Caravan on driveway

I have just returned home to find a caravan parked on my driveway.
I have been away for 5 days visiting my son.
Can someone advise me what I can do to get it removed. I have no idea who it belongs to.

Op we need more details! Have you tried to open the doors, is there anything/anyone inside it ? Is there a reg plate ?

Where I live people dump hooky cars around the back of our house (also a popular area for drug deals). A caravan would be nicked it destroyed within 10 minutes.

OP you post a photo ? If you capture the brand and model and some of the outside it will be fairly easy to work out if it’s a junker or actually worth ££

Are you northern op? Appleby horse fair is on this weekend. There's caravans dumped randomly all over where I am, the stopping places are full and there's less landowners allowing the travellers field use this year. It's carnage. If you are it will be gone in a couple of days, but I wouldn't block your drive.....

Unbelievable what some of you are saying, this could be some poor families' pride and joy, stolen just as they were about to leave on their first holiday for two years!! The OP hasn't said how old it is. Could be a £25k one or a £500 banger. no matter, it probably belongs to someone poor things.

Step 1 - block them in
Step 2 - hide and drink alcohol
Step 3 - post on local FB
Step 4 - report back to MN
Step 5 - repeat steps 2 to 4

Sixes and eights So there whole point of your story is that somebody parked for a few minutes on your drive so they could have a quick chat with your neighbour? Why were you such an unreasonable neighbour? We're you not embarrassed? Jesus it's great to have lovely normal friendly neighbours who might wave at me if they saw me grabbing a chat with a friend.
They might be wondering why your friend was parked on their drive and not yours.

My neighbour was embarrassed that this man had parked half on my drive, as any normal person would be. We always ask if we can use each other's drives, for deliveries and suchlike, that's also what normal people do. We are very friendly.

My neighbour at the other side has a dropped kerb at the back and people are forever parking in front of it, drives him nuts!

Thieves often steal a caravan & leave it somewhere for 48 hours to see if it has an active tracker on board, if it is still where they left it they come back to collect it safe in the knowledge it hasn't an active tracker.

Has it got one of those lock things? Can you not just tow it onto the road and leave it there for the police to sort out?

I'm assuming you've talked to neighbours and checked no one is living in it
