You can tell it is a Monday when you crack the egg onto the bench instead of the bowl you intended. Hmm

Hope you are ok and work is not working you too hard BIWI Flowers for the new thread.

Fatstacks · 16/03/2015 13:05

Hello campers Grin

Well done everyone, it's week 9 and we're still at it Wink
Miracles happen, 1.5 down so maybe the shitty out of date softmints are laying in wait for next week Hmm

Going to morrisons for more cheap pork shoulder soon.
2.50 per kilo (and I can eat it by the kilo) so I'm attempting to do the same scuba as last week.

Have a good un and especially so for Nowits on Weds hope it all goes smooth Flowers

Romeyroo · 16/03/2015 13:05

No need to apologise - thank you for new thread.

I am a lb up from last week. Just going to KOKO and see what happens. As long as I don't go up too much more! Before my last loss, I bounced up and down for a few weeks. This BC is clearly just slow going for me.

Notagainmun · 16/03/2015 13:09

STS but not too worried as I have been pleased with my overall loss during camp. What date is the last weigh in?

sassandfaff · 16/03/2015 13:22

A 1lb gain for me. That's the 1st time I have registered a gain on a Monday. Ive had loads of gains before but fortunately they never fell on a Monday. Sts yesterday, so I'm not fussed.

biwi I went to Moscow in October. There is a fabulous Georgian restaurant, it was literally the best food I have ever tasted. Ive forgot the name, but if you fancy going I will ask dp, because he'll remember?

ChesterDrawers · 16/03/2015 13:31

1.8lb down from last week but still sticking at 10st 13. Determined to crack that particular nut this week, although the whole pack of M&S crispy bacon strips I've just scoffed may say otherwise.

B: eggs, butter
L: M&S hot smoked salmon, salad, M&S bacon strips
D: flax and parmesan chicken nuggets, celeriac chips, hm mayo

sassandfaff · 16/03/2015 13:36

Please can someone put 192 in for me?

Thanks. Thanks

LexLoofah · 16/03/2015 13:40

1lb down, quite pleased with that considering I had added back dairy AND had an emergency sq of choc every day due to chronic sleep deprivation. Resisted the shortbread though, do not quite know how.

DH down 3lb and v pleased BUT if I had not been with him at the weekend he would have ordered 'roasted veg' at a restaurant that turned out to be just peppers and onions when I asked for them to be more specific and would have had a few beers when offered as by his own admission has no will power and sensitive to peer pressure so I looked like the biggest rolling pin wielding nag by not so sutbly shaking my head and mouthing 'no' at him - he owes me.

B - a bit of leftover pork tenderloin with scr eggs and avo - put some chilli powder in the eggs as felt like it needed a spicy kick but couldn't really taste it. Would harrissa paste or tabasco be better - anyone do either of these?

BeyondDoesBootcamp · 16/03/2015 13:42

STS here, but period arrived so i'm hoping that its hiding a loss Grin

sassandfaff · 16/03/2015 13:42

found it biwi

Roasted poussin chicken. it was beyond divine!

LexLoofah · 16/03/2015 13:44

sass done for you

Also, my focus for this week is to try eating by my tummy rather than the clock, keep portion sizes in check and limit choc unless absolutely necessary so it does not become a habit again - would really like to break into the 140s by week 10, if I can lose 2lb by then I will be there. I know 140lbs is goal for some ladies on here but I am only 5ft so my supposed healthy range is 99-126 so will still have a way to go but moving in the right direction

CharlieSierra · 16/03/2015 13:47

I'm registering down 1lb but going to wait until tomorrow as have digestive ishoos (bunged up basically, dynamite will be deployed later if necessary).

Well done losers.

Pork carnitas are fab!

sassandfaff · 16/03/2015 13:51

Thank you lex

almahart · 16/03/2015 13:59

I'm up 1ib, but had lots of wine last week, is also totm. Can't say I'm not looking forward to the end of BC now but am koko

MrsKoala · 16/03/2015 14:05

BIWI! you glamourous jet setter! WTF were you doing responding to my interminable whinging last night when you had such an exciting life to lead? Grin

Have put on 2lb today. Very disappointing as all i have done is add a little dairy to my diet over the last week (a small amount of yogurt and cheese since Thursday) and had NO WINE :(

I ordered a Vivienne Westwood skirt which was massively reduced in a sale online in a size 16 thinking it would be pretty roomy and i could get it taken in. It has just arrived, and is it big? Is it bollocks. It's bloody tight. Haarrrumph!

