dressing up in sexy stuff eve

DONTtouchMUMSspecialJUICE · 08/04/2010 16:49

eve - it's not the in thing. it's same as it always was.. has a following.. but usually not everyones cup of tea. it's just there's a scene for it in glasgow so is quite common here and club noir nights are well known for an alternative to a normal night out.

"outfits/lingerie".. can mean a whole range of things eve... really something you would need to be explained in full so you know what your in for.

it could be a cheap tacky anne summers type outfit... or something more upmarket like the noir outfits... if you go look at my pictures you will see some of the previous noir photo's.. last halloween noir was rather dark.. as a group we had a bondage theme together going on. it depends the theme of the noir night. this time the theme is sailor and samba. there will be lots of sailor outfits.. and some rio carnival dancers... think huge feather headresses and bikini's adorned with jewels.

there's a strict dress code. EVERYONE must be dressed.. and it must be classy.. not tacky or admission will be refused. which they do stick to. people spend hundreds of pounds on their outfits and the event.. it's wrong for it to be ruined by someone who's got their primark bra on and acting like a slapper
there's shows on stage from 9pm till 2am when it finishes..

arcobatics,
poets
theatre tricks
magicians
dj set(retro music)

and of course burlesque dancers.

it's held in big old theatre where you can be down the stalls area standing to watch.. or grab a seat up in the auditorium and watch the show.

it's very heavily security with very strict bouncers. but tbh i have never seen any bother.. and to be truthful i get felt up more on a night out in a normal club. people dont try and leer and letch even though all dressed like this

its usually same crowd. so spend alot of time going round seeing faces you know and seeing what they have dressed as. compare outfits.

eve - your outfit thing can also go to the bondage type outfits.. which are a bit much for me... or he might just have a specific thing like suspenders.

or maybe he likes the uniform type of outfits?

where did you see it? on a profile... or has your young althetic expressed a fondness???

SingleMum01 · 08/04/2010 17:29

lurve the outfit Juice, wish i was young enough to wear something like that again! Sounds like a great night too

lou33 · 08/04/2010 17:35

oi, nothing wrong with primark bras [winmk]

DONTtouchMUMSspecialJUICE · 08/04/2010 17:45

lou - no there's not. but you wouldn't wear them on public show

sm - i am in the minority with the 20's age group. average age is 30's. and a fair share of 40's.

lou33 · 08/04/2010 17:49

SingleMum01 · 08/04/2010 19:43

look top nights - are they in London? You wouldn't see anything like that where I am!

DONTtouchMUMSspecialJUICE · 08/04/2010 19:59

sm - no glasgow. i'm up north.

Remotew · 08/04/2010 20:25

Juice, I've seen a link to Noir before. Sounds great, wonder if I would enjoy something like that, nothing going on around here.

I was asking as Athletic mentioned something. I have got stuff somewhere in the house. Will ask outright what he likes if it gets that far.

The only solution I have to my space issue would be on my day off when school is back. Not ideal but kinda appropriate to the situation. Gawd this is conjuring up images now so I better not say anymore about it.

DONTtouchMUMSspecialJUICE · 08/04/2010 20:32

ooooh yes to some daytime retreating to the bedroom.

and just ask. i'm sure he has an idea exactly what he likes.

debenhams/h&m and m&s do the best stocking ranges i've seen. there's a massive variety of designs these days.... primark and debenhams do some great value suspender belt/bra sets.where you can use the bra/pants part still as a nice wee undie set for everyday wear

Janos · 08/04/2010 20:35

Hello you lovely lot. Glad to see the thread still going strong

Just marking my place, as it were, to let you all know that I haven't disappeared off the face of the earth.

Nothing going on in my life in man terms, just plodding along but tbh thats fine. I'm on an even keel and quite content at the moment.

lou33 · 08/04/2010 20:42

BertieBotts · 09/04/2010 02:28

Hello, I am told this is a thread where you all discuss dating - can I join? Left XP at the beginning of December, and just tentatively starting to see a new man. (He lives quite far away so there is a bit of forced distance there, but OK with that TBH, I just want to take it slowly) I am a bit worried that 4 months doesn't sound very long but it feels fine - TBH I think I was over XP before I ever actually left!

Feel free to ask me to expand on stuff or other questions etc, just wasn't sure what to put in my first post.

SingleMum01 · 09/04/2010 09:15

Hi BB - this is a great support site, some are dating some are not. I'm just off out for the day, but welcome to the thread and catch you later x

DONTtouchMUMSspecialJUICE · 09/04/2010 10:35

hi janos - glad your doing well

bb - hi, yup. we're all here sharing our joy of dating as lp's.

where did you meet nm? is he from internet or RL meeting? there's both on here. how often do you see him?

how far away is the distance? give me it in driving time? cant work out mileage

do you mean 4 months doesn't seem long since split with exp? or you have been seeing nm for 4 months?

it's not really about time from when you split.. but just what feels right.
