Our old clomid thread is no longer allowing new comments, and it's taken me 24 hours and multiple failed comments to understand why - we filled it up So thought I'd start a new one...

On my last month of clomid, just not feeling optimistic at all about this month just feel so sad and worried about the next steps.. 🙄 all bloods and scans have shown ovulation and good follicles so far, but obviously no BFP so just can't see this month being any different 😞 x

@AmyMaria2 where are you in your cycle, is this clomid number 6? Don’t give up hope. @Jesskir89 didn’t you get your bfp on cycle 6?

@ClomidCarrow yep cd1 today , starting Clomid tomorrow and got my scan next Wednesday ! Trying hard to stay focused and not let work stress me out. Wuuuuusaaaaa

@Jemstar33 cd5 last clomid tablet tomorrow, yes 6th cycle, just feels like they've been telling me everything's normal and positive for all the 5 rounds but nothing's happened!

@Jemstar33 - thank you! I'm going to try and bury myself in work and hope the tww passes quickly.

@ClomidCarrow - good luck for this cycle! It is fascinating how different the treatments are. I'm in Australia so I'm not sure if we do things differently "downunder"! Grin I do 3 shots of pregnyl throughout each cycle. A trigger shot to induce ovulation, and then two smaller amounts spaced apart in the tww that my doctor says is to help sustain a pregnancy if I have conceived. I usually get my husband to do the actual injection because I'm quite squeamish!

Good luck @Rinoa and @AmyMaria2 - hopefully we all get good news this cycle.

@Jemstar33 my bfp was on cycle 5 but my third cycle on 100mg. @AmyMaria2 did they up your dose?

I took my last tablet last night and back to hospital on Monday for a scan.....fingers crossed everything looks good!

I'm not feeling very optimistic this cycle, not sure why. Maybe just trying to stop my hopes from becoming sky high like the last two cycles! I'll take my final shot of pregnyl tomorrow morning and then it's just waiting. It's my birthday next week, I'll be 37 and it feels like added pressure getting one year older. Sorry for the moan!

@AmyMaria2 i know its hard but try not to stress. keeping everything crossed for you all ladies I know how frustrating it is. I dont get notifications on here now so please tag me and let me know how you get on. Im 12 weeks tomorrow i never thought i would see this day x

@binkyB4 I’ve got a scan on Monday too, fingers crossed for both of us. Struggling to do the deed every second day because of family visiting, we have no privacy ☹️

@Goingbacktokansascity is your scan a mid cycle one? What CD will you be?

Is there anyone who isn’t having scans?
I’ve been having 2 per cycle ( I’m only on my second cycle) but because we are private it’s pretty expensive so hoping to either knock them on th head if all well on Monday or at least cut down to one per cycle.

@binkyb4 I’m not having scans, but I’m thinking of trying them if I don’t get pregnant on my 3rd round.

I’m currently on cd11 of my 2nd round of 50mg. Positivity is fading. Maybe I’m just being impatient, and I know I should really go by opks but they seem to be all over the place, not getting any darker which they did on my last cycle. Just going to continue BD’ing every other day as @Jesskir89 keeps telling me! Happy 12 weeks ❤️

@CoffeeTables have you got anything nice planned for your birthday?

@BinkyB4 - I have one scan a month, just before ovulation to check follicle size/lining.

@Jemstar33 - It’s going to be a pretty low key birthday! Although I’ve booked dinner that night at my favourite Japanese restaurant so I’m pretty excited about that. Smile

Fingers crossed for everyone this cycle. I’m desperately hoping not to see my period this week.

Hi everyone hope you’re all doing well! Just to update you I saw the consultant a few days ago and she has given me Clomid 50mg to start during my next period - so that could be any time lol but hopefully in about 4 weeks. How did you all do with side effects?

She also said you’re unlikely to ovulate the first Clomid cycle so not to be surprised if that one doesn’t work, but I’m confused now as she also said I would need a scan 2 weeks into the first cycle to check if I’m ovulating? Does anyone have any experience of this?

Hey does anyone use pre seed? Or have experience with it? I haven't used it before but I'm on my last cycle of clomid so was going to give it ago? Will give anything a go at this point lol. X

@AmyMaria2 yes! I used preseed the month I got pregnant and intermittently now when I remember to!

@Seventytwoseventythree I haven’t heard that mentioned about not ovulating on first cycle. I did! Fingers crossed for you. My side effects have been bloating, got sweats and headaches, nothing too bad.

@AmyMaria2 @Goingbacktokansascity I just used pre seed for the first time yesterday. I have been suffering with dryness this cycle. Found it easy to use and will be doing it again.

I’m on CD13 today and I have just got my positive opk. Me and DP are in Lisbon this week. DTD last night but will be getting on with it tonight too 😂. Good luck all xxx

@AmyMaria2 - I haven't used preseed before but I think I will if this cycle (3) doesn't work.

I'm due AF on Thursday and I've just woken up (Monday morning here) with vague cramps. :( Feeling pretty down. I'm just crossing my fingers and toes that AF stays away this week.

Hi Ladies
I was on Implant for 3 years after the birth of my daughter 2014, removed it April 2018 been ttc since then with no luck.April 2019 had a laparoscopic to remove ovarian cyst.I was put on clomid 50mg (day 3-7) for 2 months and this month Sep 2019 I am on 100mg clomid had a follicle scan 16mm on cd 11, my doctor said ovulation on day 14 -15 which starts today using Preseed aswell to assist the soldiers . Hoping and praying this time the fairy preggo dust flows over me. 32yrs

@AmyMaria2 we use pre-seed too. I find putting a syringe full up there adds to the romantic vibe Grin.

I'm on cycle 2 after my surgery. Starting acupuncture again tonight.