Anyway, onwards for me and no dairy anymore i think. I have regrouped a little since last night and this morning told dh i would no longer make his breakfast and he could have cereal and toast - he said fine of course (but he'd prefer bacon and eggs!). I steamed fingers of swede, carrot, parsnip and squash for DS2 and thought i could then mash some for DS1 with his dinner too (but i'm thinking of stopping that now anyway, as i am babying him too much).

I had a smaller breakfast of 2 eggs and butter and spinach. I put 2 chicken leg/thigh joints in the oven (with some cubed swede and leeks, herbs and olive oil) for both mine and ds lunch. I served it up on the table and sat him on a chair rather than in his high chair (i know i know - he has been eating in a high chair in front of peppa pig up to now). He spat out the swede and leeks but ate the whole large chicken joint (he spat out the skin tho) - with cutlery. He then send 'thank you mummy, DEEEELISHOUS food' :) SO altho he would have eaten more veg had i been feeding him i feel i have to stop that now and let him feed himself. He has also been asking for ice cream and biscuits tho but i am ignoring that.

DS2 is poorly and slept thru lunch. Just waking now so i will try some veg sticks on him.

Thanks for the kick up the bum. Flowers

BIWI ? ???? ?????????? ?????????

You won't find this in the spies, sorry business travellers phrasebook I expect. Translates as 'Are there any carbohydrates in that?'

Can't help with the pronunciation sorry, got it from a Russian colleague who is also not a spy ...

MrsKoala · 16/03/2015 14:16

Is BIWI a spy?

Wishes jet setting biwi safe travels.
I'm still 110kg but I think my weights is only going off in fortnightly batches so KOKO for me. Breakfast of two boiled eggs on the hoof (woke up late after a sleepless night - combo of being annoyed at hubby for lack of mothers day festivities and a PTSD flashback followed by intrusive thoughts and husband snoring - so all his blo*dy fault, must work on being more chilled out as getting round up triggers me Confused) anyhow was out the door to dance class first thing with dd and made it in the nick of time. Went for a walk in the rain at a local castle after then home for a girlie lunch of scrambled eggs, courgette and hot smoked salmon (with a smidge of cream cheese for me). Was delicious but would have been better with a large glass of HPF Sauvignon Blanc no.7 but water had to do (I went all fancy and put a sprig of mint and ice in it!) x

Gcalgske · 16/03/2015 15:09

One pound off for me today, so I'm down to 190. Well, technically 189.8, but who's counting? It's now 18 days until I go on holiday. I would love to lose five pounds in that time. It would be a stretch, but it's not totally unrealistic.

I was hoping to get some thoughts about holiday eating. We're going to Thailand, so I'm realistic that there are going to be lots of noodles and I'm definitely going to have fruit. I'd like to be sensible but just enjoy the food and the experience. However, I'm a little concerned that eating carbs after 13 weeks without will make me feel unwell. Does anyone have experience with this? Should I try to have a few higher carb meals before I go, such as some fruit or higher carb veg? I just don't want to feel awful and miss out on an amazing holiday.

Quadrophonic · 16/03/2015 18:14

Hello, jumping in, I've been lchf for a year now, losing 2.5 stones. I had a health check in work a few months ago which was largely ok (still had too much body fat) but cholesterol all ok at 4.7

I had an eye test today and the optician asked if there was any history of cholesterol problems in the family as she could see cholesterol in my eye??

Now I'm worried, im only 42 and like this WOE, it keeps my weight down and I feel very healthy on it. She suggested I visit my GP but I'm a bit afraid they'll say to stop this WOE. Anyone else had this??

FurFoxAke · 16/03/2015 18:54

Utterly disastrous day yesterday. My 3yo got me marshmallows for Mother's Day as I like them. So I had some with him, wasnt as careful as normal and not enough water.

almahart · 16/03/2015 19:55

Had a good if boring day. Bpc then a handful of salted almonds at about 11. Salmon and salad for lunch, hm burger, celeriac chips and coleslaw for dinner.

I realised that I hardly felt hungry at all really and so am going to chuck in some intermittent fasting for this last fortnight, starting with doing a 16/8 thing.

Does BPC count in terms of fasting do you think? Anyone know?
