Lol at my last sentence. Hope the grammer police aren't around.

Lou - Looked at your profile. Doris is gorgeous. Want one.

Monty100 · 06/04/2010 16:09

grammar

Jeez

Am smoking like a choo choo here too!

Remotew · 06/04/2010 16:12

Monty, so you were prepared to move in with him and he's rented the rooms to other people?

Sounds like you are better off staying put and keeping your independence. How did the DC's feel about it?

kdk · 06/04/2010 16:15

Want puppy too - will swap for twins? Only slightly used and (almost) completely house-trained ... only joking (I think). Do want puppy though.

And I can make it from 5ish Monty et al.

Monty100 · 06/04/2010 16:18

Eve - I think we were all a bit reluctant and dp sensed it. But we were going to give it a shot.

Am thinking will sell this, buy another, and dump him for good! But money is really tight. I could cry I'm so angry, and shocked and disappointed in his twuntery. And disappointed in my wimpiness for needing him in my life at all. The prospect of putting this on the market and sorting it all overwhelms me. Otherwise he would be history.

Does that make me evil??

Remotew · 06/04/2010 16:23

Monty, no not evil . Just a little needy but that is down to finances.

I totally understand where you are coming from. The times when it upsets me that I am single without support is when I am feeling poor. Once the crisis passes, I plod along quite happily.

If it's your house that is crippling you then put it on the market and see what happens. You don't need a man to do that, you need an Estate Agent. lol

Good luck with it. Once you are sorted out you can then try and find the kind of guy you never want to dump.

kdk · 06/04/2010 16:24

Have to say that apart from Lou's, the general twuntery and idiocy involved with those of a male persuasion, is making me more and more glad that I am single.

Funnily enough, when I said as much in response to a query on DfP I never heard from the guy again. All I said was that I had not yet met anyone, was pretty cynical about internet dating anyway, had high standards about what I was willing to accept in a partner and wasn't desperate to meet anyone anyway!

kdk · 06/04/2010 16:26

And no, not evil at all, Monty - just worried as we all probably are in these uncertain times.

However, I'm a strong believer in the saying 'this too shall pass' and that things have a way of coming right when you need them/least expect them.

Second completely what Eve says!

And will buy you extra large glass bucket of fave tipple on Friday!

lou33 · 06/04/2010 16:31

monty, and he didnt even discuss it with you?!!

the puppy is dora btw

in breaking news i just found a ring in the washing machine that i think came from bf's hoodie (he left it here and i washed it)

he says it isnt his but it isnt any of our jewellery

i am having great fun winding him up about it

told him i know its the thought that counts, but it's too big

lou33 · 06/04/2010 16:32

oh and finally pic of me and bf is up (pc went booloo so i had to restart)

DONTtouchMUMSspecialJUICE · 06/04/2010 16:36

monty - and at your dp being a twunt. tis rather insensitive to not even discuss it. do you think he's trying to make a point? albiet in an arsey fashion that he was aware you weren't keen.

DONTtouchMUMSspecialJUICE · 06/04/2010 16:37

lou - i seen that. was wondering if you were going to comment

lou33 · 06/04/2010 16:40

i am gonna have a lot of fun with this when he comes down later ....

piratecat · 06/04/2010 16:44

lou, phwoar he is divine!!!!

Remotew · 06/04/2010 16:48

So who's ring is it then Lou?

Catch up later as it's home time. Yippee!!

piratecat · 06/04/2010 16:49

juice, sorry to hear your latest update, what a flakey man. nope taking your profile down is hardly marriage. Wjat the hell IS he looking for, he doesn't seem to know does he. Maybe he never will.

lo33, me and dd want a dachs, we love them but they are £££££.

Monty100 · 06/04/2010 16:54

Eve - oh you do make me smile. It's all about insecurity which is why I'm at myself as well. It is the house that's crippling me. But I don't want to downsize ifyswim. There's still a few bits that need doing before I get a man estate agent in. As once they're here they'll want to put it on the market straight away. greedy gets

Oh and he says he will give me a cut of the rents! We'll see won't we.

Juice - I need your head. Yes he is being an arse arsey.

He was all nice as pie about it, said he didn't discuss it with me because I would have disagreed. Well of course I would have disagreed when I intended to move in there (when it was ready, which was taking a month of Sundays).

Kdk - will look forward to the vat nice glass of wine lol. 5pm is good for me, I'll pop in there and ask them to keep a table for us in case its busy at that time. It's just an ordinary pub, nothing fancy but its ok.

Ladies, I must calm down. Your supportive words have helped.

DONTtouchMUMSspecialJUICE · 06/04/2010 16:59

monty - i've turned fb chat on. i'm making dinner, while getting ready for date. but will keep an eye out if you want to ping and have a rant

piratecat - last week he was "i dont know what i want.".. this wkd he was" i know exactly what i want and i'll come off pof"... yesterday we were back to "i dont know for sure what i want"...

well guess what ... i KNOW what I WANT... and its not forces anymore.

sincitylover · 06/04/2010 17:01

will be there at about 5.30

Shall I wear a flower lol?

lou33 · 06/04/2010 17:20

pirate

he reckons the woman who is breeding will be selling them for less than he paid for boris , which was 700 quid

needless to say if he gets his own way, he will be the one paying for it

eve, no idea whose ring it is, but i am having huge amounts of fun at his expense about it

Monty100 · 06/04/2010 17:38

SCL - 5.30 grand. Dare you to wear a flower lol. You'll recognise me as I'll be looking all furtive and shy. lol

Ninah - you around?

Right popping to local express tesco to get some wine food for dinner.

Monty100 · 06/04/2010 17:40

Lou - what's the story with the ring???

Remotew · 06/04/2010 17:41

Monty, if he wants to help you out with a cut of the rent, and he will be flush as renting out rooms is lucrative, then make sure you get it in writing that this money is non-repayable. Seriously you will need to cover that one.

Seems very generous of him, maybe he is in it for the long haul.

kdk · 06/04/2010 17:43

I shall be wearing Friday's Guardian and carrying a folded umbrella - you won't miss me will you?

lou33 · 06/04/2010 17:44

he left a hoodie here, i washed it , with some other pocketless stuff, when i opened hte machine the ring was glinting at me in the seal, so i checked with the kids if it was theirs, as it isnt mine

he is also denying it is his and we are now having a lot of wind up banter about how i dont like it and to take it back etc, with him calling me his wife

i am waiting for him to come here so i can grill him
