbyTheCrabster · 16/05/2015 21:05

The kefir from the link I posted arrives fresh (have ordered from them 3 times) not dehydrated. I've always received it within 2 days of ordering (sometimes 1) and has started converting the milk straight away. Yes the grains are like cauliflower, and multiply quite quickly.

mummyto3under4 · 16/05/2015 21:06

How strange is that!! Surly it's the same stuff in the tubs no matter the size. Perhaps it's a mistake in print!! :/

Yayeee I can eat double cream without feeling guilty!!! And today for the first time I will have drunk the full quota of my daily water intake I've not managed to drink the whole 2.5l till today!!! Feeling positive another day complete and I've had no starch, no chocolate, no crisps, no biscuits, no sweets, no ice cream, no fruit, no unhealthy drinks. and more importantly especially on a weekend no bloody alcohol. Well done to us all!! FlowersStar

Wine I'll pour some water in a wine glass and watch a film now without any dirty filthy snacks

BIWI · 16/05/2015 21:08

But more seriously, why do you think you're doing that? I totally get that you're single-handed, but that says to me that you need to plan things a bit more - make sure you have easy, tasty low carb things to hand for you.

OP posts:
TheHappyCamper · 16/05/2015 21:12

BIWI - do you think so? In the pie I had was 1/5 of a carrot, 1/10 of an onion, about 15 peas and 10 sweetcorn kernels? Is that really terribly carby? I thought I was doing well as trying to feed my family healthy food but also make it good for me. I'm grumpy with myself now as I thought I did well Angry.

lisbapalea · 16/05/2015 21:12

Hi all!

Had a good day today I think:

B - scrambled eggs (with butter) on top of a large flat mushroom which was roasted with butter
L - roast beef and blue cheese on a dressed salad with home made coleslaw
D - some bbq'd calamari, followed by a spinach, avocado and roasted broccoli salad, dressed with oil and vinegar, as well as homemade mayonnaise flavoured with some lemon zest, but of juice and capers.

Off to friends tomorrow for a 5yr old's birthday party and a bbq. Hope there are some good options available! Will grab a good low carb breakfast before we leave, either an egg/ricotta muffin (but they're very garlicky so I might avoid that I I am going to be soicalising!), or some coyo.

LexLoofah · 16/05/2015 21:20

Hello all, just catching up, hectic day trying to keep house clean and tidy inbetween viewings, jeez will someone just buy it then I can stop going round the house putting the toilet lids down constantly

b - 2 x bacon & eggs scr in butter, cuppa, coffee w cream
L - huge salad drenched in hm mayo, Parma ham, cheese, olives, dill pickles - our salad drawer is now completely bare, must go shopping on Monday
Chai with cream
D - DH cooking rack of lamb, think he is planning roast swede or celeriac and green beans

Hoping to get out for a swim, Drs instructions for my tight shoulders

Tetley650 · 16/05/2015 21:31

Lex - know what you mean trying to sell too - let it slide a bit this week and now have to get everything ready for a 6pm viewing on Monday.

Anyway know how much water I've drunk today dachshund (who is Tetley) has the empty 1/2litre bottles to crush - 6 in the bin yeah!!

BIWI · 16/05/2015 21:36

Well, THC firstly, you didn't say that those quantities were so small!

But, actually, if they were so small - then why bother? Why not use more veg, but veg that's low carb?

If you're using high carb veg, it means that overall you're using less veg. Far better to use more veg, but make it low carb.

OP posts:
FresherThanYou · 16/05/2015 21:51

3lbs down Grin
B: protein shake
L: cauliflower & bacon muffins
D: black farmer sausage x 2 in lettuce & Boursin

BIWI · 16/05/2015 21:55

Fresher - that's great but

Why aren't you eating breakfast? (Rule 1)

And where is your veg?

You're not following the rules

OP posts:
BIWI · 16/05/2015 21:57

You're also not eating very much, and this isn't sustainable in the longer term. We're trying to make this a WOE - way of eating - not a diet.

OP posts:
FresherThanYou · 16/05/2015 22:19

Hi, I will I think when I find something I can stomach I'm just not used to eating breakfast & find it hard to get anything down. I have eaten a whole cauliflower today and 2 big lettuce leaves. Ok, I will have another look at the rules. I've also just given up being a vegetarian & struggling with that a bit. It was going vege that piled the weight on though!

MeerkatManners · 16/05/2015 22:38

Thanks Crabby I have been keeping low carb meals to myself but he couldn't resist the moussaka. Yes like your DH eats whatever he likes and built like a whippet bastard.

trashcanjunkie · 16/05/2015 22:46

Ooh it's fresh crabby, that's great. Yes she said she only sends it mon to Thursday and I ordered Friday so she should post it Monday to be here Tuesday.

Just been to see mad max: fury road. Bloody stonking. Tom Hardy out did Mel Gibson to my mind. Been climbing again today. Stiff as fuck now. Going again tomorrow Grin

Now gonna watch the first wayward pines, followed by mad max two, the original.
