Does anyone have any recent experiences of Kings Fertility for IVF and other fertility treatment? And in particular of Dr Ippokratis Sarris?

Amazing @Pregnant4456 ! That's a fab result for the blood test and good that you were able to push for the scan. Will definitely put your mind to rest before the holiday at least.

Hi @Cornwall1988 how are you feeling? Has the bloat settled and are you feeling more about yourself? Can't remember if you're waiting for a call with an update on the embryos today but if so, I hope it goes well!

@Pregnant4456 I know you're on holiday so hope you're enjoying your time away!

I just left the clinic for a Day 8 scan. Follicles are developing ok and some small ones have caught up which is good. I'm back there on Wed morning for another scan 🤞

Hi @Nina861, glad your scan today went well, that must be really reassuring. It’s fascinating watching the growth on the chart isn’t it?

We had our day 6 update today and got three 5 day blasts yesterday and three 6 day blasts today so really thrilled with that. (The slow grower at day 3 caught up to make a 4AA embryo though it was ‘abnormally fertilised’ as it showed one pro nucleus or something like that!). Anyway, having them all frozen and sent off for PGT-A so fingers crossed! The stats at my age for a PGT-A normal are fairly slim but you’ve got to be in it to win it I guess!

How are you feeling now on STIMS? My bloating has pretty much gone, still a bit of v low level period type pain at times but really mild.

@Cornwall1988 that's a fantastic update, well done those little blasts!! And off they go to PGT-A! Those 2 weeks will fly by, hopefully. How exciting!
Glad you're feeling much better too. I'm feeling well! Some days/hours a little more bloated than others and I had low level nausea one evening but otherwise, so far so good! 🤗 Let's hope for good news on Wed 🤞

Glad you’ve been feeling generally ok too. So I guess they’ll start thinking about when to trigger you after Wednesday’s scan? Though good you would still have time before the weekend if they wanted to scan you again. Exciting times!

@Cornwall1988 yes the consultant said the follicles are tracking ok so he expects them to be in the right middle part of the chart (if that makes sense) by then. We'll then assess whether to trigger on Friday or have me go for a scan in the morning to check if we're good to go.

@Cornwall1988 six blasts is excellent and is exactly the kind of number that can bulldozer through the age barrier.

Great that it’s all on track @Nina861 and you’ve got a couple of scans to keep an eye on things in the meantime.

@Cornwall1988 I just did my scan and the consultant was happy with it all so had a blood test done and met with the nurse for the trigger. If the result of the bloods comes back ok, my EC is scheduled for Saturday morning!
I've been absolutely fine on stims, just a bit of water retention and slight bloat but like most things, the worry of side effects was worse than the side effects (luckily!)

I’m good thanks @Nina861. The occasional bit of low level cramps from time to time but very minor so pretty much back to normal! No meds anymore as we’ve frozen all so just waiting for the results. Seems like a long wait. Though in a way nice to have a longer stretch with no more progress checks for a little bit.

Will you do a fresh transfer or freeze all?

@Cornwall1988 that's great and yes I bet it feels like a long wait now for the results but it'll fly back.
Think back of how quickly these 3 weeks have gone - from baseline to EC. Mad!
We are also doing PGTA testing so similar timeframe to you in a way 🤗

That’s true, this cycle has gone v quickly so hopefully the next few weeks will too!

I'm booked for 10:30 so should be home at around lunchtime and can then enjoy a very chilled weekend.

Just on our way home now. EC was super smooth and I got 7 eggs from 9 follicles which is not bad at all. Let's see what the udpates are in the next few days.
I'm just going to sit in the garden and in the sun all afternoon I think!

So glad all went smoothly @Nina861 - that’s great news and an excellent plan to lie in the sun all afternoon. I was very dozy for the rest of the afternoon I think so sun lounging sounds like the way forwards!

Hi @Nina861, just checking in to see how you’re doing recovery wise and waiting for those updates! We’ve still got another week at least to wait for our PGTA results…not too impatient so far but I’m sure I will be by the time next week comes!

Hi @Cornwall1988 thanks for checking in on me. Recovery is going well! I just had a little bit of period-like pain yesterday but paracetamol and hot water bottle sorted it all.
I'm waiting for a call with the Day 3 update. The wait is definitely the worst part of it all...!
I'm pretty sure I'll have to do another round - I just have that feeling in my stomach, but I guess I would know what to expect in that case.

How many blast did you send to PGTA?
