Our old clomid thread is no longer allowing new comments, and it's taken me 24 hours and multiple failed comments to understand why - we filled it up So thought I'd start a new one...

@AmyMaria2 I've used preseed before but not as much as they say as its ALOT! I don't use it all the time though.

Yes @Jemstar33 I think being scanned has its positives and negatives.....the cost is the thing that's putting me off the most though at the min!

@seven201 yes it was a good appointment really, I think I just got myself in a bit of a tiz because of having to go home and inject myself (which was fine!) and then the discussion about the 2 mature follicles with others waiting in the wings!

I just wish I had a crystal ball and knew if things are going to work out for us or not.....Its the not knowing that I find really difficult. I'm 38 at the beginning of next year and I just feel as though time is running out for us.....

Welcome @DobbieFreeElf.....your story sounds quite similar to mine.

I have only done 2 rounds of clomid and currently mid cycle with my 2nd but I found it didn't lengthen my LP during my first cycle, which was what I was really hoping for, so have been put on progesterone pessaries for this time.

Re the scans my hospital advised it to check how I'm responding ect, but I do think we might try a couple of cycles without if this one doesn't work out and like you, we are looking towards IVF at the beginning of next year unless (fingers massively crossed!) I don't fall pregnant on the Clomid.

Thanks @BinkyB4, in my mind it’s worth a shot before investing thousands in IVF! I won’t worry that I’m not being scanned then, just keep doing what we’re doing! Did you find your peak cane at a different tome or stay the same as it did naturally? X

It's CD9 for me today and I know I'm testing early but opk is looking super low! I'm definitely feeling cramps though so hopefully it will get darker as the days come !

Scan on Monday was a waste of time! They couldn’t see anything except polycystic ovaries (no shit) and didn’t do an internal. Took day 21 bloods at same time but nobody at the clinic has answered their phone to give me results! Side effects are awful this month, banging headaches, ☹️

Just checking in to say hello. I'm still plodding on. FW about to open, so we'll see how we get on. Not too optimistic about this month.

@Goingbacktokansascity Trying to get hold of my clinic is a nightmare too. They just never answer the phone! I have left many a pleading voicemail too. It adds so much to the stress.

They did an abdominal scan? That makes no sense. Was it even the right day of the month to do day 21 bloods?

Up up up with the dose!! It took me 5 rounds to even ovulate last time and I got pregnant first time I ovulated. Gonna book a private scan though to check and make sure I’m not ovulating late

@Rinoa my opks have been lighter this time around too! I think I ovulated on Sunday, cd13 but it was lighter than the last time I used clomid. I’ll post some pics.

So I think I’m 4dpo, cd17.

The one on lined paper was my first cycle of clomid. One on the wrapper was Sunday. Defo lighter. Do you guys think that’s a positive?

@Jemstar33 yes definitely looks positive! that's awesome mine are looking very light but think I'm just being impatient and testing too early. It's only cd10 today this is how it looks so far . Have another internal scan tomorrow to see how the follicles look.
