sincitylover · 05/04/2010 22:02

yes unfortunately am working.

Would have loved the week off

How about you?

Monty100 · 05/04/2010 22:11

Same. Groan. I remember you saying a while ago you were dc-free Easter week. I was wondering if Sponge is in London and Kdk able to do a quick drinkie early doors one evening? And any other sad Londoner?

sincitylover · 05/04/2010 22:30

I can do friday

kdk · 05/04/2010 22:35

Hiya Monty and SCL

I could possibly be up for a swift half (a gallon of merlot!) if you twisted my arm ...

Should be getting my assignment finished but think I've pretty much finished and just need to lose a third of it and write five reflective practice journals and plan next week's lesson and I'm good to go!

Thursday or Friday would be best for me if either work for you two ... what about you Sponge ... or any other London ladies for that matter?

Next week's also not too bad as still off college so could do that if easier.

hatesponge · 05/04/2010 22:50

you only have to mention drinks and here I am

had some icky bug thing since the early hours of saturday hence why I've been a bit quiet this weekend(that and the continuing saga of the Ex) but feeling much better now - and I'm sure I will be fully recovered for the end of the week

am home late Thurs but not working on Friday so can do anytime that day.....

Monty100 · 05/04/2010 23:14

Good grief ladies! Friday it is. No excuses! Yayyyyyyy!

Same place as I linked the last time suit everyone? Will do another link from work tomorrow if you haven't got.

(Sorry for disappearing for an hour, dsis on phone).

Monty100 · 05/04/2010 23:19

Hate - sorry

Are you better?

Our Juice was sick the other day too. And SM's ds.

Lot around at mo. If you are off work, are you ok coming into town?

Remotew · 06/04/2010 09:34

Right, looks like you can all do Friday, so do it this time .

I'm at work and wish it was 5 o'clock already, how gloomy.

lou33 · 06/04/2010 09:40

morning all how are we?

i am off to have an injection in my stomach...

DONTtouchMUMSspecialJUICE · 06/04/2010 10:14

scl - ooooh childfree time. you must be in heaven.

sponge - sorry to hear your unwell too.

lou - is the injection for your womens problems?

eve - every min passed is a minute less till 5pm.

you lot better hook up on fri

as for me... well..

forces and i had the discussion over the wkd during the big chat about pof profiles. and agreed to delete them. i went online to delete mines, seen his was still on(and he had been "active today" on it).. so asked him if he was going to stick to our agreement and remove.

his response of "not sure"

isn't dating he says but feels its a big step (wtf???)

lost my patience with his fear ladies.

told him to piss off for good as i wasn't interested in a relationship with someone who wanted to continue online flirting.

so... looks like i am now single again.

not feeling down about it. but bloody .. that we had agreed to do remove from pof .... if i'd known he was going to do this... i would never have let him meet kids.

thank goodness it was only a couple of hours for sunday lunch. but if i'd known this was going to be the way i would have sent him on train before kids got returned from their dads. was his idea to stay and meet them as he insisted he was giving it a proper try.

kdk · 06/04/2010 10:53

@ juice - really sorry to hear about forces ... but have to say if he can't even make the commitment to remove his profile from PoF, I'm not sure you've really lost that much tbh - sure it still hurts though especially about the children.

His loss, though, not yours. You can, and will, do much better ...

I am supposed to be writing a reflective practice journal entry of 400 words about the experience and learning gained from writing the assignment I finished writing yesterday (and that I need to lose 483 words from ...) It's a nice sunny day and I would rather take the kids to the park ...

DONTtouchMUMSspecialJUICE · 06/04/2010 11:01

kdk - writing a report like that would make me fancy a wee sleep. feedback reports are possibly the dullest idea someone came up with. they have there place i suppose in creating better assignments for future.. but.. lord they are dull.

and well... yup... completely true... i mean ffs... taking your profile of a website is hardly marriage is it ...

Remotew · 06/04/2010 11:02

Sorry about forces, Juice. Glad you told him to p--- off, time to cut your losses there.

sincitylover · 06/04/2010 11:24

god I hate all that self reflection stuff when its connected to how I did an assignment or report. Like to overdo it in my personal life though

yes Juice I do feel very calm actually without the dcs but was still late for work today.

Just spoken to my mum and was saying the house is still a tip and she said well you will have time this week - er when if I am at work and I am spending my evenings with friends rather than doing housework.

I do admire your forthright attitude to affairs of the heart. I have toughened up alot over the years but still allow the odd one to pierce my armour.

