i said that i felt it wasn't fair he stay committed to me or in relationship with me when i was available so little. told him i have invites to belfast, hanover and wymouth before junes out and i dont want to be guilty over choosing whether i should go away or stay see him. as whether its him or my friends i choose to see.. one will be getting let down.

oh.. and that his constant texting is giving me problems and distracting me form studying.

Monty100 · 04/05/2010 22:49

Juice - he's not going to accept that though is he?

OP posts:
DONTtouchMUMSspecialJUICE · 04/05/2010 22:52

ninah · 04/05/2010 23:02

DONTtouchMUMSspecialJUICE · 04/05/2010 23:06

DONTtouchMUMSspecialJUICE · 04/05/2010 23:07

goodnight ladies. off to bed.

Monty100 · 04/05/2010 23:09

Ninah - at the English queueing politely. They do, so they do.

Do it in Costa - lmao. Why does no-one cry in Costa??

Juice - do you have to do it face to face??

OP posts:
ninah · 04/05/2010 23:12

You know it makes sense
the glaring lights, the urgent choice of caramel syrup or vanilla mousse with your medium skinny latte decaff to drink in - and decide now because there is a man tapping his foot behind you
the people sprawled in the window over the one comfy sofa so you are left with the table with the brown puddle
all that caffeine in the air
does your head in
no one can CRY
snack bar dumping at its best smile listen and run (make sure yours is expresso)
don't forget to give us an update
night all

ninah · 04/05/2010 23:14

monty you have a look
no one does
too manic
or in the cafes in discount retail outlets like Bicester Village

Betty79 · 05/05/2010 00:22

Looks like I've missed out a bit tonight!

Just had to come on a post quickly, had second date with boilerman tonight and all i can say is he's just text and said i owe him dinner now so i take it i might be seeing him again!

DONTtouchMUMSspecialJUICE · 05/05/2010 08:08

betty - yes.. but it'll be your 3rd date.... shall you be taking him out for dinner? or cooking for him? as you know a way into a mans pants heart is through his stomach

lou33 · 05/05/2010 09:21

for cooking juice means shagging

omg @ crying

that brings back a memory of a guy i was seeing once, i decided i just couldnt keep seeing him because he irritated the fuck out of me and i didnt fancy him enough

so i told him when we were in my car one morning and he started crying

i handed him a tissue and told him to have a bit of a cry cos it would make him feel better, and one of us had to be an adult about it.....

iamfabregasted · 05/05/2010 09:29

don'ttouch - ohhh belfast, just down the road from me then.

and yes, I know about the pig etc etc unfortunately tis not me you have to convince.......

DONTtouchMUMSspecialJUICE · 05/05/2010 09:49

knock - oh well... he'll find out soon enough if she's proctective.

belfast .. irish has floated the idea of going over with him for a family members 50th.but for complicated reason need to go to belfast then onto southern to where he's from. dont think i'll go tbh though. thats crossing the blurred friendship boundary too far.

lou - @ "someone needs to be adult"

lou33 · 05/05/2010 12:11

oh juice it was awful, he was this big blubbery snotty mess of tears, i was thinking wtf it isnt like we had been together for years ffs

then he kept trying to hug me goodbye

iamfabregasted · 05/05/2010 12:20

lou - poor u

i've just had mr mcfuckable txt me and offer to teach dd to sail!!! result!! problem is, I will have to go too and I will NOT look good in a wet suit

lou33 · 05/05/2010 12:29

it really annoyed me, was long ago though

luckily i have a lovely one now

SingleMum01 · 05/05/2010 13:30

hi all just popping in to mark my place. Getting my own back on RAF bloke now - ribbing him about his uniform!

piratecat · 05/05/2010 13:52

lol @ lou's cryer.

ok have told winker we really are not compatible. i can't fully explain why, but he's just to random and emotional sounding. i KNOW, and that's coming from lil old emotional me.

Kept sayig but you can't get my tone of voice and stuff, it's different in person, but tbh, altho it is, if you don't 'get' the person whilst typing and somethings not sitting right then it's just not going on. he seemed to come across as a bit self absorbed, and a tad needy. he denied it totally saying i had him totally wring, and that he was really shocked cos onnoe in his whole life had EVER said that to him about him.

by now i was thinking, thats cos you prob don't EVER listen, and you need to grow up.

I need strength and down to earthness.

xx

lou33 · 05/05/2010 14:30

nah he probably has it said to him all the time and is just bullshitting you

if you dont feel it then you dont feel it

i managed to see the bf for a whole 90 mins yesterday, he came down after working late on a private job, had something to eat then got called out by the highways agency

he finished that job at 1am, got called by them to go to another one, then slept in his work truck until 5 when they called him again!

he starts work for his normal day shift at 6.30 am as well, which he has to do

and he is likely to be called out again tonight

he is on call mon - thurs but he doesnt usually have the big big truck, so isnt often called upon, but atm he does have it so will no doubt be shattered by the time the weekend comes, and he is working half of that too

mrsmharket · 05/05/2010 15:51

made it

pc - music guy as nickname sounds good
but is he good at playing music sorry have been tlaking to these ladies too long

juice - how about bonkers biker? as for running off, i already have trainers on from previous post i agree with lou and get someone to call you with urgent message be careful though please can you block his number from your phone? btw what's BFS?

sponge - could you rearrange the date?

raven - i agree with the x having control issues, dd's dad is exactly the same and has in the past asked dd if i am sleeping with anyone?
i agree with juice and lou about pets and responsibility going hand-in-hand but that also includes him being responsible too

sm - sounds like we both need the running shoes

ninah - at english queueing! i read all the way to the bottom of the thread and was just about to write this comment when i saw the message about the thread being too big

betty - yay for you and boilerman

lou - rofl 'being adult about it' mechanic on call out

sorry if i've missed anyone out

oh and have blocked him on fb strangely enough there was no message today. had already made the decision to say sod off becasue the more and more that i thought about it yesterday, the more he was starting to sound possessive and i thought ewww no

back to square one again

lou33 · 05/05/2010 16:11

dunno if it was me or not but i will take the credit for saying it

mrsmharket · 05/05/2010 16:21

and i even asked an ethel austin lady why they stocked bikinis for 7 year olds (couldn't see one for younger ages) and why it was considered acceptable to dress young girls like tarts older than they were. she seemed like a nice lady and agreed with me, so i said could you refuse and she said that it was basically the suppliers that made the decision

me: could you refuse to stock them?
ea lady: there is demand for them and people buy them
me: i think it's disgusting and degrading for little girls to wear something like that
ea lady:i can talk with the line manager
me: there is a campaign on mumset to get shops to stop stocking such products, coudl you perhaps direct them to view that campaign on mumsnet?

and she said she would

she must have been thinking whois this mad lady?