Ouch Lou that sounds nasty but hope you will be OK

Sponge get well soon.

Monty - yes please put the link to that pub as I don't have it anymore

kdk · 06/04/2010 11:30

What time works for everyone - earlier or later? I've realised I promised my kids I would do Friday night dinner with them but could switch it to Saturday instead I think ....

And, Monty, I second reposting pub name as have forgotten - it's sort of Euston/Holborn way isn't it?

And reflective practice journals are my pet hate - especially when you HAVE to do them - if they are for my reflection and my practice, surely it's up to me to do them and they should not be for anyone else's consumption ... GRRR

and Lou hope injection doesn't hurt too much.

sincitylover · 06/04/2010 11:39

would have to be just after work for me - about 6ish

lou33 · 06/04/2010 12:44

juice i am sorry to hear your news , but agree with kdk, though it cant be much consolation i am sure

and yes the injection is regarding the op i am having in 2 weeks, i have to have one six weeks and two weeks previously before i go in

it doesnt hurt much, just when it goes in as its quite a big needle, but all done now

news of the day is that the bf is on a mission to persuade me to have another puppy

he has found someone who is going to mate her standard sized dachshund, and for less than the going rate, so is now trying to get round me

i am of course not saying a word to the kids, though he will of course get them onside to wear me down, lol

DONTtouchMUMSspecialJUICE · 06/04/2010 13:10

lou - your soon going to have more dogs than dc.

and you lot should know me by now.back on pof

supposed to be going on a date tonight with someone closeby. we shall call him mr motorola.

had baby sitter as was supposed to be seeing forces. seems a shame to waste it.

and do you lot remember big ducks.... the one where i went on date and ended up meeting his gran, sis and df on it.. think me and him are going swimming tomorrow..

i'm going to wear my old hideous faded grey speedo swimsuit without cup support or tummy support. hoping to turn him off rather than give him any ideas .. quite fancy a swimming buddy.

sincitylover · 06/04/2010 13:23

you'd be surprised juicy what turns some men on - sounds like the swimming equivalent of Bridget Jones big knickers and look what happened there!!

DONTtouchMUMSspecialJUICE · 06/04/2010 13:28

nah... big ducks is more the corset and bondage type

think he'd be swimming with a rudder if i was dressed in a bandau style cossie or something with a belt alal james bond style bikini.

lou33 · 06/04/2010 13:33

haha @ rudder

i said to bf that i was going to start calling him noah

Monty100 · 06/04/2010 15:26

Hi everyone

here's the pub Does this suit everyone? What time would suit everyone? Kdk what time would you have had dinner with dcs? I don't mind splitting about 7pm or so. Hate traipsing on trains sozzled late.

I'm not at work today, I rang in sick as neighbour had 18th birthday party and I was still awake at 4am with a banging headache. Omg it was torture.

Juice - at Forces. I admire your strength, I really do.

Eve - nearly home time?

SCL - lol at your mum expecting you to do the housework instead of having fun. Bless.

Lou - how was the injection. Ouch. Think you deserve a Dissarono this evening.

Kdk - omg that work sounds brain achey. I think the park would be calling me too lol.

The weather is indeed beautiful today good day for a sickie lol. Didn't get out of bed til midday though. Grrrr

lou33 · 06/04/2010 15:41

the injection was ok monty, it just stings a bit when it goes in

no disaronno in the house, just a couple of beers left from easter

if i had the funds i would come join you for a drink, but

a) i am broke and need to give any i have left towards dd1's 18th on sunday

b) bf is out on friday night so wouldnt be able to watch the kids (dd1 is too stroppy with them atm for me to relax enough to leave them with her)

c)their father wouldnt agree to having them now he has done his once a year "favour" to me

lou33 · 06/04/2010 15:57

btw for anyone who is interested and doesnt have me on fb, i am just uploading a couple of puppy pics and one of me and the bf onto my mn profile

Monty100 · 06/04/2010 16:02

Lou - that's such a shame, would have been brilliant if you could have come. Deffo another time. What's happening for your dds 18th? Glad the injection was ok, early beer o'clock then.

What's everyone doing for dinner? So sick of the dc's and their blardy faddy eating! (Well, I'm not the best with food myself lol).

Actually, I'm really upset, dp has gone and rented out two rooms in his house when we were planning that me and dcs move in there and rent mine out. He says he knew I didn't really want to, which I wasn't mad keen on (because its his house), but was going to give it a shot. I am absolutely . He didn't even discuss it with me.

I think he has a lot of potential twuntery.
